L'hôtel est situé devant la gare, très pratique pour les personnes qui vont prendre le train. Si vous êtes très sensible aux bruits, demandez la chambre côté cour. Après une mauvaise nuit, le bruit de la rue et des valises à 5 h du matin, nous avons décidé de quitter l'hôtel, mais la personne de la réception, nous a changé de chambre côté cour. Aucun bruit et plus frais, franchement c'est carrément un autre hôtel. Elle a sauvé notre week-end! je vous remercie! la seule chose qui vous manque c'est la clim, mais bon pour son absence vous avez le point écolo 😅. La chambre est bien propre et ça donne confiance. Pour moi l'essentiel y est c'est la propreté de la chambre et c'est vraiment excellent 👌Merci à la dame de service ! le personnel au bar au top! Je recommande

The reason for the stay was we were breaking our train journey, and this hotel is right by the station. It's a little basic but functional, and the only real criticism would be that the shower was a bit feeble. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, and breakfast too, and both were good We'd stay again if the circumstances repeated

J’étais déjà venu. Cette fois-ci logé au deuxième étage, la chambre était plus ancienne mais propre et avec une très bonne literie. Petit déjeuner agréable et de bonne qualité. J’aurais juste aimé que l’on vienne me demander si tout allait bien.

Étant des voyageurs en train pour le week-end nous avons apprécié la proximité immédiate de l’hôtel avec la Gare. Le personnel est très agréable et disponible. Nous avons également été ravis du confort de la chambre avec un petit balcon, et la propreté irréprochable. Nous reviendrons !

La fenêtre donnant sur la rue n'isole pas trop du bruit, mais est bien isolée thermiquement (2 portes-fenêtres, simple vitrage). La literie et les oreillers sont de bonne qualité, j'ai bien dormi; seulement, j'ai été un réveillé en plein nuit par le manque d'isolation avec les chambres attenante (impossible à savoir si le bruit de WC venait de l'étage ou d'à côté). Il y avait du produit pour pour la douche et pour se laver les mains, la salle d'eau était propre. Seulement, la douche est encore avec un rideau et les serviettes mise à disposition n'étaient pas assez épaisse, et donc pas très absorbante, pour un hôtel 3 étoiles. Pour finir, j'ai pris le petit déjeuner et il était agréable mais pour le prix (+12€), je me serais attendu à mieux, comme coupe de fruit frais (il y avait des fruits a disposition mais non préparer), à de la brioche de pâtisserie plutôt que de supermarché, la possibilité de se faire soi-même un jus de fruits pressé plutôt que du jus tout prêt (pas du jus sans sucres ajoutés). En conclusion, un séjour mitigé pour un prix trop élevé pour le service proposé (1 nuit + petit déjeuner = environ 98€)... Dommage

Very convenient for the train station and city centre. No air conditioning in the rooms which was a problem. The heat was excessive (34c +). The hotel provided a fan in the room which helped a little. The staff are very friendly and helpful bit the hotel is an old one and would perhaps benefit from a facelift.

The location of the hotel is very good, in front of the train station, 7-minute walk to the old town. No AC, the room was very hot and the street was very noisy, hard to keep the window open because of the noise.

L’accueil s’est très bien passé, les personnes que nous avons rencontré très sympathiques. Chambre propre. Le seul bémol c’était la chaleur dans la chambre (plein mois d’août) il y avait un ventilateur heureusement mais c’est bruyant.

This is a straightforward, simple hotel. Fine for a quick overnight between trains. Extremely convenient to the train and bus station which also means doesn’t feel super safe after dark. Room was spare on space and the access to open the bathroom window was too high even for me at 5’8. The bus station area made it loud until quite late and again quite early in the morning. Not air conditioned, which is probably not an issue for most of the year; the fan in the room was very welcome. Met our needs for one night, but definitely wouldn’t want an extended stay, especially in summer.

Well located for the train station and a clean hotel however we struggled to get parking and ended up giving up and parking in the train station which was an extra charge, despite, the breakfast was nice but very small portions and overall the service from the younger staff could have been better

Nous aurions souhaité une chambre plus calme au niveau sonore et surtout avec une meilleure isolation thermique (climatisation) plutôt qu’un simple ventilateur lorsque vous séjournez dans un établissement 3 étoiles. Le personnel est très avenant et professionnel.

J’étais déjà venu. Cette fois-ci logé au deuxième étage, la chambre était plus ancienne mais propre et avec une très bonne literie. Petit déjeuner agréable et de bonne qualité. J’aurais juste aimé que l’on vienne me demander si tout allait bien.

L'hôtel est situé devant la gare, très pratique pour les personnes qui vont prendre le train. Si vous êtes très sensible aux bruits, demandez la chambre côté cour. Après une mauvaise nuit, le bruit de la rue et des valises à 5 h du matin, nous avons décidé de quitter l'hôtel, mais la personne de la réception, nous a changé de chambre côté cour. Aucun bruit et plus frais, franchement c'est carrément un autre hôtel. Elle a sauvé notre week-end! je vous remercie! la seule chose qui vous manque c'est la clim, mais bon pour son absence vous avez le point écolo 😅. La chambre est bien propre et ça donne confiance. Pour moi l'essentiel y est c'est la propreté de la chambre et c'est vraiment excellent 👌Merci à la dame de service ! le personnel au bar au top! Je recommande

Le personnel très sympathique, le confort de la chambre très correct et de la souplesse pour le petit déjeuner ( plusieurs formules). Et la possibilité de mettre notre voiture à l’abri et en sécurité dans le parking en face.

We have stayed here 3 times. It is very convenient to the Gare. Also walking distance from centreville and the nearby park and art museum. The bus routiere is right here, as well, along with some nice restaurants of varying price ranges.

Very convenient for the train station and city centre. No air conditioning in the rooms which was a problem. The heat was excessive (34c +). The hotel provided a fan in the room which helped a little. The staff are very friendly and helpful bit the hotel is an old one and would perhaps benefit from a facelift.

Very convenient, directly across from the Gare Challes les Eaux. Short walk to popular shopping & dining areas. No air conditioning, so not the best during summer months. Staff was very kind & accommodating.

This is a straightforward, simple hotel. Fine for a quick overnight between trains. Extremely convenient to the train and bus station which also means doesn’t feel super safe after dark. Room was spare on space and the access to open the bathroom window was too high even for me at 5’8. The bus station area made it loud until quite late and again quite early in the morning. Not air conditioned, which is probably not an issue for most of the year; the fan in the room was very welcome. Met our needs for one night, but definitely wouldn’t want an extended stay, especially in summer.

Well located for the train station and a clean hotel however we struggled to get parking and ended up giving up and parking in the train station which was an extra charge, despite, the breakfast was nice but very small portions and overall the service from the younger staff could have been better

La fenêtre donnant sur la rue n'isole pas trop du bruit, mais est bien isolée thermiquement (2 portes-fenêtres, simple vitrage). La literie et les oreillers sont de bonne qualité, j'ai bien dormi; seulement, j'ai été un réveillé en plein nuit par le manque d'isolation avec les chambres attenante (impossible à savoir si le bruit de WC venait de l'étage ou d'à côté). Il y avait du produit pour pour la douche et pour se laver les mains, la salle d'eau était propre. Seulement, la douche est encore avec un rideau et les serviettes mise à disposition n'étaient pas assez épaisse, et donc pas très absorbante, pour un hôtel 3 étoiles. Pour finir, j'ai pris le petit déjeuner et il était agréable mais pour le prix (+12€), je me serais attendu à mieux, comme coupe de fruit frais (il y avait des fruits a disposition mais non préparer), à de la brioche de pâtisserie plutôt que de supermarché, la possibilité de se faire soi-même un jus de fruits pressé plutôt que du jus tout prêt (pas du jus sans sucres ajoutés). En conclusion, un séjour mitigé pour un prix trop élevé pour le service proposé (1 nuit + petit déjeuner = environ 98€)... Dommage

Overall a bit basic and tired, fine if you are only sleeping there but not somewhere that you would want to spend a lot of time in. Maybe try booking the Mercure across the road first? Very convenient location immediately across the road from the railway station. Room was OK, clean and everything worked fine, shower area was a bit dated. Optional buffet breakfast in the ground floor cafe was OK but the hot drinks were from a machine so not the best quality coffee however you could have as much as you wanted.

The reason for the stay was we were breaking our train journey, and this hotel is right by the station. It's a little basic but functional, and the only real criticism would be that the shower was a bit feeble. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, and breakfast too, and both were good We'd stay again if the circumstances repeated

A quick one night stay to make a train connection. Selected it because it is right across the street from the train station. Room was very small, no air conditioning, only a table fan. Bathroom was large and clean. Area around the hotel was very nice. Short walk to historic area of town. For less than USD 100 for three people in July, it served it's purpose.

Brilliant location, directly opposite the station, and great value, but in a heatwave the lack of air conditioning is a problem. The hotel supplied two fans in every room which helped. So it’s a great place for most of the year - just not when it’s 35°.
