Comfort Suites Simpsonville - Greenville

Wifi was out, door was hard to lock, fitness center has broken equipment. The hotel needs a massive upgrade. Will not stay there again. Better hotels in the area.

Stay was above average. I quit Wyndamn because people were always living in their hotels - NOT HERE so was a very nice change. Breakfast was great. Room was wonderful except fridge did not also have small freezer in it. No alarm clock but I assume phones would work as well. Only down side was pool was very cold and unusable. Also both door keyS only worked on the side door for one day on side door during a 3 day stay so was a pain to walk all the way to the lobby to get in. Would definitly stay here again. Overall a great experience.

The room was nice however i was there 3 nights not once did housekeeping come to the room and there is never anyone at the front desk and the pool was absolutely green and unusable.

Outdated rooms, pool closed by health dept, elevators need fixing, for price not worth the $

They were accommodating to cancel my reservation without any charges when I arrived and they informed me the elevator was not working and my room was on the 4th floor.

It was meh. I booked this hotel because it advertised having an indoor pool. The website did not disclose that it was closed for maintenance. My kids were disappointed and I felt it was a waste of money.

Hotel is under construction and a bit dusty. Pool was not open. Breakfast was alright. Waffle maker was excellent. Plenty of parking.

We were going to Greenville for a graduation and was so appreciated that the hotel let us checked in before 3pm. The receptionist was very polite and friendly. The room was very big with a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The sofa was wore out and very uncomfortable to sit on. Somethings were out dated and old, however about half the room was updated. The bathroom tub was very old and chipped up, but the faucet looked new. The floor was dirty and the carpet was worn out. The bed was a bit stiff/firm however we slept well. The ice machine was removed from the 3rd floor, so there wasn't any ice available. That was disappointing and we were to tired to fuss around looking for one. There was a small refrigerator, no ice box in it and it was unplugged. My husband managed to get it plugged in. Breakfast was very good. They had cornbeef hash and cheese omelets. That was a first time I seen that. My husband enjoyed that. I had a waffle, that you make fresh and is always good. Plenty of other food choices for breakfast too. The coffee was terrible. It was one of those instant coffee makers and it was very watery. I sure wish they kept the regular brewing pots. I couldn't wait to get a better cup of coffee at a gas station stop. Since we only spent 1 night at the hotel, it was nice, but it could use a bit of updating. That is why I gave a 4 star hotel. We stayed in a lot of Comfort Inns and they were more updated and comfortable, that is what we were expecting in this location.

The staff at the check in front desk were great. The workout room equipment was not working so we could not do our morning workouts so sad. We stayed in room 215 on 05/10/24 until 05/12/24 it has a broke phone the TV is new but has not been hooked up to the internet, had to get Samantha from the front desk to come up to our room to get the local channels to work. One of the kitchen staff was coughing and sneezing while placing the breakfast food out the morning of 05/12/24. All in all we did not like our stay at this property.

Nice facility. Appreciated the pool, which was spacious and not too cold. The elevator lurches. That's scary.

The room had mold in the shower and it was a wheelchair ADA but I am not ADA, therefore this was a terrible booking. I did not stay here on the account of the mold in the shower.

Hotel seemed nice and cleaned til we got to the room and starting taking bags off cart. Went into the bathroom and it was roaches all on the sink and on the towels. So I immediately called downstairs and told them the problem and I needed my money back. At first gave me a hard time about giving my money back telling me I had to wait til Monday. I finally got it resolved and I left.

Friendly staff clean rooms

The front desk staff was nice and the hotel overall was clean and well-maintained. However, there were some things around the room that needed to be cleaned or replaced. The bedroom curtains had mildew and mold on them; the alarm clock had brown stuff in the cracks (not sure if it was spilled coffee or food or dirt); the fan in the bathroom was covered in thick dust and didn’t appear to have been cleaned all year. Other than that, things were comfy and we enjoyed our stay.

I booked a room through Hotel.Com for 12/6 and 12/7. However, today when I arrived, the room (407) has a disgusting, foul odor. The smell is a strong mildew sewage type odor which seems to be coming from the bathroom but permeates through the entire room. Honestly, it is inhabitable and I really believe this is a health hazard. I asked to change rooms but was told that the hotel was full and nothing was available. My next solution was to ask for a deodorizing spray, which we used to no avail. The spray did not help the smell at all. In addition, the walls and floors of the room and bathroom have filthy stains. I also emailed two managers and haven't heard back from anyone.

Overall stay wasn’t bad. Checked in with no issues. Complementary breakfast was nice. Especially with having traveled with my 2 sons. I did notice in the room the blinds did have some mold. Which is a little worrisome for anyone with allergies, which my oldest son has. I wouldn’t not stay here again but would definitely ask to make sure to look at the room before sleeping. Also on a side note. No fan in the bathroom and the tub did not drain very well. During my shower it felt like taking a bath

The hotel is near the highway. The road noise is very loud. Very difficult to get a good nights sleep. Also the carpet was dirty.

The room was very nice. The king size bed was very comfortable. There was a very nice table to work at with comfortable chair.

What we didn’t like was there were NO CLOSETS and NOT a single place to hang any coats or clothes. Room 408. The 3 baggage carts need some work. One BC had a flat tire. The 2nd BC, had such bad wheel bearing, it barely would roll without waking the dead, it was so noisy. The third BC, is a safety hazard because there is a bolt missing from the wheeled deck, to the hanger/end baggage support frame. If the one remaining bolt breaks or falls out, and someone gets hurt, you’re going to look back at this grip and wish you had fixed it, upon reading this report.

Very basic room the tv was not working no internet connected. The phone in the room was not working either

Cute rooms. Great location off the exit. Lots of basic shopping, eating and gas options. We stayed 2 nights visiting friends. Good choice

The room I had was very spacious, clean. Had great water pressure in the shower and the linen was clean and super soft sheets. A very nice stay!! Minus some of the obnoxious guests that tried upsetting the young lady at the front desk. She was very professional considering...

The property is bordering a busy interstate I-385 with traffic noise from trucks every night.

Although the initial view of room was clean , no one came back to clean or give towels, etc. we stayed 4 nights. A notice in room said room would be cleaned on third day. When that didn’t happen, we ask why and were told the notice is old and anyway they were too busy. Not good. Toilet was loose, sink cracked… pool was closed and it didn’t look like they tried to rectify. And room phone didn’t call desk Breakfast was very good and clean

The young man who checked me in wasn’t welcoming or friendly. He forgot to program the cards and when we went back down he said we didn’t leave it in the slot long enough. Then we went to get ice back on ground level and it wasn’t working. We were told to go to the 4th floor. We tried asking one employee on our way down about getting ice and got no response. Our room was clean but had a very strong order. It was difficult to sleep that night. The beds were very comfortable.

Generally, I wouldn’t leave a negative review when I left a review, but in this case I’m gonna have to. When I arrived, nobody was at the desk and there was already another customer waiting for somebody., it took about five minutes eventually, some girl came running out of the back, looking all disheveled. It took her legitimately five minutes to ring up this guest who had already signed in just to buy a soda and a snack., then proceeded to attempt to help me the only words they said to me were hello. Can I help you? I told her my name she asked me for the card for incidentals and then put my key card not in front of me but like about a foot away from me and then walked away and started talking to another guest, who she was obviously attempting to flirt with, she literally did not say another word to me didn’t tell me the Wi-Fi situation didn’t tell me when breakfast was nothing. She was way more interested in talking to dude. No doubt he was an attractive young man, but it would’ve been nice for her to at least pretend to care about if needed anything else. The room was beautiful and large well cleaned well stocked. The only gripe I have about the room is that the rest of the room is very modern but for some reason the shower looks like they left it from 1954. There’s nothing wrong with it. It just looks odd. Overall, obviously they have some training issues, but this site is good enough for an overnight stay

We had a wonderful time during our stay! Checking in and out was super easy, and the staff was VERY attentive to our needs. A very special Thank You to Misty and Jacob—they were especially helpful after my girlfriend burned her arm on the waffle maker— Misty even checked on her every morning for the rest of our stay. We will DEFINITELY be staying there again!!

My husband and I were traveling from Philadelphia pa all the way to simpsonville to visit friends as well as an anniversary trip..When we arrived we were greeting by Samantha! She was so kind and welcoming.. Our room was available right away! She was very communicative with us for all of our needs and questions she went above and beyond to help us in telling us where some things in the area were as well as best places to eat and shop!

The staff was polite but check in was slow. The ice machines, in room thermostat, and other amenities were broken. The hotel was undergoing renovations so it smelled of paint. The parts that had already been upgraded were nice.

Love all the staff they are so nice and helpful

I requested for ground floor due to medical reasons, my request was denied. There was a false fire alarm in the middle of the night, the hotel staff was unable to turn off the alarm even when no fire department personnel responded. There was a swastika mark inside the elevator multiple days. I had to complain about it before the personnel finally covered it up with a flier. The bathtub had chipped area in it due to old age.

Clean. Rooms are grown and cute. Indoor pool added a nice touch. Conveniently located by restaurants and Walmart. Close to the highway and 7/11. Breakfast wasn’t too bad. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Excellent value. Nice and quiet. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in a few months.

The welcoming staff member was very friendly. The hotel was clean and quiet. I liked how the room doors were on a slant, that gave more room to get into the suite. Our room was clean. The only thing that was interesting was the elevator, worked the whole time we were there.

We were in town for a tournament. I was pleased with the hotel staff as they were very polite. Everything seemed very well cleaned except the shower in our room. The shower wall had mold & mildew all over it. I think because it was brown marble its overlooked. The breakfast was very disappointing and not good at all. The eggs tasted bad, the coffee wasn't good and the fresh fruit was old, the bananas were almost black.

Rooms were neat and clean, breakfast was changed daily. Good selection of breakfast choices.

As a whole the stay was good. My only complaint was the free breakfast. No bacon or sausage offered, no biscuits (if there's a crowd of people you'll be waiting on those two toasters for toast) and the butter and hard boiled eggs were kept refrigerated. My hard boiled egg and butter was frozen.

The breakfast was very good. Staff kept breakfast area stocked and clean.
