This is a perfect spot to stay in Venice. Mere steps from the Grand Canal and St Marks but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There is no elevator but the staff are happy to carry bags!

Conveniently located about 20 minutes from main attractions. Staff was excellent--very helpful. Breakfast very nice and filling. Only drawback was a steep set of stairs to get to the rooms--no elevator.

The hotels in Venice are relatively old. This hotel seemed to be renovated. But it doesn’t have elevator. Comparing to other hotels, this hotel is totally OK.

The location was perfect! And the staff was very friendly and helped us with transportation. There is no elevator in the property so I would recommend travelling light.

The location is really close to the tourist attractions and water ports for transportation making it very easy for those arriving or leaving. There is a walkway along the water full of restaurants where you can eat and enjoy the sunset by the water, mind you it is also quite pricey. The staff are kind and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and even when leaving Venice, the hotel staff gave directions and the best way to travel for your money. The hotel is clean. There is a wheelchair lift for those who need it. The room was clean, bed comfy and shower water pressure was good. The hotel doesn't have a refrigerator so if you needed to keep drinks cold you could not. This hotel has free water at the front desk for you to fill a cup to drink from or your own bottle. The A/C worked good. Overall it was a good stay.

Great location. very friendly staff. the extra blanket is an added touch too. The room and bathroom is very clean, even though the room is small and relatively old. I did not expect there is no elevator, we have to bring our carry on luggage up to 2nd floor. luckily it is carry on luggage.

Room is much smller than in the images, shower can just about fit an average build person. The shower door was broken when we arrived, hotel services then removed the door, breaking pices off of the door in the process that I ended up stepping on because they didn't clean up the broken glass at all. Even after this issue was reported to the front desk we were still finding glass fragments. Very poor experience for my first time in Italy sadly

The check in was pretty simple but the receptionist offered us to switch from out terrace room toman1st floor(which was actually on the second floor) room because of our luggage. We agreed but after going into our new assigned room we decided to go back and ask for our original room because the room did not have a view and it was going to rain the next few days. She said No I cannot help you. We then scanned the room and found that one of our white towels was stained by some brown substance, the comforter was dirty and the remote had some strange chunky stuff on it. Great location but will not ever stay again.

The Hotel Al Nuova Teson is a lovely hotel in a very convenient location just a very short walk from the water taxi/ bus stop and the Doge Palace and St. Marks Square. There are lots of dining options close by and a neighborhood that you can walk through to really get a feel for the city. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the service was excellent. We highly recommend staying here.

Small cozy hotel for alone or couple very comfortable bed and breakfast is amazing. Best part was the service was excellent. Only bad part is cleanness was not top notch and smell is not the best. If they work on cleanness and smell will be the super. I will recommend to my friends and family for sure

Veldig koselig lite hotell. Bra service, bra frokost. Rent og pent. Rolig og tilbaketrukket, men allikevel veldig sentralt. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake ved neste anledning.

I have stayed here before and it has been updated since. Clean and classic with a newly renovated bathroom. Very nice and comfortable. The location is also great close enough to everything but also away from any crowds.

This is a really old property that needs some upgrade. The bathroom floors were cracked. Beds were not comfortable and there is a strong smell as soon as you enter the hotel checkin area.

Room was updated, clean and very nicely decorated. Staff was helpful and assisted bringing luggage to our room on the 3rd (really 4th) floor since there’s no elevator. Only one very narrow hall and stairway leading to our room (fire escape awareness). Thin walls led to sleepless night due to neighbor noise level at night and early morning.

This was my first time to Italy, and my wife and I were very surprised to learn that the AC had been turned off for the season. In mid-october the temps were still high enough to need AC to keep the room comfortable. I feel as though this was no clearly communicated to us by either hotels.com or the hotel itself. Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t know. Hotels.com was helpful in addressing our concerns. The hotel itself was in a good location with plenty of good restaurants around. I’m sure we would’ve enjoyed our stay if we could’ve been a little more comfortable in our room.

Cómo la mayoría de hoteles en Venecia, su infraestructura es vieja. Sin embargo, las camas son pésimas que para mí es lo más importante. No sólo porque dormimos en dos camas sencillas juntas, sino porque el colchón y las almohadas eran duras y viejas. Tiene una excelente ubicación a 3 cuadras de la plaza de San Marco y el personal es amable.

Very good value for the money, great quality breakfast, excellent friendly staff, convenient location, clean. Rooms are a bit small, and the lack of elevator might be an issue for some - we enjoyed the exercise!

Staff were friendly and professional, going out of their way to offer advice on things to do and where to go to make the most of your stay. Restaurants near in the back alley were delicious and prices much better than at restaurants on the water.

This was an ideal home base for me and my family. We booked a family room, and my 2 daughters enjoyed having their own twin sized beds. My husband and I enjoyed the welcome gift of Prosecco on ice, and the staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and transportation options. We were initially concerned about the location seemingly farther away from the city center, but it was very convenient. St. Marks square was an easy walk, and water taxis and the water bus were just down the alley. (Note there is no elevator, but we didn’t find that to be an obstacle.) My highest praise is for the front desk gentleman who discovered I had left my purse in the lobby after we checked out. He literally ran to the water bus and handed it to me just minutes before we boarded the boat. I don’t know what I would have done if he hadn’t found it and chased us down. It had our passports, etc! Thank you for your kindness! Highest recommendation for a family stay!
This was an ideal home base for me and my family. We booked a family room, and my 2 daughters enjoyed having their own twin sized beds. My husband and I enjoyed the welcome gift of Prosecco on ice, and the staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and transportation options. We were initially concerned about the location seemingly farther away from the city center, but it was very convenient. St. Marks square was an easy walk, and water taxis and the water bus were just down the alley. (Note there is no elevator, but we didn’t find that to be an obstacle.) My highest praise is for the front desk gentleman who discovered I had left my purse in the lobby after we checked out. He literally ran to the water bus and handed it to me just minutes before we boarded the boat. I don’t know what I would have done if he hadn’t found it and chased us down. It had our passports, etc! Thank you for your kindness! Highest recommendation for a family stay!

Staff were lovely and made a real effort with our toddler daughter. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location but also tucked away so not too noisy in the evenings. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The room itself could have done with a lick of paint, but provided everything we could need.

The location was perfect! And the staff was very friendly and helped us with transportation. There is no elevator in the property so I would recommend travelling light.

The location is really close to the tourist attractions and water ports for transportation making it very easy for those arriving or leaving. There is a walkway along the water full of restaurants where you can eat and enjoy the sunset by the water, mind you it is also quite pricey. The staff are kind and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and even when leaving Venice, the hotel staff gave directions and the best way to travel for your money. The hotel is clean. There is a wheelchair lift for those who need it. The room was clean, bed comfy and shower water pressure was good. The hotel doesn't have a refrigerator so if you needed to keep drinks cold you could not. This hotel has free water at the front desk for you to fill a cup to drink from or your own bottle. The A/C worked good. Overall it was a good stay.

My only advice is to get the water bus from Piazzale Roma when you arrive in from the airport. Staff were so friendly and helpful, I couldn’t recommend it enough. Breakfast was excellent too. I will definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent experience staying at Hotel Nuovo Teson during our time in Venice. The hotel is very close to the main square and also important water taxi stations that take you straight back to the train station on your way back. The staff was very pleasant to interact with and helped us with knowing our way around the best streets and food places. Felt there was no downside to the hotel. 10/10 recommend!

This is a perfect spot to stay in Venice. Mere steps from the Grand Canal and St Marks but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There is no elevator but the staff are happy to carry bags!

We enjoyed our short holiday in Venice immensely. The hotel is situated literally in central to everything. All restaurants, bars are nearby and the boat stop is just 3 minutes walk-in distance. Can’t see any flaw staying in the hotel. The staff called Rado was extremely helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent choice for those that want to be in a quiet and safe area in Venice. We would walk around the area late in the night without worry. It was close to a lot of major landmarks and made everything so much easier for us as first timer Venice goers. Also close to a couple of the major water bus lines so it is very accessible. Would recommend Teson!

We got a nice email three days before arrival showing where to get off the Venice vaporettos to be close to the hotel. Sign in was easy and they had our information. The room is small but expectedly so and we slept like babies in the comforable bed. Breakfast was generous and very well prepared. I'd recommend this place, and so would the other older couples we saw at breakfast.

Das Hotel ist eher für Erwachsene geeignet. Super Zentral gelegen. Unser Zimmer war klein aber okay fürs Übernachten. Alles da was man braucht. Fliegengitter wären toll, da es viele Mücken gab. Der Fön ist für dickere Haare eine Herausforderung. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber alles vorhanden.

Nice hotel and great location, walking distance from main attractions, but far enough from the big crowds. Only issue was the Economy Double Room with French Bed is actually a lot smaller than the room represented on the pictures, with tiny bathroom and claustrophobic shower. I would have been fine with it if that was the room I decided to pay for, but I chose this hotel mostly because of how nice and spacious it looked compared to similar hotels. After a bit of argument I was given a room more representative of the pictures for my second night, so my whole stay wasn’t ruined after all.

Charming family owned hotel offering good value for money. Front staff friendly and super helpful with taxi bookings, storing luggage, etc. We were in the annex, first floor room (no elevator). The room was small but had usual amenities. It was well laid out, had AC, comfortable bed, good pillows and nice big light duvet. Bathroom was small, but fluffy towels and shower had amazing water pressure and as a result you had to be careful the shower door was pulled in slightly in to keep water from over flowing. The only issue we had was the sound of a pump running off and on all night right behind the headboard of our bed. We think it must be something to do with their plumbing system or air conditioning. Kept me up the first night. Managed to tune it out after that.

Staff were always extremely helpful especially when we have to leave for the airport at the break of dawn. They arranged for the water taxi, helped us with our luggages and took us to the dock to catch the boat.
