Thistledown At Seger House

Our room was clean and welcoming. I love the Glided Age decor. Seger house is beautifully constructed... hardwood floor, woodwork, mantles and fireplaces in the room. Location, location, location...Just a block from the Diamond in the town of Ligonier . Restaurants and shops are within walking distance as well as Fort Ligonier.

Overall, it was a great stay. HOTELS.COM lists this place as having breakfast served daily, but that is incorrect. There are also not check in instructions, which would have been helpful, although there are signs posted about calling someone, it just seems like an email could solve some confusion

Amazing experience! I stayed at Thistledown on my way to Chicago and loved it so much that I stayed again on my return trip to the Jersey Shore. The inn is small, charming, and beautifully maintained. With only eight rooms, it feels peaceful and personal, and I truly felt like a VIP during both stays. My room was lovely, spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was wonderful, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and there was plenty of natural light. While breakfast is not offered, everything you need is within easy walking distance in the charming town of Ligonier. The morning coffee station was thoughtfully arranged with a variety of coffees, teas, and bottled water, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners were responsive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making my stay enjoyable. One of the biggest bonuses for me was that I travel with two very small dogs, and they were welcomed at no additional charge. Even better, the inn remained quiet and relaxing throughout both visits. The town itself was a delightful surprise, with wonderful shops, restaurants, and plenty to explore. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a girls' trip, or simply a relaxing place to recharge, I highly recommend Thistledown. The property also features a beautiful event venue, and it's easy to see why people would choose it for weddings and special occasions. I can't wait to return! ~Pamela

Not clear on how to check in when I arrived at 9:15 and then had no access to wifi. Could not find the password anywhere.

Easy check in, very clean facility, room was excellent and the bed was comfortable. Very vintage and modern feel. Will absolutely stay again.
