Stayed for two nights thanksgiving weekend. Loved the location, garage access and front desk staff. We noticed in day 2 that house cleaning did not come to refresh our towels etc. We brought this up to front desk and they indicated housecleaning only clean room every second day and were gone for the day. They provided us extra towels, but it would have been good to know this ahead of time. Also there was a wet spot on carpet next to air system, likely condensation. No smell or anything just damp carpet. Hotel room i. General is due update

Convenient location to the Halifax harbour waterfront shops & restaurants. Staff were super responsive. We had asked for a rollaway bed annd it wasn’t in our room upon anrrival but a quick call to the front desk and they had one in our room within 10 minutes. Our air conditioning unit broke and they sent maintenance up to replace the whole unit within a half an hour. Staff were super! Location was great! Rooftop patio was lovely.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the waterfront and many restaurants. The hotel has a pool and hot tub however the hot tub jets and the timer were not working properly. Judging by the sign they had by the timer it appears this has been the case for some time.

The room was clean and tidy and the location was excellent the only thing I would complain about is the parking fee i was there 4 days and only moved my car once and i feell having to pay to park all 4 days was too high

Found bed bug at 1130 at night. Front desk said they’d move us to different room but we did not trust that another room wouldn’t have bed bugs. No refund offered till manager was in . Stayed on Friday manager not in till Tuesday . Left the hotel with no refund and drove home. Disappointed.

The good: The location of this hotel is amazing! The lounge bartender was great and the hotel was clean. Staff at the desk was pleasant. The bad: Personally, it was not the most comfortable hotel stay. We found the bed unsupportive and the pillows were basically useless. The alternative I received was not any better than the original pillows. This hotel is right next to an active construction site and unfortunately, that is where our room was facing. There was no way to leave the HVAC fan running or an exhaust fan in the bathroom to help drown out the noise. The walls seem pretty thin as we could hear everything from the hallway. All of these factors led to poor sleep and bodily discomfort at times which was not ideal for vacation. If you do stay here, ask for a room on the side away from the construction and away from the elevator, bring a travel fan or noise machine and your own travel pillow.

The location was good for us but the room was quite cold. The doors and drawers of the furniture were not in good shape. The bedside table drawer would not stay closed ( I was hoping I wouldn’t run I to it if I had to get up through the night). The armoire door also did not want to stay closed and the dresser drawers were sticky.

The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. It was also very quiet. The room was very dated with stains on the curtains and quilt. The balcony was unusable due to construction and access was difficult. This was very poor value for the amount of $748.00 for 2 nights. We would not stay here again

This hotel is a fantastic choice for a Halifax stay, perfectly situated right on the boardwalk amidst numerous shops and restaurants. It's exceptionally clean, and the top-floor lookout offers stunning harbor and boardwalk views, ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks. Our "king with balcony" room was comfortable, but be aware that the balcony is a semi-private shared terrace. You'll likely want to keep the blackout curtains closed for privacy due to visibility into the room from other areas.

Everything was except the service at the check in desk. We were looking for rooms for a second night in Halifax but they were booked full. No problem but the gentleman couldn't lift a finger to suggest another propoerty in the Marriott group or make any suggestion. Just really poor service.

Perfect location. Everything in the room was clean and updated. Great quality products in the bathroom. Staff was very helpful. The hotel had great amenities and was efficiently run. This will be my go-to place in Halifax.

Location was fantastic. Close to everything. There is major construction next door and our room was facing so a bit loud (I had earplugs so didn't mind). Staff was friendly but need to practice to either multitask or politely stop people from chatting. We waited for 10 mins in a line up at the front desk while the only front desk person chatted with a guest about salads. We ended up leaving and returning later as well as another gentleman because it was taking too long.

Fantastic location, close to boardwalk. Nice hotel with a great top floor viewing deck. Front desk staff not very friendly or helpful. We initially booked one night but later decided to add another night. At check in, they would not connect the two days as one stay bur asked us to come in the morning and check out to than check in into another room.

Great location. Spacious harbour view room, very clean. Most staff helpful and friendly. Dinner at The Bistro was mediocre at best, very little to choose from,staff on shift not interested in customer service. Breakfast however was quite good quality and staff excellent, prices fair to high.

There was no breakfast for a fee (25CAD), it was only a starbucks there. Spoke with the front desk, he was insisting it was expedia’s fault they had put it on their page, and not Marriott’s. And if I wanted a lavish breakfast, I would’ve checked in to a bigger hotel. That’s not the point, I was asking about the breakfast that was said on my booking. The rooms had no toiletries. The tub already had a stain, which for a Marriott hotel, at least have a clean tub. But nonetheless, Check in and Paid parking were smooth. Rooms were tidy. Housekeeping was fast. Balcony was nice to be able to sit outside but couldn’t see street as view is blocked. Rooftop terrace was nice but it was cold. Be nice to have fire table. Pool was nice and hottub was warm but bubbles wouldn’t turn on. Bistro breakfast was excellent. Get the tator tots.
