It does what it says - super close to the airport (it is in the now mothballed terminal 1), so convenient place to rest your head for an early flight. Rooms are basic and have no windows, but clean. Shuttle is efficient or you can walk for 10 minutes

A proposta de se hospedar no aeroporto é válida, quando se tem um voo de madrugada, pois evita ficar exposto a violência do RJ. Dito isso, o hotel em si é bom. Quartos limpos, café com boas opções e funcionários simpáticos. O ruim é o estacionamento. Como não tem convênio, paguei 83 reais de diária.

O hotel é no terminal 1, dentro do aeroporto. Tem transfer gratuito e é bem silencioso. As camas são confortáveis e a estadia foi muito boa, deu para descansarmos para seguir viagem. O café da manhã é básica mas bom. Os funcionários foram solícitos

I selected this hotel because it was within the airport and I wouldn’t need to venture out into Rio at night. Mission accomplished! The hotel is clean and safe. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant/bar that is adjacent to the hotel in the airport. The reason for only four stars it that It is a bit difficult to find because it is in the older terminal one and most of the flights are in terminal two but it is possible to walk between the terminals. All of the taxis and Ubers are at T2, so expect some walking. I was able to leave my bags there for the day while I toured the city

It was AWFUL !!! First, it was impossible to find. It’s located in the old Terminal One building of GIG, Rio’s international airport. There are no signs on the building telling you there is a hotel inside. Once you’re in the building, the old airport terminal, there are no signs directing to the hotel. There were three men and a woman checking people in. The men were rude and the single woman did all the work. The male reception staff ignore customers, even to the point of walking away when customers came up to the counter. We were charged an extra $50 for a second person and $30 for parking. You have to pay the parking at a kiosk in the basement, AGAIN with no directions how to get there. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER !!!

Convenient location within the GIG airport. Located about 45 minutes by car from main attractions. Basic amenities (toiletries, snacks, dining on site and small fitness center) but perfect for my brief stay. Just note the outlets are 220v so bring a converter.

Foi bastante desafiadora, pois fomos ao local aonde supostamente o transfer deveria passar. Passava a vans de todos os demais estabelecimentos, menos a deste hotel. Após 40 minutos, ligamos na recepção e em 5 minutos a van chegou. Na volta, o mesmo desafio, esperamos 20 minutos, nada da van. Após ligar na recepção, então em 5 minutos chegou. Um sincero descaso. Finalmente, ainda que declaram estar dentro do aeroporto, tecnicamente está dentro da área do aeroporto, mas está longe de tudo, não dá para se acessar a pé, portanto, não se consegue acesso a restaurantes a não ser o do próprio hotel ou pedir via iFood. Se não for preparado, você inclusive pode perder seu vôo.

I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms have no windows, which makes them feel very closed in and uncomfortable. On top of that, there was mold throughout the property, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and health. To mask the problem, the entire place smelled strongly of bleach, but that only made it worse. Overall, a very unpleasant and unhealthy environment.

Infelizmente, o estado do hotel não corresponde às fotos nem ao que é divulgado. O hotel está bastante degradado e o quarto “de luxe” não chega nem perto do que prometem. É antigo e já passou de seus “dias de glória”. A porta do quarto não trancava por dentro, o que causava insegurança; por isso, precisei usar a mala para travá-la. A roupa de cama estava manchada — no lençol havia algo que parecia sangue e na colcha marcas semelhantes às de sapato (tenho fotos). O ar-condicionado central fazia um barulho insuportável, tive que desligá-lo. Além disso, a grade do duto na parede estava muito suja, dando a impressão de que não recebia manutenção há tempos. Só permaneci no local porque cheguei de uma viagem longa do exterior, já era noite e eu estava exausta.

A experiência foi terrível. A começar pelos telefones com defeito, que impossibilitam entrar em contato do aeroporto para solicitar o transfer. Na sequência, ao chegar no quarto e ir utilizar o banheiro, a tampa do vaso sanitário estava toda urinada. Ou seja, trocam acomodam hóspedes sem de fato limpar o quarto entre uma estadia e outra. Fui acomodada em um novo quarto, porém fiquei com muito nojo, sem saber se os lençóis e demais itens estavam limpos. Os cabides eram cheios de poeira, o filtro do secador encrostado de sujo. Péssima experiência.

It was fine. It’s nice that there is a hotel inside airport. But the room didn’t have any windows. The door to the room was very thin and I could hear everything from the hallway so I felt unsafe and couldn't sleep.

The reception staff were particularly unhelpful and unfriendly at both check in and out, a smile can go a long way! Woken up in the middle of the night by someone else opening the door to our room, who'd obviously been given a key by reception. Followed by a call from reception asking who we were and no apology whatsoever! Hotel in disused terminal, directions to which were poor. The room was dated and in need of a good clean especially bathroom. The only saving grace was the staff in the bar who were friendly and helpful. Dinner was however not great. Bearing in mind it's an airport hotel the lack of an early breakfast was unacceptable.

Staff at check in (9/9/25) were amazing, the girl at the desk was lovely and spoke amazing English. Also, we had a great waiter in the restaurant, younger guy who also spoke amazing English, same evening we checked in - he was wonderful and helpful. The hotel is not fancy, very basic, but it was very clean and very quiet which we greatly appreciated.

Em especial ao William que nos levou ao aeroporto e nos auxiliou com um taxi no momento que precisamos, rapaz muito educado e conhecedor de sua função, merece ser olhado de perto pelos seus superiores, tem muito futuro nesse colaborador de vcs.

Estadia péssima no hotel. Pra começar, definitivamente a recepcionista não sabe o que é sorriso. Parece que estava ali com um mau humor sem fim, sem vontade de trabalhar, uma coisa horrível. Precisei de uma água a temperatura ambiente no café da manhã e, pasmem, não havia. Não havia água fria no café da manhã, então fui obrigado a comprar. Uma garrafa de 1,5L me custou R$20. É isso mesmo. Um roubo, um abuso. As garrafinhas de água do quarto de 300ml custam R$8 cada. E pra finalizar, o transfer que é gratuito até o Terminal 2, foi um caos. Descemos até o ponto de encontro e lá estava a van. Parada e sem motorista. Esperamos mais de 30min e ninguém apareceu. Liguei pra recepção e falaram que não tinha van, que estava em manutenção. A van estava na minha frente e falaram isso. Depois disseram que estava estragada e eu teria que ir ANDANDO até o terminal 2. É muito longe, quem conhece sabe o que estou falando. Eu com minha família, lotado de malas, com um bebê e muito sol. Acreditam nisso? A atendente ainda desligou na minha cara! Uma falta de consideração, respeito e profissionalismo. Péssimo atendimento, decepcionante, não recomendo mesmo. Com muito custo, após quase 1h, o motorista apareceu. Por questão de minutos eu não perdi o horário de tirar meu carro do estacionamento e teria que pagar multa. Ah, o quarto tinha cortina, tampando a janela? Não. Ao abrir a cortina, sem janela, cortina fake tampando a parede. Isso mesmo. O resumo foi isso. Uma experiência horrível.

Foi bastante desafiadora, pois fomos ao local aonde supostamente o transfer deveria passar. Passava a vans de todos os demais estabelecimentos, menos a deste hotel. Após 40 minutos, ligamos na recepção e em 5 minutos a van chegou. Na volta, o mesmo desafio, esperamos 20 minutos, nada da van. Após ligar na recepção, então em 5 minutos chegou. Um sincero descaso. Finalmente, ainda que declaram estar dentro do aeroporto, tecnicamente está dentro da área do aeroporto, mas está longe de tudo, não dá para se acessar a pé, portanto, não se consegue acesso a restaurantes a não ser o do próprio hotel ou pedir via iFood. Se não for preparado, você inclusive pode perder seu vôo.

I selected this hotel because it was within the airport and I wouldn’t need to venture out into Rio at night. Mission accomplished! The hotel is clean and safe. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant/bar that is adjacent to the hotel in the airport. The reason for only four stars it that It is a bit difficult to find because it is in the older terminal one and most of the flights are in terminal two but it is possible to walk between the terminals. All of the taxis and Ubers are at T2, so expect some walking. I was able to leave my bags there for the day while I toured the city

Hotel is in the airport. It\'s in Terminal 1 precisely. Currently T1 does not have any flights so the terminal is "dead." Some people cannot take Uber directly to the hotel because the driver says they cannot go to T1. There\'s a considerable distance to go to T2 which is where the flights are. Fortunately they do have 24-hour free shuttle on the 1st floor. Since the hotel is in an airport terminal, there are NO windows. The floor is a bit unclean. But overall it\'s been a nice experience.

Ar condicionado estava extremamente gelado e não dava para alterar a temperatura! Um ponto extremamente negativo é o fato de o café da manhã só poder ser servido após as 6h! Um hotel dentro de um aeroporto deveria ter mais flexibilidade quanto ao horário de café da manhã! Ademais, quando fomos embora do hotel o café da manhã já estava todo pronto no salão onde é servido, mas não nos deixaram tomar o café da manhã por ainda não ser 6 h da manhã! Atendimento bem ruim

Os funcionários do hotel e responsáveis pelo transfer são muito atenciosos e educados. As instalações são boas, o quarto é amplo, o banheiro muito bom. Os pontos contrários são o barulho vindo do corredor interno, pois se ouve tudo o que fala quem passa (mas não se ouvem aviões), e o café da manhã que achamos fraquíssimo. Pelo preço cobrado deveriam ter um café da manhã de qualidade.

I had an unique experience at the airport hotel. At first, I was going to stay only one night, but decided to stay two more nights! Mainly because of the staff, the hotel's breakfast, and the ability to go to the airport walking through the internal corridors that go from the hotel to the airport. On the way, inside the corridor, and close to the hotel, there is a little chapel opened for your prayers and peace of mind. All the STAFF PERSONNEL was wonderful. Any issue or request that I had, they promptly helped, with a smile and goodwill. When came my time to leave the hotel, my cat hid under the bed, and I didn't know what to do! I called front desk, and they were very calm and understanding. Very soon another front desk member called to ask if I wanted help catching my cat. When he told me, that he had cats of his own, I decided to accept his help. He was the best! His name is FABRÍCIO, and he well represents the satisfaction that I had on staying at the Airport Hotel.
