North Rustico Harbour Inn

The room was spotless, with everything in new condition. The nautical motif on the bed cover and shower curtain were a cute touch. The room was completely soundproof even with neighbours on each side. We did not hear them at all, we did not even hear the cars outside. The parking was super convenient, each room has its own parking spot right outside the door. The check in was very clear even when we arrived late. The motel is family run with well-organized conscientious staff. A few things needed improvement: 1. The AC in the room was very difficult to figure out and is at the back of the room and does not cool the fromt area properly, where the bed is. The room got quite stuffy even with the windows open. 2. No guest laundry. We saw laundry machines near the office but were told they are not for guest use. 3. The name of the motel ‘Harbour’ Inn is not accurate. We were expecting to be nearer the harbour or have a view of the harbour. The motel is set back off the road up the hill and was not a pleasant walk down to the harbour then back uphill because there is no sidewalk. You have to walk on the side of the road which is dangerous or on the wet grass at the edge of the road. You really need to drive down to the harbour to get there safely.

The hotel is very simple, nothing fancy and no amenities other than the rooms but it was very clean with chic, comfortable rooms. Staff were very polite and accommodating. Because there was no pool, there were no kids which made the hotel even quieter. Would definitely stay again!

Beautifully decorated room! You would never think you were in a motel room. Nice adirondak chairs outside every unit. Very comfortable bed and luxurious bedding and towels.

This is a remarkably renovated old style drive up hotel. This one is so clean and so nicely renovated I would prefer it to most standard large chains. The beds were great, the linens were clean and smelled clean, the furnishings were new and in good taste. The shower worked great with plenty of hot water. Check in was great and there are even chairs outside the door to relax in. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel and its location is perfect. It’s right in the heart of the best area of PEI with Green Gables a few minutes away and very close to Cavendish Beach and Thunder Cove. If I returned I would stay here again for sure. And BONUS they have smart TVs (can watch from your Netflix account)

This was a great location to stay near Cavendish while not in Cavendish, which is really busy. I was on a road trip so it was great to have a place I could park right near the door. The room was big, comfy, and nicely decorated. The owner and staff were all really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

The room was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. We thought the beds and pillows were great - very comfy. It was really nice to have a mini fridge with a freezer to store ice-packs for the cooler and an outside was station for all the sandy shoes etc. The staff were super nice as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Emplacement très bien situé à North Rustico. Chambre spacieuse et belle décoration. Chaises adirondak très agréables devant le motel. Très bon déjeuner au restaurant tout près Tide and tales bistro.

Great property and a great location. Close to everything We have stayed here many times and will be back for many more !!! Adding a pool would be great for families.

This was our second time staying at this property and we will absolutely be back. The staff are wonderful, rooms are exceptionally clean, beds are super comfortable, theres an outside wash station for beach toys etc. and Cavendish is just mere minutes away. Just lovely.

Amazing property in a really great location. The room with two queen beds was beautiful, the coastal aesthetic and decor and even the chairs outside each room to lounge were well maintained. Each room has parking outside the door making access easy. North Rustico is situated in the central north of PEI making it a convenient location to travel either side of the island from. Beautiful little harbour town! We will definitely be back!

This property met all our expectations . It was very clean and quiet. Well located and reasonably priced.

Staff was super friendly, he gave us great suggestions for great places to dine, which we were very grateful for. Room was extremely tiny...but it did have a great shower, great wifi, good little refrigerator, a portable Keurig coffee machine for a fast cup of coffee in the morning, and nice comfortable bedding. Despite discovery of a few crawling insects (eww).... it was generally clean. We appreciated that they 'surfaced clean', made our beds, and removed garbage daily. What I dislike was - the AC unit n the room was SO loud and annoying and didn't always work properly. We went from being hot, humid and uncomfortable to being freezing cold (the remote was inoperable)...we did not complain to the staff because we were leaving the next day... Lastly, the hotel is not aesthetically beautiful on the outside at all...would be so much more inviting for future guests if the owners/operators added pots of colourful flowers by the throughout the units and improved the general landscaping!

Was a great little place with everything we needed and close to lots of food. Only complaint would be the mold I’m the bathroom around the fan.

Very cute, clean, and quiet fully updated motel/inn. Walking distance to great coffee and grocery store in North Rustico, and easy driving distance to Cavendish and Charlottetown. Highly recommended.

PEI is the place to go for seafood. The Harbor Inn is basic but quite adequate. My one gripe is that the bed was excessively soft.

We had a wonderful stay here and the amenities in the room were great for our stay. The freezer/fridge combination was excellent because we were able to keep our ice packs frozen for long car rides. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. You had access to a couple of BBQs which would be nice for longer stays. Potential improvements- Electric car charger would be nice Tv configuration needs adjustments - volume too loud even at the lowest setting. Night light in the bathroom did not work unless the light was on in the bathroom which negated the usefulness of the night light

The rooms had been tastefully renovated and redecorated fairly recently.

The ideal place to stay in Cavendish with easy access to all things Anne of Green Gables! The room was spacious and comfortable with a decent shower and a fair sized refrigerator where we kept groceries from the grocery store down the road! Each unit has a parking spot by the front door!

Although this property looks like the motels of the past, we were quite surprised and pleased when we entered the room. They are completely remodeled, wood floors, modern furniture, beautiful bathroom, and the bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend this bargain.

Newly renovated rooms and close to everything.

Very quiet, clean, and decorated well. I thought we had booked a king size bed but the bed was queen and small for us. The room and the bathroom sink is small, also. But I would stay again if it was a king size bed.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking was right outside the unit. My only criticism was that the day we were there the shower was very cold.

We had a booking glitch and had two rooms booked! The owner dealt with the third party booker to get the second room cancelled on the day we arrived. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

The property gives you a safe, clean place to stay while visiting the beaches and shops of North Rustico. It's an easy drive to get to and location is well within daily visits to several important spots on PEI. Staff was helpful and pleasant. It's not the usual "motel" environment, so don't be turned off.

Tao and his staff are so friendly and accommodating. This was our 3rd annual 2-night stay at North Rustico Harbour Inn and it is just as clean, comfortable, and beautiful as it was on our very first stay there! We will be back again and again :)

It was so quiet and peaceful, yet it was a very short drive to everything

It was a good price point. Convenient location to some attractions we wanted to see. It worked well for us as an anchor point to travel in all directions.
