Very disappointed. We decided to stay at this hotel because of the pool and spa. We were not told that these were closed, if we would have known, we would have made other arrangements. We were told that there was a lake close, uf we wanted. Ah no. Lots of things broken, lamp, parts in the bathroom. Backdoor didnt lock. Not worth the money that we paid.

Free continental breakfast was quite satisfying. Pool, hot tub & work out facility were decent as well. Room on 2nd floor with no elevator so did do a lot of climbing up and down stairs. Something to be mindful of at least. We stayed two nights and none of our dirty towels were removed & we did not get fresh ones for day two. Often no attendant available so were not able to ask either. Ice machine & guest laundry were all conveniently located on 1st floor & easy to use. Good size fridge & microwave in rooms is a plus.

For the most part place was okay for a overnight stay. Vending machines were either empty or inoperable. Hot tub was out of service. Expected a little more for the continental breakfast.

My account was charged twice and I was told that the more than $1k charge was a normal process to prevent bounced payments. They reimbursed the charge after I requested it, but they didn't want to and said it would drop off the next day. The receptionists were not at the desk most of the time and we had to wait for service. The rooms had long strands of hair on the sheets and hair on the bathroom floor. There were several very visible stains on the linnen and the walls. The staff changed the linnen at our request. The hotel is old, very outdated (think an 80s basic room), and worn. For the amount paid, it was embarrassing to take my family. Went to visit a family friend at the larger hotel nearby and it outshined this one. We will definitely stay at the other one next time.

The hotel is older, but is in good condition and is well maintained. The morning breakfast was the usual, but it was very fresh and clean. Plenty of coffee or things and choices to chose from. The staff was always helpful. My wife and I stay here whenever we are in Whitewater and have never been disappointed. Clean, nice and a good nights sleep.

There was a plastic cup from the people before us under the rocking chair. The door in between our room and our neighbor's allowed us to hear everything they said and what was playing on their TV and knowing that, we didn't feel a sense of privacy since they could hear the same. The worst part of this stay was when we got back to the hotel at night and saw police knocking on someone's window and saw police officers knocking on that same room's door 4 doors down from us. The door was then sawed into around 1am and we could not fall asleep because of the noise and worrying about what was going on a few doors down. After that awful night we do not plan on coming back here again.

We arrived around 10:00 pm and checked in. The sign on the door said non smoking, opened the door and it smelled like someone had just had a cigarette in the room.I have asthma and this was not going to work. We went back to the front desk and were given a different room. Walked into the new room and got a phone call from the front desk saying we couldn't stay in that room because he had already given it to someone else and we had to leave. He had no other rooms available so we had to find somewhere else to go. The entire hotel is aging and needs to be updated. Now we are waitng to be refunded.

Great stay for a quick overnight trip. We accidentally left something in our room after check out. The front desk staff (manager, maybe?) went up to our room and MAILED it to us!! Did we have to pay for shipping? Absolutely (gladly!). I am so happy with our stay and the extra service!

The staff, both day and evening were so friendly like we’ve been there before. The rooms were clean the little breakfast area it was clean. I was quite impressed and going to make sure and tell all my friends to stay there. Thank you for treating us guests, more like family.

My son will be attending UW Whitewater so we stayed overnight prior to Registration and orientation as we live almost 3 hours away. Checkin was easy, parking was good, and room was clean. Not happy with breakfast as there was no waffle batter and when asked about it at the front desk it appeared to be an inconvenience and the 1 cup that was brought out (there were 4 of us waiting) was basically water and we all passed on it. I opted for an English muffin and my son skipped completely. Overall we will stay there again as it is so close to campus and very convenient. However, I have noticed that they inflate their prices during known UW Whitewater events where some of the other hotels don't so we're choosing to try out other hotels in the area as well.

We needed a room for one night. This hotel was fine, a little older and a little cheaper, and near shopping, gas, restaurants, etc. It has a pool, which we didn’t use. It has a breakfast, which we did use. We slept very well. That’s about all we needed for a night away from home.

Dated property with maintenance issues. Breakfast was meager, with common items running out and not refilled. Empty food trays and bowls. We chose this hotel for the pool and it was out of order, with seemingly no urgency to get it repaired. Request to the front desk were met with indifference as if we were an inconvenience.

We were in town for 1 night, a little bummed the pool/hot tub was down, but they let us know immediately. The hotel is older and could use some upgrades, however the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and the coffee was great!
