S`ekar Pinang Langkawi

Had a blackouts in one night but numerous calls to the 'hotline' even after one hour numerous calls!

S’ekar Pinang is a wonderful place. It’s located in a more quiet remote area, while at the same time being only about a 10 min drive away from the very popular Pantai Cenang. The facilities (pool, aircon, rooms, living area etc )were of high quality and very inviting. The personnel (Wan and crew) at the place did everything in their power to make sure we had a great stay and were very flexible and willing to personalise. Absolute recommend!

All the staff were very accommodating and friendly -- Jamal and Am, kitchen staff as well as handyman. They are just opening up since the lockdown so we didn't expect everything to be in tip top condition. But they were very kind to give personalised service like timing of breakfast. The bathtub was the largest I've used from a hotel! Kitchenette could be better equip (i.e. dishwashing sponge, scissors). The property is located further away from the usual attractions but this ensures peace and quiet. The drive to the property can be daunting but you'll get used to it.

This place needs more attention how gorgeous it is ! While everyone in Langkawi up for the same old beach and duty free, here you will encounter a completely different vibe! Zero noise pollution, surrounded by various fruits trees and plants. Squirrels 🐿. My husband and celebrated our 100th wedding Anniversary 🤗 here. We were warmly welcomed by Jamal who is available throughout to enjoy the stay. Breakfast was simple yet the right traditional options. Even held the breakfast up to 11.30am for us. A Sweet lady named Halija welcomes us at breakfast in a small hut just below the accommodations. We absolutely didn’t want to leave the room, spending time at the pool just in front of our Luxurious room. To future visitors please use google maps for directions. The road to the accommodation is among paddy field, secluded. I suggest you rent a small car like Viva, its only RM50 per day or a scooter to help you get to the main road for dinner and lunch. It is very difficult to get a grab driver to get to your location to pick up. Well good things ain’t easy to get ! It’s totally worth it ❤️

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im S'kar Pinang sehr genossen. Schon allein die Bauweise und die viele ausgestellten Kunstwerkesind sehenswert. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes, großes Zimmer mit vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten und sogar ein Extraraum mit riesigem Kleiderschrank - das haben wir bei unseren Reisen noch nicht sehr oft erlebt. Unser Zimmer lag genau vor dem Pool. Hier konnte man gut entspannen, denn um einen herum war nur Natur. Die kleine Anlage hat lediglich 8 Zimmer und so war nie viel Trubel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechslungsreich und mit vielen einheimischen Spezialitäten. Sehr lecker! Leider bietet die Unterkunft - nicht wie im Internet zu lesen - kein Abendessen an. Das ist sehr schade. Da die Unterkunft nur über sehr schmale Straßen zu erreichen ist, macht es nachts keinen großen Spaß mit dem Mietwagen noch einmal zum Essen zu fahren. Doch man kann sich vorort auch einen Roller leihen. Das ist dann etwas praktischer. Unglaublich positiv ist der Manager der Unterkunft - Sam - hervorzuheben. Er ist immer da, wenn man ihn braucht, hat immer ein Lächeln, ist freundlich und hilft, wo er nur kann. (z.B. beim Abholen des Mietwagens, beim Geldwechseln im Nachbarort, beim Bestellen von Essen). Vielen Dank auch für die wunderschönen Gespräche. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist im S'ekar Pinang richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
