Indoor heated pool and hottub was very nice. The only drawback would be the 2nd floor lacks an elevator. The stairs to the 2nd floor are quite easy, many steps with a relatively low rise so its easy to go up and down.

Only negative thing I can say is it is way to hot in pool room. Too hot to sit and watch kids swim. It was in the 90's outside and I think it was hotter than that in pool area.

Property is very clean! Free Breakfasts were unique in presentation especially the eggs each day. Lots of choices. Rooms were large and bright with blackout shades for sleeping. Extremely quiet and slept Great! Staff was very pleasant.

Room was great, we had the one bedroom fireplace suite. Spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast good. Location was covenant. The staff was super friendly and courteous. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a great stay. On the plus side, it was great to see the breakfast area being restocked up to the scheduled end time for breakfast. Many hotels stop replenishing and the stragglers who come at the last minute don't have much to choose from. On the minus side, the exterior trash can near the door closest to our room didn't get emptied once during our two night stay. It was full when we arrived and was overflowing with extra trash set alonside it (in fast food bags or shopping bags) by the time we left. Another minus is that the room's thermostat wouldn't go below 67° and I like to sleep a little cooler than that.

The staff was great! The view was a cluttered junk type backyard. The room was nice and cozy so we closed the curtains. The pool and hot tub were prefect. This stay, the morning was noisy starting at 6am.. lots of slamming doors.

This property is clean and average visually. I don’t need an elevator but was really surprised to find they don’t have one so if you are on the second floor, plan on trips. They were half full and I called down and was going to ask for a 30 minute late check out but I didn’t even get it out before I was cut off and told no. I was able to get ready and out of the room by 11 on the nose. Didn’t participate in breakfast or coffee.

Lovely spot in a nice walkable area - Hy-Vee is just a couple blocks away for groceries if you're planning on staying a while, and the downtown area is worth exploring as well. I just wish I could have stayed longer to see more of the town

Everything about this place is just quietly impressive: The cleanliness, the level of service, the condition of all the fixtures and fittings, the water pressure - everything. The lounge is bright and clean and comfortable. Hotel is right on Hwy 169 but 169 never gets very loud or busy, so it's convenient without being "urban." There's a Caribou Coffee next door just in case you want something not on offer in the hotel lobby (like a mid afternoon snack). Try this place. You' love it.

Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly receptionist. She had our reservation and check in went smoothly. The rooms are simple but clean! At night, it was quiet and we slept well. The free breakfast boasts 2 hot items (rotates the menu each day) and plenty of other options, including an automatic pancake maker. The breakfast area is cozy and has ample seating. We were only there for one night, but would come back again!

Great hotel. Check in was easy and staff polite, Beds were very comfortable - each with four pillows. Lots of hot water and good water pressure for showers. Thick towels. Very good breakfast - scrambled eggs and bacon, pancake maker, bread and English muffins, yougurt, pastries, cereals, coffee and more. Would definitely recommend.
