It was being renovated and had some open hazards. The pool and hot tub were CLOSED! Many of the vending machines were broken or out of product. No available bottled water in the machines.

Very clean but needs some repairs and updates. Room 108 door wouldn’t shut properly and was offset in frame. Sauna didn’t work. Pool needs remodel and pump repair. Hot tub needs repairing. Only half jets worked. Not sure what is wrong in pool area but incredibly hot (so hot they propped door open) and portable dehumidifiers were in place. Breakfast was mediocre.

Very clean lobby area and rooms!! Super friendly front desk staff when we checked in. We arrived 2 hours before scheduled check-in and our room was ready. A nice way to begin our stay. Easy, convenient access to the highway. Cute restaurant just down the road…Isabel’s Bakery. Would definitely stay here again when in town. Thank you.

Hotel needs a good deep cleaning. Looks fine from initial look then found some unpleasant things (cleanliness wise) in the room. Pool was nice. Breakfast was decent. We wouldn’t stay again due to the lack of cleaning.

The bed is comfortable and the heating worked well. The guys at the front desk were very friendly, too. It would be nice to get the snow cleared in the parking lot regularly. There was no water at breakfast, so I grabbed a cup and went to the sink in the breakfast area and saw mildew around the knobs. The shower floor was slippery as well and the faucet dripped. I would hope for better cleaning.

The room wasn’t cleaned before my stay. Used wash cloth in the shower and pubic hair all over the tub, a loud semi running all night right outside my room in the hotel parking lot. Disappointed and will not be back.

Staff was very friendly. They seemed a little short staffed. The room wasn't overly clean. My toddler stood in the tub and left black footprints from the carpet. It also smelled like mildew. Breakfast was nice. I probably would stay again because options are limited but it cold use a good deep clean.

We stayed one night here and as soon we walked in the room we seen handprints on the baseboard, gross! I don’t know how this was not seen when the room was cleaned??? Also the bottom of the toilet bowl was not cleaned there was brown fecal matter in the toilet. Which was not cleaned properly. I was nervous to sleep in the room because of what was seen. The next day we eat and the eggs were disgusting tasting! And the meat was room temperature. There was nobody at the front next when we checked out. We were very disappointed with our stay!!!’

We found the room to have a musty smell. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom could definitely been cleaner. The ceiling tiles were badly stained and the smoke detector was missing. The front desk people were friendly and polite. The breakfast was nice.

My partner and I had quick and efficient service, a perfect room with all of the amenities you’d expect. Quick access to downtown. We had a room with a king bed and jacuzzi and it was very relaxing.

I was not thrilled when I saw the pictures of the bedrooms and lobby online, but I booked because of the availability, the price and how close it is to the beach. When we arrived, the place was noticeably updated. The room is spacious, modern looking and clean. The beds and pillows comfortable. The staff was kind. Decent continental breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

Wanted to book a trip last minute and the place we normally stay was very expensive with so many events going on in the area. Found this hotel for a quite a bit cheaper. I went in knowing that is would not be as nice as what we were use to but it was ok. My kids did really enjoy the pool and hot tub they were bigger than expected. The rooms were fine but seems to be damp and a little musty the bathrooms could use some updates but was clean. Over all it was a fine stay

The rooms were very small. The beds felt hard when we sat on them. We didn't stay however because we wanted to use the hot tub and it was out of order. I guess it has been for a long while and was full of algae. We didn't get a refund because we were told it was on their website but I have looked and can find no mention of it anywhere. It was just a really big disappointment and so was the lack of an offer to give at least a partial refund. We found accommodations elsewhere with a hot tub and more spacious rooms. Would not recommend.

Decor was pleasant. Nice sitting area in lobby. But our room had a heavy unpleasant smell (possibly from recent renovations or carpet) and the bottom of the bathroom door frame was rotted. Breakfast was okay. Difficult to communicate with person at reception desk because of limited English.

The staff was awesome! Accommodating and very pleasant! We had an issue with our tub, it wasn't an easy fix, they got us in a different room right away! The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The lobby is very inviting and comfortable. Nice to sit and relax, play cards and have some drinks and kick back. The continental breakfast is yummy. The pool is a medium size nice to play in and the hot tub is nice and relaxing. They do have a sauna but it was out of commission. The location was stellar! Easy and not far from anything! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! BONUS... If you're an animal lover, there's a cute tiger stripe cat with a white tip tail roaming around. He's Friendly but a little stand offish, he might have gotten hurt,because when you pet his back he hisses and pulls back, but loves his head petted and when you feed him, he'll rub all over you.

I was wanting to leave one day early and was at front desk way before checkout time and man would not refund my money! He could have but wouldn't so he probably made the money from me and rebooked my room. He refused to give me back my money for that day. Never going back. Greed!

Overall the hotel is clean. Badly in need of an update. No elevator…should be noted in ad. I saw one poor lady getting help from her family to get down the long staircase. For $500 for 2 required nights…highly over priced. We were gone all day Sat. and when we returned in the evening…our room had not been serviced or cleaned in any way. The language barrier is another problem. I saw that this was evident with many other patrons as well. We won’t be returning.

Our 3 night stay at AmericInn by Wyndham was overall very good. Clean rooms. Great location. Nice pool. The only thing I would change is that they only have about 10 seats in the dining area. With over 100 guests at one time, finding a place to enjoy breakfast is almost impossible. Still a wonderful hotel overall!

We used to like staying here. It seems as if the owners are trying to cut too many corners to save on costs. For example: There was only 1 bar of soap. We like to have soap for the bathroom sink and soap for the shower. We had to keep bringing the soap from the sink to the shower and the shower to the sink. Also- Breakfast is extremely poor. The bananas were not suitable to eat. The cream cheese is a poor imitation Not good at all. The coffee is terrible. The eggs were not cooked properly and there was no meat at all.

It's a nice motel. Rooms were in decent shape. They looked clean. Overpriced for what they offer but it's a tourist trap area and I guess demand is high. I was mind-blown when we came back at midnight and a couple was at the front desk looking for a room and the front desk attendant told them "I have one, it's $294/night" which is the price I paid by reserving days in advance. So they'd rather keep a room completely empty with $0 in revenue instead of lowering the price. SMH Breakfast is what you'd expect: fake scrambled eggs, questionable sausage patties, bread/bagels/muffins, waffle machine. Didn't see anyone cleaning tables or even making sure food was ok during breakfast.

We had no complaints other than the breakfast was lame. It was very carb and sugar heavy, and not much protein. Difficult for a diabetic to eat breakfast, so wouldn't count on a decent breakfast here.

the breakfast was very good each morning, the staff monitoring to refill items that were getting low, every worker was friendly and polite. the room and beds were great, this was our third time staying at this hotel and we will stay again in the future.
