Most staff were absolutely lovely. They were all warm and friendly apart from the person on check in at Rachels who was rude and bossy with cusromers. Pool.complex was beautuful. Our bedroom was well furnished, spotlessly clean and had a large patio with direct access to the pool. Our biggest gripe was that we kept being told the a la carte restaurants were fully booked. It was only after we complained to the manager that we were squeezed in. Imagine our surprise when we got there and there was only one table in use.

This property is all about the location: beach front, various pool settings, and outdoor dining. The rooms are only satisfactory: no face clothes, only one type of "soap" for everything meaning no shampoo, cream rinse, body wash, hand soap. Toilets barely flush and rooms have minimal "old" furniture. Staff friendliness is a hit and miss scenario. Location has numerous stairs and levels to tackle - no elevator.

Let’s just say I did not imagine taking a shower out of a bucket of water. They claimed to have loss water but the hilton (which is beside) did not. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!I did not get a partial refund

The place has live band during dinner time, front dest and maintenance are ok staff. There was no water for almost all day, no contingency plan. Some servers don’t even smile.

The room was right on the street and very noisy. Asked to switch rooms and was advised there would be a significant extra charge. There was virtually no hot water the entire stay, and there were no hand towels or face cloths. Asked the housekeeper directly about this and she managed to give us a bunch of extra coffee stir sticks! Not sure how that helps, especially since there was only coffee supplies for two cups. Talking to hotel staff at the desk was like talking to the wall.

Property not clean as expected, room don’t clean when you go out and come back no towels , always getting lock out the room key issues . Beach was dirty no beach umbrella like the other resort them like Accra beach and Bouginvilla resort . Few staff very nice but place need to be clean up nicely to keep its name . Rooms are decent especially there bed very comfy going back there is a no no .

We visited recently for my Aunt’s 80th birthday 25 people on 4/16/24. For the price i was totally disappointed, I have been visiting Barbados for over 35 yrs and never had a bad experience until now. I first was put in a standard room when I paid for a suite and an old filthy one with stains on the rug and bed. I had to wait until 6pm while my family enjoyed the beach missing the entire sun in the fun. Finally got to my room and the mattress had holes, towels stained daily, toilet filthy around the bottom, worn out toilet seat in the half bath, make shift repairs painted over holes! I was there 4 days and the same stains never cleaned. I spoke to the manager whom I showed all pictures and still waiting on a call from the GM. All I received was a smile and a sorry when they should have offered me compensation because truly this is the only way corrections are made with profit loss. The property on the outside beautiful will smell so clean in the lobby but the rooms need work and housekeeping needs serious training!!!! Lots of stairs, stairs and stairs not recommended for elderly or people with knee or back issues. I would not recommend this location if you want cleanliness especially for the price.

While the AC in one room worked, the other required five days for maintenance since my check-in on the 24th. Service varied among staff, with some being helpful and friendly, but others in need of an attitude readjustment. The all-inclusive food service lacked diversity, primarily centered around pork, and there was minimal consideration for dietary needs. The daily menu remained unchanged. As an early riser, I faced challenges with the lack of coffee, water, and beverages before 7:30 am or even later. Accessing coffee required climbing five flights of stairs, and it wasn’t promptly available. Surprisingly, the hotel lacked room service, a departure from my experiences in other Caribbean hotels. On a safety note, the floors were excessively slippery; my son, recovering from a football injury, slipped and fell with no assistance available. Overall, while the Savanna Hotel has no merits, improvements are needed in various aspects to enhance guest experience and safety. This is a beautiful hotel. It's a little on the pricey side. It comes with a mini refrigerator and a kettle only. The room is average. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had dinner at Rachel's but it wasn't to my likeness.

Nice sandy beach with lots of sun loungers but limited shade. Sea to rough for bathing but hotels offers free shuttle to another beach for all inclusive guests. The hotel itself is well designed and roomy but needs refurbishment. Some staff were OK but found some surly and a couple downright rude. Basically its a 3* All Inclusive that caters for mass tourism. Luckily we were only there for 2 nights on a B&B basis. Every guest (AI as well) who wants a small bottle of water in their room is charged a ridiculous amount. Luckily we were only there for 2 nights on a B&B basis - breakfast just about acceptable.

The staff was kind and helpful. The property is in a great location. However, it is older and that shows with the condition of many of the external areas and rooms. The food was also just ok. Getting the breakfast buffet then venturing off property for your own lunch and dinner would probably be better than buying the all inclusive. However, the drinks were great and that was also included. Every staff member encountered was very kind.

Staff was unfriendly. One staff at the desk. Took 45 minutes to check in. Asked to check in 15 min early and they said no. Big lineup to check in at 3. Shampoo only in the shower. Food was 5/10. Disappointing stay. We won’t be back.

Cozy hotel with a more secluded beach but the beach has a real ’postcard type view.’ There are stones in the water near the shore, but once you get past them, it is clear. Alternatively, you can walk 10 minutes to the left and find an awesome bay to swim in, or 15 minutes to the right and you are at Pebbles beach. Fantastic hotel with an even more fantastic personal.

Service at beach bar was terrible. There are some problems with 1” worms in our room. The main restaurant served excellent food and the service there was superb. The service personnel are super nice and very helpful and the physical ambience is very attractive.

We had a great stay, the hotel is kind of detached from other properties so it feels very peaceful while being a walking distance away from the boardwalk with restaurants bars live music and main beach with surf jet ski rentals etc

The staff were amazing and helpful, friendly and kind. However, there were very limited food options. We had opted for Breakfast only. The buffet - if you arrived by 9.45 am (closing being 10), there would be hardly anything left. Even the omelette station would not have cheese etc! The beach bar did not serve any snacks, so if lying on beach or swimming, you had no choice. Lunch was buffet in one restaurant (they have several but were never open). We were happy to pay / bring business but just wanted may be sandwiches or some food we could order. Room service was exactly the same. The only food available was what was on buffet!! A beautiful property, under utilised or may be just for all inclusive.

Most staff were absolutely lovely. They were all warm and friendly apart from the person on check in at Rachels who was rude and bossy with cusromers. Pool.complex was beautuful. Our bedroom was well furnished, spotlessly clean and had a large patio with direct access to the pool. Our biggest gripe was that we kept being told the a la carte restaurants were fully booked. It was only after we complained to the manager that we were squeezed in. Imagine our surprise when we got there and there was only one table in use.

The property was very clean but the alcohol hurt my stomach both times I had it. Dining was limited and for late night arrivals there’s not even a vending machine open past 8pm. Staff advised to not walk the streets at night so you might go to bed hungry. The beds only have a single sheet on them no comforters. Good water pressure though unlike Accra.

We went to the beachfront restaurant for food. It was quite late and the kitchen was closing but they kindly kept us a plate of curry each. Then they charged us $100 Canadian for 2 tiny plates of food. Turns out that was the price of the lunch buffet for 2. Except there was no buffet. It was closed. This was never explained to us. We complained and they then agreed to charge us $50 Canadian for 2 small plates of food. each plate cost maybe 2 bucks to produce. I’m happy to pay fair value for somebody’s hard work and talent but I’m so sick of being fleeced by bald faced swindlers.
