Due to our flight we arrived early (around 11) we knew check in wasn't until 3 so decided to hang out and enjoy the bar/pool area. Receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly, stored our luggage for us so we could relax. Enjoyed lunch at the bar area. Very, very friendly lady staffing the area, who made a great lunch. Pool/Garden area is lovely, very clean and well laid out. We hung out there until our room was ready. Room was very clean and well appointed. We were only sorry that our stay was for just one night. We would most definitely return to this hotel for a longer stay. Would highly recommend.

Great stay, would recommend and stay here again. Easy check in and staff were polite and helpful when needed. Room and bathroom were clean and beds were very comfortable. Location is perfect for someone who wants to get around the south/west coast by public transport and very close to a few beaches. Pool is clean and nice with pool chairs available whenever we wanted to use them. Only ate at the restaurant once for breakfast and it was good food.

Basic, reasonably priced accommodation that was exceptionally clean, friendly, safe & perfectly located. The hotel is small & old but everything is well maintained. A short walk to beach & stores plus air conditioning & wifi worked very well. I had several excellent reasonably priced breakfasts by the pool which is maintained well with no pronounced chlorine smell. I am 75 & travelled alone but felt completely safe there. Many neighbours were returnees from previous years so that says something. The only suggestion I would have is that they install grab bars & comfort height toilets as there seemed like a lot of guests were my age.

Great location,amazing staff,very clean hotel that goes above and beyond as far as customer service. The pool area is very nice and they have a bar/restaurant that does VG pizza and rum punch! Definitely recommend the Pirate’s Inn for a stay in Barbados..

The property is well-situated,close to restaurants and the boardwalk. The staff is great,extremely helpful! The hotel is older but very clean,the rooms are quite spacious and the kitchen(while small)is well-equipped. The pool area is nice and they do a happy hour from noon to 1PM every day. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch and is quite good. Overall a really great value,and the proximity to everything is the biggest factor,as well as the friendly and helpful staff.

The property is always clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating. This is a very relaxing place. We were disappointed the bar and restaurant were not open. We always looked forward to the Happy Hour to get to know staff and other quest better - but not this year. Happy to hear the deck area around the pool was going to get some much needed TLC.

I couldn't believe there was no water and toothpaste in my room. The stove you have to lite it with matches but i didn't take the chance. The counter area was full of ants,which was so scary.

It was very clean and the cleaning lady cleaned everyday , I didn't like the bed because they have a gap in between and I wanted a double bed , I precised that at the end of my stay I told them and they said they can set it up like that so I'll know for next time

We loved the room. Very spacious with a full kitchen, dining room and living room areas. Very modern, quiet, comfortable, clean and lots of tv channels to select from. There was a king sized bed in the room and air conditioning throughout worked well. Loved the mint smell when we first entered the room. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located close to the beach and a main road. There are a lot of restaurants and shops in the area and a bus stop nearby to travel around the island. The reception staff are very helpful. The front desk is open until 6 pm and after that there is only a security person in charge. The hotel has a nice courtyard with pool. The room is spacious, but it does not have balcony and the window is facing a wall. The furniture in the room is quite old and damaged. The bed is comfortable. There is no shampoo in the bathroom. The free Wi-Fi connection is very good. There are many available cable TV channels, including HBO.

The location is nice, easy walk to some restaurants and shops. Pool is nice. The rooms are pretty old. It was clean, but very outdated. It was fine for 1 night, but I wouldn't stay longer. We asked for a late checkout (1pm) and were told "no", although hotel was really half empty.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The whole stay I have been without hot water in the shower no matter the time of day in use but otherwise I definitely recommend. It’s also in a great location

The side street entrance looked sketchy, but we were pleasantly surprised at the nice decore, beautiful tropical plants and rooms overlooking the pool. The room was more a studio apartment with a patio and lovely wrought iron grillwork. I greatly appreciated the AC remote control! I swam most days and enjoyed the wonderful selection of coffee table books about Barbados history, art and culture. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Also, a mall next door and a boardwalk were pleasant surprises!

Didnt get off to the best start, as the transfer the hotel arranged from the airport didnt arrive. Apparently the driver had had an emergency. Got a cab from outside the terminal for US$35 which was fine. Also, when we arrived, the fridge/freezer wasnt working. Someone came to look at it the next morning and sorted it out. The room was functional but clean and suitable for our needs for two nights. After the initial hiccups, the staff checked to see if we were ok on three different occasions, and gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate my birthday which was a nice touch. Overall, the staff were really friendly and really tried to make our stay enjoyable. Thanks to everyone!

This was our 5th stay at the pirates inn . We love that it’s small and intimate It’s well cared for and meets all our needs The staff are excellent and take great care of the guests It’s located close to stores markets restaurants and beaches all in walking distance. Easy to access buses and taxis

Lovely staff. Prefect location literally across from the beach. My toddlers first time in Barbados and he loved it. I literally watched him teach himself to run as a way to get to the pool quicker. 5 stars!

The INN is tucked away on a side street directly across from the Boardwalk, beach and the sea. It backs up to a Mall (that you cannot see from the property) with lots of shops & some good eateries, and despite its proximity to the Boardwalk, beach & mall, it has a nice setting. It also has a very good pool & breakfast/lunch options. The rooms are spacious & although the property is old, it is bright and clean; lots of closet space. A really good value for the $$. The Staff are very helpful and really nice.

It backs up to a Mall (that you cannot see from the property) with lots of shops & some good eateries, and despite its proximity to the Boardwalk, beach & mall, it has a nice setting. It also has a very good pool & breakfast/lunch options. The rooms are spacious & although the property is old, it is bright and clean; lots of closet space. A really good value for the $$. The Staff are very helpful and really nice.

The side street entrance looked sketchy, but we were pleasantly surprised at the nice decore, beautiful tropical plants and rooms overlooking the pool. The room was more a studio apartment with a patio and lovely wrought iron grillwork. I greatly appreciated the AC remote control! I swam most days and enjoyed the wonderful selection of coffee table books about Barbados history, art and culture. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Also, a mall next door and a boardwalk were pleasant surprises!

We also stayed a few nights at St Lawrence gap, which is a 100% touristic place. Next visit I would be back at Pirates inn. Friendly and relaxed place with a nice swimming pool. The breakfast is a bit expensive, with so so quality.

What a hidden little gem! Refreshing pool, friendly staff, comfy king bed, great location close to so many wonderful dining options and shopping. We spent 8 days relaxing on the plentiful loungers. We chose a walkout patio room and it was perfect for us, ground floor, steps to the pool. We are returning in 6 months.

Friendly and helpful staff. Bit dated and could use some repairs. So convenient for shopping, beach, transit and a lot of restaurant options close by. Only disappointment was their catering order was more important than getting breakfast served in a timely manner for their paying guests. I would recommend if your stay is not to spend in hotel but enjoy where you are.

The staff members were very friendly. There was a few nights when the Internet was down and the breakfast bar was under construction during my stay. Sometimes there wasn't enough hot water. However, overall it has everything you need - a pool, a clean room, and your own little kitchen.

Great stay, would recommend and stay here again. Easy check in and staff were polite and helpful when needed. Room and bathroom were clean and beds were very comfortable. Location is perfect for someone who wants to get around the south/west coast by public transport and very close to a few beaches. Pool is clean and nice with pool chairs available whenever we wanted to use them. Only ate at the restaurant once for breakfast and it was good food.

The property is always clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating. This is a very relaxing place. We were disappointed the bar and restaurant were not open. We always looked forward to the Happy Hour to get to know staff and other quest better - but not this year. Happy to hear the deck area around the pool was going to get some much needed TLC.
