Fantastic room with fabulous views! Although there’s no onsite reception, The First team were very responsive and even helped us with a discount for Via Dell’Amore. They also provided lots of helpful information about the area and gave us special treatment at their restaurant, La Regina. The minibar and water are chargeable, but all the details are clearly displayed. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return!

Great location and views. Be sure to bring your own water bottles and coffee or be prepared to pay for in room amenities. Walk from nearby parking was very convenient and room was very clean. Bring a flashlight as walkway up to room even during the day has insufficient lighting.

Take note that the ad says stay in Riomaggiore but the room is in Manarola. So make sure you have the location and directions so you know where to go!! You also need to get room entry instructions from the host via WhatsApp. Ensure you have this ready as you do your check in because there is no staff at the location to assist you to get in. Room we stayed in was very nice and clean. There is a great restaurant Trattoria Billy which is only a 2 minute walk from the room. They are excellent!!

Loved the view, the cleanliness of the room. I would have liked a small fridge to store some food that we bought, instead if a small fridge full of drinks to purchase. Also the website says the hotel is located in Riomaggiore when it is in Manarola - caused confusion.

The room and area were fantastic, however, a few things knocked the stars down. First is that the place is quite a walk from the train station with luggage, and was not easy to find. Second, there is no elevator to get your luggage up to the room, so after you are exhausted from making your way from the train station, you also have to haul your luggage up to the room. Third, it wasn't immediately obvious that there was a retractable screen in the bathroom for privacy, so there were some awkward family moments until it was discovered that some obscure little remotes raised and lowered a screen to mask the bathroom. :D The view from the room is AMAZING, and check-in was very easy, with an online process and then picking up the key from a lock box.

There were a lot of stairs with luggage but we managed. Loved the patios and the views were breathtaking. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was amazing.

This property is difficult to find, almost impossible to open the door (the lock doesn’t work properly) and there’s nobody on site to help if you need it. The room was partially clean (white powder on surfaces) and needed some maintenance (disappointing for the extravagant price). We booked the honeymoon suite and there was a lot of black mold in the ceiling. There was water damage in the ceiling and bathroom. The bathrobe was ripped, there wasn’t enough toilet paper for our stay, everything in the room is for an extra charge. That being said, the linens were comfortable and the view was absolutely stunning!! Really, you are paying for the view. Bottom line… it’s beautiful, but only stay here if you’re fit (it’s a climb to get there) and patient (it’s hard to get in!).

The property by far has the best views in town. The walk to get there is tougher than you’d think lugging baggage but well worth it. Bathroom and bedroom could use some bleach to get rid of some minor mold but it’s a great place! Host was fantastic.

Simplesmente apaixonante! Meu quarto tinha uma pequena sacada com uma vista espetacular. Assistimos o por do sol todos os dias por lá. Café da manhã vem no quarto e tomávamos na sacada com a vista. E a noite a lua marcava presença tb na sacada. Não queria vir embora. Check in e check out fácil e rápido através das instruções do Enrico via whatsapp. Tudo muito confortável, moderno, limpo.

This room was amazing! Check in was easy and following the instructions got us to the property. The staff was available via WhatsApp messaging and answers all questions promptly. The view was 10000/10. It was the best part. Beyond stunning. Perfect for sunset! The room looked exactly like the photos online and was clean and well stocked. Cost of snacks, drinks, robes, and soap was clearly marked.

The terrace is very large and the best view in Manarola, and the breakfast is very nice. The room is small, it's odd to have a bathroom with a toilet open to the rest of the room (glass partition), and there were small ants everywhere. We arrived on a hot day in late April and the heat radiator was on, it took some time for confusing instructions from staff via what's app texts to turn it off and although AC is advertised it is not turned on until sometime in May. It's like an airbnb in that there is no on-site staff and it's in an apt bldg, yet it's like a hotel in that they charge for coffee, water, etc. that is in the room.

The view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. Well worth the walk up the steep hill. The bed is super comfortable and the balcony is the best thing ever. On the downside, the shower is extremely small and very slippery to get out of, given that water sprays all over the entrance. The wifi is very patchy when sitting on the balcony but is good inside the room.

The balcony shown was not the one on our property. The room itself was shabby with broken things and generally needed decorating. The door didn’t open using the card as instructed, possibly as the entry panel was smashed. Lights on one side of the bed didn’t work. The proprietor left coffee machine and drinks / snacks. While it’s standard to pay for mini bar items, they charged for water and coffee pods which felt tight given the cost of the room.

Vi gjorde två misstag. Trodde alla rum hade utsikt men det hade vi inte. Vår utsikt var mot en liten bakgård. Sen tog vi fel väg upp till hotellet när vi kom. Hundra trappor! Det finns en annan väg upp som var mycket bättre. Hotellet är supermysigt men trist att inte ha terrass eller balkong så att man kan njuta av den fantastiska utsikten. Supersköna sängar! Lite utmanande kranar i duschen.

I stayed at “Camera Deluxe, vista montagna” room. The picture is misleading because the window view is to another house and not the view in the picture at all. Also, the main picture of property (with the balcony view is available only to the balcony room and it’s also misleading). I booked 3H before arrival, and missed the instruction to contact 24H before. At arrival I tried to contact them but they publish wrong number in the property information and didn’t answer to internal message. But customer support was helpful. The room was clean, comfort and has a luxurious atmosphere like the rest of the photos. Except check-in problem and the view it was a good experience.

My husband and I booked the honeymoon suite and were blown away by the incredible views from our private terrace. It was the perfect getaway and wish we stayed more than two nights because it really was so beautiful and relaxing.

Starkt önskvärt är bagage-service från stationen upp till hotellrummet (mot avgift). Det var en huvudvärk att ta sig upp med alla tunga väskor. Oaktat utsikten och terrassen kommer vi inte att återvända.

Fantastic room with fabulous views! Although there’s no onsite reception, The First team were very responsive and even helped us with a discount for Via Dell’Amore. They also provided lots of helpful information about the area and gave us special treatment at their restaurant, La Regina. The minibar and water are chargeable, but all the details are clearly displayed. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return!

Don’t stay here!!! This place had good reviews on this site but I should’ve looked at Google. Incredibly terrible customer service at this place that has good potential. This isn’t a real hotel. The staff communicated via WhatsApp which is fine. They sent me instructions on how to check in. However, it wasn’t very clear on how to actually get to the place itself. The check-in process was a nightmare and the staff was incredibly rude. There is no lobby or staff that work physically on the property. We booked through Orbitz. Received a message the day prior asking for our contact information so we could receive the check-in code to get our room keys. I responded through Orbitz as there was no other email provided. I never heard back, so for several hours prior to our arrival I tried to call, no less than 5 times. We were placed on hold for > 10 minutes at a time, then the call would drop. Got to the property could not get into our room, no staff was there, tried calling again with no success. Called Orbitz, who also struggled to get in touch with anyone for > 20 minutes. Finally they were able to get in touch with someone who was so rude, yelled at the Orbitz agent and then hung up the phone. Orbitz called to offer to cancel our reservation and help us find new accommodations. While they were searching for other hotels, I finally received a phone call from the hotel. The gentleman, who would not give me his name despite my asking, was exceptionally rude to me. I explained we had been trying to reach him for quite some time. He told me "stop being hysterical, that's my problem, not his." He went on to tell me that he "doesn't care if we had to end up sleeping on the streets." We were finally able to get in after multiple more phone calls and texts, but I was so disappointed with their customer service.

I stayed at “Camera Deluxe, vista montagna” room. The picture is misleading because the window view is to another house and not the view in the picture at all. Also, the main picture of property (with the balcony view is available only to the balcony room and it’s also misleading). At arrival I tried to contact them but they publish wrong number in the property information and didn’t answer to internal message. But customer support was helpful. Second, there is no elevator to get your luggage up to the room, so after you are exhausted from making your way from the train station, you also have to haul your luggage up to the room. Million dollar view. Pay very close attention to directions and location. And, if you do not want to carry or pull bags up and down hills and up and down MANY flights of stairs either hire the baggage service or stay somewhere else. That said, once you get to the room, you will not be disappointed. Room 212 offers a beautiful view and is down the hill from the train station the quaint town of Manarola. The property is in Manarola, not Riomaggiore. Riomaggiore is one train stop away. We personally thought Manarola was more quiet and quaint than Riomaggiore so were happy about the location. Again, only challenge with this property is accessibility. As long as you have a plan in advance, it will not be an issue.

The property was beautiful, it was the most amazing view and most comfortable stay we had in our trip to Italy. The walk to the hotel is worth it. Keep in mind that if you stay during Orange weather warning period all shops close so you will need to find food in another city. That said this place is still worth it !

The terrace is very large and the best view in Manarola, and the breakfast is very nice. The room is small, it's odd to have a bathroom with a toilet open to the rest of the room (glass partition), and there were small ants everywhere. We arrived on a hot day in late April and the heat radiator was on, it took some time for confusing instructions from staff via what's app texts to turn it off and although AC is advertised it is not turned on until sometime in May. It's like an airbnb in that there is no on-site staff and it's in an apt bldg, yet it's like a hotel in that they charge for coffee, water, etc. that is in the room.

Nossa estadia ocorreu em quarto com vista, com sacada, foi fundamental para a experiência. Adoramos degustar pizza e vinho na sacada, com o lindo pôr do sol... foi mágico, e encerrou com chave de ouro nossa viagem. Mas vale ressaltar que o melhor é evitar levar malas grandes, pois é necessário subir muitas escadas até chegar ao apartamento. Deixamos malas maiores em locker na estação La Spezia Centrale antes de seguirmos até Manarola.
Nossa estadia ocorreu em quarto com vista, com sacada, foi fundamental para a experiência. Adoramos degustar pizza e vinho na sacada, com o lindo pôr do sol... foi mágico, e encerrou com chave de ouro nossa viagem. Mas vale ressaltar que o melhor é evitar levar malas grandes, pois é necessário subir muitas escadas até chegar ao apartamento. Deixamos malas maiores em locker na estação La Spezia Centrale antes de seguirmos até Manarola.

DO NOT FALL FOR THE PICTURES ! The place was under Reno’s, and never informed, no lights at the dark hall entrances, never saw a person/ staff in the 3 days. Could not get a clean towel. They would never respond to messages for me or Expedia and then Expedia basically said “we tried contacting them too , oh well” The bathroom in our suite had no privacy. Had to go out to the balcony of someone needed to “go”. Glass door and window with drop down shades, living gaps and no privacy. We were a family of 4, and could not step out without a buddy system due to the dark halls, it was so dangerous.
