Scandia Motel

Stedet virket gammelt og slitt, samt mye "slitne" overnattingsgjester. Senga var veldig god. Det var rengjort men ikke tilfredsstillende, fant bl.a penger etter tidligere gjester på gulvet. Greit for å sove før videre, ikke en plass å bo på over tid.

I love this hotel the staff is great the property is well maintained the rooms are clean

I specifically asked if the room was going to be noisy the woman at desk assured me that it would not be noisy. The room was supposed to be a non smoking room but the cigarette smell was so prominent that I had a headache and couldn’t sleep. So between the cigarette smell and the noise from the street, I give this hotel 1 star. I know that it has a 2 star rating but that should not justify being lied to.

Room was clean. Plenty of hot water.

The stay was disappointing overall due to basic cleanliness and preparation issues. The room appeared unfinished, with areas that clearly needed fresh paint, which made the space feel neglected rather than maintained. Upon arrival, there were not enough towels provided for two guests, which is a simple detail that should be standard. More concerning was the lack of proper cleaning. There was leftover trash from previous guests found behind the mattress, which raises questions about how thoroughly the room is cleaned between stays. That’s not something guests should have to deal with.
