Nice boutique hotel with large rooms and a small kitchenette. Staff are super friendly. The city centre and Kumamoto Castle are just a few minutes away by foot and there is plenty of parking options next to the hotel. Rooms are equipped with a washing machine but no dryer, which is surprising, If you have quite a bit of clothes to wash, like we did (4 pax), there is a laundromat just 2 minutes away where you can dry your clothes after washing them in the room. Another surprise is that here is no cupboard to hang any clothes and no daytime curtains (only black-out curtains). There is no breakfast buffet but you can pay for coffee and a small breakfast selection at the reception area. Otherwise, there’s a 7Eleven just across the street where you can find plenty of breakfast options.

已經第二次入住Fav, 房間乾淨寬闊，廚房位置較為細，但工具齊全。沒有衣櫃，掛衣服較不便，其他都很好。做了pre check in, check in 手續很快完成。酒店只有三個泊位及一傷健泊位，去到已滿，但隔離泊停車場只是800 日元全日泊，比酒店車場平接近一半，建議多行幾步。

I had a great stay at Fav Kumamoto. I arrived earlier than the standard check-in time (around 1 PM) and didn’t expect the room to be ready yet, but the staff kindly checked and let me know it was available. I really appreciated their helpfulness and flexibility. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. It had all the basic necessities—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap—which made the stay very convenient. There was also a laundry machine with detergent included. While there wasn’t a traditional dryer, the bathroom had a heated fan option that worked surprisingly well for drying clothes. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient stay. I’d definitely consider coming back!

Not as nice as picture. We had the ground level room, and not very clean. Clumbs and hair stuck in the gap between bed and wall. Breakfast is just yoghurt or egg sandwich, abit disappointed. Handy to have kitchenette and washing machine though.

Just like many other reviews have mentioned that this is a very minimalist hotel. There is limited staff at this location and so if you are just staying for one night, it is probably ok. But for longer stay, you probably want to look into a more traditional full service hotel. Also, the AC in our room and just when we were about to check out, our AC unit starts dripping water and almost got our luggage wet :-(

It was very nice and calm, but the room temperature was a bit cold because the air conditioning was not strong enough. Also, one thing I wondered about was that I stayed for four nights, but they cleaned the room on the third night. It would have been better if they had cleaned it on the second night instead of the third. especially they are all kindly person that makes me happy.

바로 앞에 주차장이 있어서 렌트카 여행 시 편리하고 사쿠라마치와도 걸어서 10분으로 가깝습니다. 차 대놓고 밥 먹고 술 한잔 하기도 좋아요. 숙소도 전체적으로 깔끔했습니다. 다만 연박으로 5명이 한방에 머물렀는데 타올을 추가로 요구했더니 방에 있는 세탁기로 빨아서 쓰라고 하더라구요. 꼭 예약하실 때 타올 더 주는지 확인하시고 하세요

The hotel looks quite new with modern design. The rooms are big with plenty of rooms to open your luggage, clean bathroom and toilet, and comfortable bed. There are also multiple paid parking slots in front/ next to the hotel. It’s in walkable distance to the Kumamoto castle. Would stay here again if we come to Kumamoto.
