The place was horrible. We had to park two blocks away. The elevator was broken, the pillows were stained as well as the furniture. It was fo bad we left and found another hotel eventhough we had paid for this awful places.

If you are travelling with a heavy luggage, avoid this hotel. Their lift is not working for months. They don't have any plans to repair this.

Lift was helaas defect wat reizen met een zware koffer en last van een knie niet leuker maakt. Matras aan 1 kant versleten Bankje in de kamer oud en net wat te vaak gerepareerd Maar, prijs was laag dus mag er ook niet te veel van verwachten Kamer was schoon, ontbijt niet erg luxe maar vers en goed. Voor de prijs goed te doen

This place was under construction very noisy. Would have been nice if hotels.com had notified us of this and given us an option to change hotels. Very hot in the room had no view only of a fire escape with bird crap all over it. Elevator was out of order the dining room\bar was closed not a very nice hotel

Hotel in a very bad location, I didn't feel safe walking around the neighbourhood at night, people were constantly staring at us. I saw people looking out to identify approaching police. The hotel also doesn't have a car park, so if you arrive late you have to walk back to the hotel because you need to find a car park nearby. The hotel in general is very old, the room is very old, the blankets are extremely small for an adult, they don't seem to be 100% clean.

Room not the cleanest. Toothbrush left behind. Elevator not working for 2 months already. Receptionist said it wont get fixed until 2026. No staff to help bring the luggages. Guests have to bring their own luggages.

Das Hotel liegt in sehr zentraler Lage, direkt am Bahnhof. Es hat sehr schöne, große Zimmer. Die Zimmer zum Hof sind absolut ruhig, man kann mit offenem Fenster schlafen. Personal sehr freundlich. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Absolut zu empfehlen.

The hotel was fine, clean basic accommodation. The lady who checked me in was very nice. My problem was I had to leave very early (~04:30) for an early flight. I came down to the well-lit lobby to check out and there was no one at the desk, though a coat was on the chair. I called out hello several times without response. Meanwhile a homeless person outside had noticed me and started rapping on the window and speaking what sounded like gibberish and then rang the bell for the main entrance. I thought that might at least get the attention of the porter. No luck. Fortunately, after a couple of minutes the person outside lost interest and wandered away. I made my exit passing several other people sleeping outside and made the short walk to the Bahnhof without incident.

Ich hatte schon keine hohen Erwartungen an das Hotel, aber trotzdem war ich etwas enttäuscht. In meinem Zimmer funktioniert weder der Fernseher noch die Nachtischlampe. Es gab zwar einen Kühlschrank der aber auch nicht funktionierte. Wäre bei 35° Grad ganz nett gewesen. Auch ein Ventilator wäre gut gewesen, da man die Fenster nicht öffnen konnte, aufgrund des hohen Lärmpegels auf der Straße. ( Martinshörner, Geschrei, Straßenbahn und vieles mehr ) Das Frühstück war mehr als mager. Als Plus muss ich das Zimmerpersonal bewerten, die Reinlichkeit war makellos.

I have stayed here a couple of times before and greatly enjoyed the older but very good condition of the property (except the elevator that doesn’t work). This time, however, we were put in a room that could only be called shabby….the rug, the curtains, and the table in particular, were just that. The bed was comfortable. Everything including the bathroom was clean, the halls and downstairs fine. It still is very convenient to the main train station.

Unable to check in till 7pm due to a tecnical glitch, elevator did not work and had 2 steep flights of steps to negotiate with a bad knee. Staff did help with luggage. Front desk staff very off hand . Would not stay here again.

Elevator broke down not fixed (at least during our 3nts 4day stay), we had to drag and carry our luggage upstairs and downstairs, luckily a young guest helped us carry the luggage downstairs during checkout. No coffee maker nor water kettle or telephone in room. Room temperature couldn't be adjusted , when we complained about the temperature was too cold at night to the front desk, the response we received from the male receptionist was: "the house keeping will clean your room in 2 hours" . Everyday we went downstairs passing by the front desk, we greeted the front desk receptionist"good morning " as our usual tradition but only received a cold face staring at us. The time we checked out, we were left unattended for exactly 10 minutes, no one was ahead of us. That receptionist was just doing his own chore and let us waiting. Imaging if you were in a hurry trying to catch a train that was about to leave?!! The only smile we received was from a lady receptionist at the time we checked in. We miss her very much!

Location - convenient location when you use Frankfurt main station. However, the area doesn’t seem very safe. Hotel facilities - very poor. Elevator wasn’t working, hair dryer in the room was broken. I asked one of the staff to borrow portable hair dryer and he said he was going to give to us within 2 hours but he never came. I was almost catching a cold with my wet hair. With these poor facilities and price was not cheap. We don’t want to come back to stay here again.

Wir sind im Centro Hotel untergekommem, da wir einen Tag vor unserem Flug nach einer Möglichkeit zum Schlafen gesucht haben. Wir sind an einem Samstag sehr spät (23 Uhr) angereist. Die Gegend rund umzu am Bahnhof gleicht einer Partymeile, wo auf einem Samstagabend natürlich der Bär los war. Es war dreckig und viele Betrunkene Leute liefen herum. Was uns etwas "erschreckt" hat, war, dass vor dem Hotel mehrere Obdachlose dies als Schlafplatz genutzt haben. Diese waren nicht auffällig, aber alles in allem doch unangenehm, vor allem weil wir morgens um 5.30 Uhr das Hotel wieder verlassen haben. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. An jeder Ecke war irgendwas, was renoviert werden müsste. Unser Zimmer war klein, aber sauber und ausreichend. Die Badewanne mit Dusche war sehr klein und eng und der Duschvorhang fleckig und klebte einem aufgrund der Enge auch gerne mal irgendwo am Körper. Das Hotel liegt an einer vielfach befahrenen Strasse, die, in Kombination mit dem Umfeld, zu einer erheblichen Geräuschkulisse gesorgt hat und auch spät in der Nacht nicht besser wurde. Wir haben kein Frühstück genutzt. Das Hotel würden wir nicht wieder buchen: Zu laut, zu üble Gegend, zu alt.

Staff at the property were great. Has a restaurant on site, good wifi, lift was working, easy check in, walk 3 minutes to train station, room size was good. Rate I got was good but the location was a major issue especially after dark. Hotel itself is very old, carpet in room was stained, paint chipped, temperature in room was difficult to adjust. Not in the hotels control but the area around the hotel is not good. Open drug use and dealing, homeless, pee smell all over. A few blocks away is much much better.

Hotel in a very bad location, I didn't feel safe walking around the neighbourhood at night, people were constantly staring at us. I saw people looking out to identify approaching police. The hotel also doesn't have a car park, so if you arrive late you have to walk back to the hotel because you need to find a car park nearby. The hotel in general is very old, the room is very old, the blankets are extremely small for an adult, they don't seem to be 100% clean.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit. Der Teppich im Zimmer ist alt, sieht nicht gerade hygienisch aus. War auch vom Geruch her schlecht. Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Lage ist auch gut. Generell ein schönes altes Gebäude, doch etwas renovierungsbedürftig. D

Lift was helaas defect wat reizen met een zware koffer en last van een knie niet leuker maakt. Matras aan 1 kant versleten Bankje in de kamer oud en net wat te vaak gerepareerd Maar, prijs was laag dus mag er ook niet te veel van verwachten Kamer was schoon, ontbijt niet erg luxe maar vers en goed. Voor de prijs goed te doen

The elevator in the hotel was out of order for our 7-night stay. The refrigerator in my room did not work. The hotel did not have air conditioning. We could open the windows, but there were no screens, so the mosquitoes came in. Trying to sleep while swatting at mosquitos does not make for a good night’s sleep. When we booked the hotel, we wanted breakfast to be included. When we got there, we found this meant that breakfast was available for a fee. The hotel was not in a desirable part of Frankfurt. The bathroom was small but adequate. The hotel was clean, and the room was taken care of every day.

In the past I’ve said this place was a Diamond in the Rough, but no more. I’ve stayed here for the past twenty years and boasted about it to my friends because of the price and the wonderful breakfast and in room coffee. Now 12/2022 the staff is unprofessional ,there is no more breakfasts, no in room coffee, bums sleep out front and poop; graffiti everywhere, gum and broken bottles scatter the sidewalk right in front of the entry. This place must have changed ownership because this place is a dump. Their neon sign out front is even missing light bulbs. I will never book or recommend this place to anyone ever. Rooms: at least the bed was comfortable and clean. Toilet ran all night long,grease on the carpets, I can go on but don’t want to waste my vacation anymore on this declining hotel. It’s really kind of sad to see.

I had an issue with heating in the room (it was too cold) despite turning heating knob to the max, radiators didn't heat up. When i informed the hotel staff, the guy came fiddled with the radiators, and told me that it should heat up now. It never did. No breakfast option at the hotel. Quilts are too small (despite having a king size bed), they provided only 2 single sized quilts.
