This hotel was amazing! Great service, amazing restaurant, the most awesome view from our room (valley view). The personnel was very, very helpful with all of our requests, and the restaurant staff was amazing. Everything was great! The privately-bookable mini spa with jacuzzis and infrared saunas was especially great, with awesome views.

Perfect location for the two big hiking trailheads and some of the best restaurants in El Chalten. The views from the lounge and restaurant are incredible. The spa is really nice (and free) and was the perfect ending to a long day of hiking. It’s the best hotel in town.

However, the breakfast options for vegans were quite limited, and the spa did not meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel. While the living space upstairs was comfortable, we noticed that the game area hadn't been dusted in quite some time, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the town of Chaltén itself is absolutely charming. This hotel is such a gem! We loved the sleek cabin style design of the hotel and cozy rooms. We were on the 2nd floor and had a great view of the valley. The staff was so lovely and made sure my family and I (toddler included) had everything we needed. They also had a staff member on hand every evening to help us plan and coordinate our day hikes in the area. At the end of each day, it was nice to take a plunge in the hot tub and enjoy the sauna (by reservation). Overall the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. If I’m lucky enough to make it back to El Chalten, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

However, I noticed there is no AC so that would be a concern for me in warmer weather. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

Us and some friends stayed in December 2024, we both had a great stay. Rooms very comfortable, great condition, clean, and the views from the rooms are STUPENDOUS! Prices might be a little high for El Chalten maybe, but the breakfast spread was pretty extensive and included with your room price and again, the views are better than probably any place we have ever stayed at. BTW- the restaurant in the hotel, very solid, the Carpacio appetizer was to die for!! We did that two nights in a row, AMAZING. This stay was a bit of a splurge for us, but well, well, worth it.

Absolutely stunning views from the room and the lobby area. Extremely helpful staff, fluent in English. We were able to book taxis to trailheads with the property and borrow hiking poles. Breakfast was fantastic, and perfect before heading out for hikes as it started at 6:30 am. Beds were comfy, and rooms had huge windows for viewing scenery

Beautiful property with easy access to main hiking trails. Our room had the view of Fitz Roys and the village. Picture perfect. We did some research on hikes before arriving but really appreciated that they had a very knowledgeable Concierge (Nacho) on staff. He helped us plan our hikes for the day. Excellent masseuse. She knew what to so with people dealing with sciatica pain. Food was good. The only complaint is that we couldn’t control the room temperature. It got too hot for us at night but we couldn’t open the window due to fierce wind. Enjoy the stay and we definitely will recommend this place to our friends.

The hotel was beautiful! Right in the center of town so walkable to everything although uphill which is what gives you the great view of the mountains and city from the hotel. Easy parking. Staff was super helpful and made hiking suggestions and showed them on a map. They upgraded our room and we had an amazing view from the bed! Room was thoughtfully laid out with a large bathroom. Breakfast was included and was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location, food was great .. do not fall for Mountain View rooms .. those actually face a wall.. take city view .. we stayed 3 nights and requested them to provide room with better view and despite them having rooms they didn’t give us ..

This was our favourite hotel of our whole Patagonia trip. We booked a premium room with mountain view which - the photos do not do justice to how nice the rooms are. Lovely large layout with beautiful views over the town and mountains. Attentive staff and just a lovely wxperyall round. Breakfast was amazing and they can make lunches for you too. We had one complimentary evening meal which was delicious. Great location with views and we could walk straight onto the trails from the hotel.

The guide, Ignacio, who was there daily in the evenings, was particularly helpful in route planning hikes. The room was comfortable, great sheets on the bed. The restaurant is excellent for dinner, and breakfasts were delicious. We loved our stay.

Los Cerros is an excellent hotel. Their entire staff is extremely friendly. Front desk could not be more helpful, bar tenders make amazing drinks, and servers are extremely polite. Ignacio can be found on the grounds to help you plan your hikes reviewing maps and weather forecasts with you. The kitchen staff is doing amazing things, every meal I had here was incredible. The hotel itself is beautiful, amazing views of town, the river, and the mountains. We throughly enjoyed our stay and I did not want to leave! Los Cerros is an excellent hotel. Their entire staff is extremely friendly. Front desk could not be more helpful, bar tenders make amazing drinks, and servers are extremely polite. Ignacio can be found on the grounds to help you plan your hikes reviewing maps and weather forecasts with you. The kitchen staff is doing amazing things, every meal I had here was incredible. The hotel itself is beautiful, amazing views of town, the river, and the mountains. We throughly enjoyed our stay and I did not want to leave! We also enjoyed the spa and massages which were very relaxing. Overall I feel this hotel goes above and beyond for their guests everyday. If you are between hotels I cannot recommend Los Cerros enough.

The staff was exceptional. They helped with several pre-trip questions. They were very friendly and nice - the check in process was excellent. The airline lost our luggage and they volunteered a couple of trekking poles that were a big help on our 15 mile hike the first day. The food was good and the view was excellent.

As a solo female hiker, I came to El Chalten with the intention of having a luxury cabin life experience so that I could relax and take care of my body after strenuous hikes. I got that and so much more, with Los Cerros del Chalten exceeding all my expectations. My best impression of the value of hotel was the 5 star guest service: I had developed toenail injury post Big ice trek in Perito Moreno, and also got travellers disease, which took me out for two days. I felt so taken care of by Valentina, who gave me emergency meds and checked in on my health, Candela, who situated me in El Chalten and gave me great trail directions, and Flor, who made excellent recommendations for me to go to Huemul reserve and also accomodated those changes when I fell ill. My room was great, I had a wonderful view of the valley and could see when conditions were clear for heading to the trails. I loved the comforts of dining on site especially. The buffet service every morning was mouth-watering and healthy. The hotel is also within walking distance of the pharmacy, souvenir shops, trailheads (1km to Senda Fitz Roy entrance), and many restos. I especially loved how they served free flowing fruits, pastries and smoothies every day at the lobby - this was super convenience for guests in summer. Highly recommend.

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay at this hotel, easy 5 stars. The staff was friendly and took great care of our two young kids and made sure our needs were met. Our baby had a medical issue and they offered to go with us to the doctor - first class service in every way. The recommendations for hiking were super helpful and the food was some of the very best we had in all of Argentina. Highly recommend and we will no doubt return to stay here next time we are in the area.

Los Cerros was one of the best parts of our honeymoon in Patagonia. The staff are kind, attentive, and full of great recommendations. The location is excellent, and the view is unreal. We were so sad to leave and hope to come back.

The hotel was beautiful! Right in the center of town so walkable to everything although uphill which is what gives you the great view of the mountains and city from the hotel. Easy parking. Staff was super helpful and made hiking suggestions and showed them on a map. They upgraded our room and we had an amazing view from the bed! Room was thoughtfully laid out with a large bathroom. Breakfast was included and was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location for the two big hiking trailheads and some of the best restaurants in El Chalten. The views from the lounge and restaurant are incredible. The spa is really nice (and free) and was the perfect ending to a long day of hiking. It’s the best hotel in town.

Could walk to start several excellent hikes, right from the hotel. Easy walk to many restaurants in town. Fabulous ambulance, very helpful staff. In addition, they had a guide. Breakfast was good. You could ask for all kind of eegs and if what a double expresso, you got it. The staff was super friendly, securing you had a wonderfull stay. And the dinner was amazing good and with a customer focussesd served. But i woud like to thank the whole staff for our wonderfull stay. If we return to El Chalten we return to this hotel.

This place is pretty upscale and nicer than many of hotels I've stayed at. It's super close to the Laguna trailheads and the rooms have good views of the town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The free breakfast and onsite restaurant were really good and made it really convenient to fuel up around long days of hiking. If you're not hiking, they have really nice lounge areas and open seating areas. At the time of my stay, one of the restaurant staff played live jazz with his band and they had a local trail expert giving hiking tips at the bar. Would definitely come back to stay here again.

I couldn’t understand why this hotel was so expensive, but after staying here I understand the hype and the reviews. Unbelievably beautiful hotel with the best breakfast options I’ve seen and plenty of complimentary items!
