Hotel had 2 elevators but only 1 was in service the whole 3 nights we were there. The hotel has 6 floors and guests were complaining that it takes too long to get in and out of the building because of only 1 elevator working.

Parking lot being only 1/4;available because of work being done and not mentioned on the website was a complete disregard for customers needs... no notice on the booking site either. Seems to me like an issue that should be adressed before booking with some sort of incentive given, like hey sorry all 35 available spots are full even though you brought a truck and trailer combo over 50 feet long... please park if you can and have a free dinner on us... thats the reasonable response to the situation...

Nice clean hotel and it was quiet, even though our room was very close to elevator and looked out over Hwy 401 which is always busy. Nice warm pool - although a bit small - was great with ample towels. Only complaint was only one elevator working - in seeing some past reviews before booking, that seemed to be a problem for quite some time and still not rectified. Note, not basing review on restaurant but although some entrees were decent, was not great for kids and ended up being ridiculously expensive - $9 for a bowl of ice cream for my 8-year old grand-daughter. tiny bowl of plain pasta charged at $22?

Came with kids to use pool and the furniture is in terrible condition, there were 3 towels all of which looked like old bath mats. The pool decking was dirty including someone’s dental floss stick and hair everywhere. Most of the gym equipment didn’t work probably. The room was good but for the price I paid for a suite I would’ve at least expected breakfast to be included. Very disappointing for a Hilton.

Easily accessible from Hwy 401. Malls and restaurants with 2KM. Staff extremely professional and friendly. Quick check in, rooms are clean and spacious. Parking was limited with convention center adjacent. However, spots were available at the side and back of the hotel.

Having a sold out weekend, both elevators should have been working. It was an inconvenience to carry heavy bags up and down the stairs. Check in was mess. They couldn’t give me a correct total for my stay.

Our room was clean however, the hallway was dirty. Visible debris on the floor. We stayed on the 5th floor. The pool looked oily and it was obviously not cleaned as the band aids from the night before were still in the pool. The menu at the onsite restaurant was limited and expensive! If you just need somewhere to sleep, it’ll do the job but don’t have any expectations.

Very clean room and property. Staff professional and friendly. Very quiet and had a very restful sleep. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Many shopping and restaurant options nearby. Easy access to highway. Will definitley come back.

Worst hotel room in terms of cleanness. First of all, We found worn socks inside the bathroom under the sink counter. It was really in a place where you cant miss if you cared to look at least once. Second, i know it takes a lot of effort to keep the room clean but its way below the standard when i found these filthy stuff on a/c unit air outlet. Please run the vacuum cleaner at least once so it doesnt get this bad! It was sold out night so i knew there were little to be done so i asked the staff to clean the bathroom but it was very dirty nonetheless. Wont stay at Garden inn anymore if this is how they keep with the room.

Always love staying at a Hilton This hotel in Ajax was very nice clean and first impression very appealing My issue that changed my scoring is that Hilton website advertised Breakfast included for every registered guest, mornings just got better , then when inquiring upon check in desk staff said they are Hilton but each operate differently and this location did not offer this It could be purchased as an option when booking directly with hotel but I booked with Expedia later that evening I went to show them the web site and asked to speak with a manager which ended up being the same employee from the morning check in Would not budge and stood by her decision I was in management for 43 years and made things right or offered something to make it a better experience so guest left happy and appreciated and would know we appreciated their loyalty She did mention i could have booked with the adjacent hotel as they offer breakfast ??? Not impressed Would appreciate a call back

Everything was great! Front Desk was quick, management was attentive and showed their care with guests, the restaurant had great food- I thought the chef was masterful! My 1st morning there, I had the nicest server during breakfast- he was friendly, attentive, and seemed so happy- so good with people! I wish more hotels were like this one!
