Das Hotel liegt am Flussufer, unmittelbar an der Uferstrasse. Die Anzahl der Parkplätze für PKW auf dem engen Hotel Hof ist begrenzt und führt zu Stress. Restaurants sind in der Umgebung vorhanden. Kurze Wege in die Innenstadt sind der Vorteil dieses Hotels, ebenso das gute Frühstück. Während unseres Aufenthalts ist das Schließsystem der Zimmertueren für ausgefallen. Das Personal ist freundlich, der Zimmerservice bemüht.

Our room was a little tiny, part of the wooden roof was oblique until the floor level, and the minibar/kettle were under a beam, not so easy to reach. I found the bathtub quite slippery and dangerous, it is not really adapted to be a shower. Average breakfast. There are two parking spots, one is right behind the reception, the other one is footsteps away, however still in walking distance and not in the hotel. Great plus are the restaurants nearby on the same street, and the nice view/walk by the river.

We had a fantastic stay. Location is superb, 5 min stroll to old town and Cathedral. Parking outside free of charge after 7 pm or you can pay at the hotel. Rooms are great size with super big beds, good showers Special thanks to night porter who is really friendly and helpful and pleasure to chat with. Thank you for our great stay.

Nous étions en voyage et avons enchaîné plusieurs hôtels 4 étoiles lors de notre périple et avons pu comparer… Concernant la chambre, la vue sur le fleuve est avant tout sur une route, que la chambre que nous avions avait une moquette usée jusqu’à la corde me paraît très limite pour un 4* Concernant l’accueil et le petit déjeuner, rien à redire, un personnel très sympathique et professionnel. L’hôtel est proche de tout, il lui manque juste un petit rafraîchissement.

Overall we had a lovely stay here but guests should know that the “river view” is blocked by trees in the summer, so it’s not worth paying extra for that! Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable. Room was a bit dark and needs new carpet. Close to old town and an easy walk from the train station so it was a good location for us. Enjoyed many walks along the river.

Great staff helped us in many ways including aids us to locate a pharmacy to purchase a walker as the one we had got lost at the airport. Also the breakfast was outstanding and well worth the price. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

This was in no way shape or form a four star hotel. I would give it a two at best maybe even a one. The rooms had carpet at least 100 years old. It was disgusting. Pictures are way exaggerated.

Déçu, une chambre ou rien ne fonctionnait et surtout assez dégradé. Pour finir une odeur dans celle ci de la limite de raisonnable, odeur de tabac et cigare. Malgré une super équipe, il ne trouve aucune solution pour changer la chambre, franchement un prix trop élevé et ne mérite pas pour un 4 étoiles !

We enjoyed our stay at Le Maxime. The hotel was easy to find, the staff was welcoming and pleasant to chat with. The path along the River, just across the street, is excellent for running walking and biking. We would definitely return to this property.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel situé au bord d'une rivière, en plein centre historique d'Auxerre. Tout était parfait, sauf le bruit provenant d'une péniche transformée en boîte de nuit à 200 mètres de l'hôtel. La musique était très forte jusqu'à minuit ce jeudi soir. Le personnel de l'hôtel est désespéré face à ce voisinage bruyant. Nous avons dû appeler les gendarmes, qui ont fait leur travail, merci à eux. À part cela, l'hôtel est très charmant et le personnel est accueillant.
