The front desk clerk that checked us in was very hospitable. The breakfast was quite good as well. Loved the thin slices of bacon. My only complaint is that the one bed was way too soft but since we had a double queen room we just moved to the other bed which was more to my liking. A little disappointed that the restaurant was closed but there is at least 3 fast food places within walking distance.

Was in a floor room, and a driver parked his vehicle in backwards right in front of my air conditioning, started at 5am , exhausted me out. Complained to front desk as well as confronted driver, but no reseloution, or call back from hotel. Otherwise the room was fine. Also the restaurant/bar was closed for several days due to not having credit debit? This is one of the reasons I stay here to have food available...

Budget hotel. Elevator in bad shape. Feels like freight elevator. Bad first impression. Walls paper thin. Heard neighbour’s conversations. Wasn’t busy. On slow days they could separate guest rooms? Stayed 3 nights, no maid service. Excellent beds, pillows, towels, and shower. Breakfast was ok. Frequent traveller to area and the price is good, but property is getting run down. Disappointed and likely won’t book there again.

We went to our room which ended up being the honeymoon suite. On our way to it we noticed the elevator looked dirty/dingy, the walls in the hallway had noticeable damage. As soon as we walked into the room it felt like we were transported into the 1990s. From the furniture to the wallpaper. It smelt weird possibly smoke, stagnant, old air. The room layout was also strange. My guest with me said they noticed the tub was dirty. We spent maybe 5 mins in the room, we didn’t have a good feeling about it so we decided to leave. The front staff was super nice and helpful though. It’s becoming run down and needs facelift. If you don’t have much expectations it’s probably fine. The price was very good though.

Nothing you can do about an older building. Although it stated no smoking yet you can still smell cigarette smoke in the romm & hallway. The carpet in the elavater needs to be replaced. As a whole it is not bad.

The hotel looks a bit tired but overall was clean and everything worked properly.The room was very clean and sheets and towels were fresh. Unfortunately the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke and it resulted in a heavy odour of smoke in the room. I mentioned it to the hotel counter attendant but there was no effort made to address the issue. I thought that this was a smoke free facility. Breakfast was basic but very good.

I was a bit unsure about how the hotel would be. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The staff was friendly and room was spacious and clean. It even had two sinks and a Roku tv so we could put on Netflix. We would stay here again, even though it is a bit out of the way. Worth the drive.

When I arrived to check in the lady was on her phone and glared at me. When I said I would like to check in she rolled her eyes and huffed about it. Seems I was inconvenienced her. She asked for my card and Id. I gave her my bank card, I don’t have a credit card. She got mad and started raising her voice to me about a deposit and a credit card and not paying a deposit since they know the company well that I work for. . I’ve stayed here many times before without a credit card using only a bank card and no issues. Tonight was a major issue. I couldn’t even check in. Never will I stay there again. Now I’m exhausted from working a 15 hour day and have to find another hotel to stay at.

The situation escalated to the point where I, the customer called the RCMP due the attendants behaviour and metal state. I sat down with the manager the next day and described the situation that unfolded. One of the most unprofessional encounters I’ve ever had. This hotel put their patrons and business at risk allowing this to take place

When we booked we asked to stay in the handicapped room. We were told that was done. When we arrived we were told that the room was not available. The entry was not set up very well for someone needing to use a walker. The sloped walkway was uneven and the door opened so that you had to walk past the door. When we got into our room 3 light bulbs did not work. The clerk Brittany went above and beyond in assisting us . She replaced 2 of the 3 bulbs (as that was all she had). She was very helpful in figuring out which of the 2 remotes to make the TV work. Overall she was a bright spot in an otherwise unpleasant stay.

The service was exceptional! The lady at the front desk went way above and beyond to accommodate our unique needs, all the while being kind and thoughtful! We couldn't ask for better service! The room was nice and clean and the bed was super comfortable.

I never got to experience a stay at this hotel. The service clerk wouldn’t let me pay the deposit with my debit master card which I use to purchase things online. I also had cash for the deposit and the service clerk still told me that I needed to pay with a credit card. Not everyone has a credit card. So I was turned away and had go to another hotel which accommodated me very well.

It was convenient to the yellowhead hwy, yet helped avoid morning rush hour traffic heading west in the morning via hwy 37. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Room was large, very clean and bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Adequate breakfast & coffee in the morning. Very good value.

The best all around value for a stay in the fort. Great staff, clean comfortable rooms , large TV’s. Very decent hot breakfast in the morning, had pancakes , sausage and cubed potatoes , bagels , toast, cereal etc etc. Can’t beat it.

Drapes on the window was all stained, beds and pillows were clumpy poor condition, breakfast was lame (cold and not many options, no muffins or fruit). Only good thing was the lady at the front desk, she was friendly and helpful.

No ventilation in unit unless you open the window. Breakfast was burnt cheap sausages cut on half, makeshift cold omelette, terrible restocking of anything, 1 litre juice to fight over, bagels but no cream cheese, Coffee in rooms was crap and out front just warm and old. Don't count on breakfast here, go to McDonald's. Otherwise cheap stay.
