Number 61 Guest House and Tea Room

Everything was perfect. Lovely room which was immaculately clean and well presented. Stephen and Neil were perfect hosts and clearly work really hard to ensure their guests have a lovely stay. Great location for everything in the area. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!

Great position, comfortable room & friendly host.

It was located on the main street of Tynemouth. We could see the sea at the end of the road. We were not disturbed by noise. There were lots of well rated cafes and restaurants. The owner was very friendly, available and helpful without at any point being intrusive. He went out of his way to make us feel at home and to provide what we needed. We were very pleased and would return if in the area.

Brilliant find. Located right on the high street next to many bars & restaurant yet very quiet in the rooms. Lovely host who was very welcoming. Well appointed rooms and gorgeous breakfast taken in the tea room which is a hidden gem. Will definitely return

A very nice place in a very good position, I was given a very warm welcome when checking in and shown to my room. The hotel is clean and very well looked after. I would have no hesitation in recommending staying here if you are visiting the area.
