We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this beautiful apartment. The location is top notch. We were able to walk to local restaurants and beautiful shops. Our family enjoyed cocktails and sandwiches on the rooftop deck with views of the Acropolis. Sakis was so responsive to our questions & helped us arrange transportation to various sites. Sakis & the staff were also very friendly and helpful in figuring out solutions for luggage storage. Thank you for making our time in Athens so special!

This property is ideally situated, in excellent condition and very clean. Communication with the host was also excellent and we appreciated his assistance with arranging a driver from the airport as it may have been difficult for us to find the property at night otherwise. The rooftop patio was lovely with an amazing view of the Acropolis!

Sakis was amazing and the place is perfect! Right in the heart of Plaka and walking distance from everything. The rooftop has breathtaking views!!!! And we had it all to our selves! Sakis met us on arrival and made us feel right at home. Would stay again.

The owner, Sakis, was very friendly and responsive to questions. He went above and beyond when we found out at the last minute that the taxi drivers were on strike, causing the metro to be crazy busy and helped us find a ride to the ferry port. The view from the roof deck is amazing and the location is within walking distance of restaurants and shops! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Sakis, for a wonderful first experience in Athens.

The Acro & Polis was absolutely the key to us having the most incredible vacation while in Athens. The rooftop patio offers breathtaking views of the Acropolis as well as the surrounding area full of shops and restaurants. Sakis Gerodimos was extremely helpful with directions, transportation, tickets and whatever we needed to make our stay spectacular. His restaurant suggestions were wonderful. The staff were friendly, the room clean and comfortable and having a kitchenette was a real asset. We went to a neighborhood market for some charcuterie items, added a bottle of wine and had the most amazing and relaxing meal on the rooftop patio. Memories that will last us a lifetime! The location was perfect as we walked to the famous attractions that we wanted to see and felt safe, even very late at night. We highly recommend Acro & Polis and especially Sakis Gerodimos.

We loved our stay in Athens at Acro&Polis. Lovely appartment in the heart of Plaka. Many restaurants at walking distance. It was cleaned everyday, and the owner was really easy to reach. The Dining room is on the small size. But we didn’t used it much, as we prefered to eat at restaurants. Finally, he stunning rooftop terrace with many tables and chairs is just amazing. We would definitely stay there again !

The staff is friendly and we were greeted as soon as we arrived by taxi and shown our room. The bed was comfortable and the rooms very clean. We appreciated the space of a separate kitchen & living area. The historic sites are close by/walkable. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby including a coffee shop directly across the street. Enjoyed our stay at this charming boutique hotel!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Acro & Polis! The location couldn’t be better—everything was close by, and the surroundings were simply beautiful. While you could occasionally hear people walking by at night if they were loud, it didn’t bother us at all and added to the charm of staying in such a vibrant area. The Acropolis view was absolutely breathtaking, and it's not an exaggeration to say that Plaka's restaurants and those iconic stairs were just a stone's throw away. What's even more incredible? This place managed to be both in the heart of it all and tucked away in the quietest nook. The bed - it was incredibly comfy and clean. Our only minor hiccup was the size of the shower room – it was on the snug slide. But honestly, with that spectacular view and unbeatable location, it didn't bother us one bit! Saki was always there when we needed anything, making our whole experience even more fantastic!

AMAZING. Cutest location right in Plaka with everything you could need. It is hard to find a triple and this was a perfect 2 BR with large windows that open to the beautiful church next door or the pedestrian street. Sakis was exceptionally responsive to everything, including getting a driver to and from the airport. The rooftop is fabulous for having a dessert and watching the sunset. Comfy beds, great kitchen, all of the extras. 10 out of 10!

Our room was spotless and spacious but it was on the main floor, which is actually the basement. It was very noisy with people's feet going by. I would not have booked it had I known. However the rooftop patio was spectacular so we spent all our time there

The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. We appreciated the toiletries and slippers provided. There was bottled water, juice, and oranges in the fridge which we appreciated as well, such a thoughtful touch. The owner stayed in contact with us regarding a power outage which helped us feel less stressed over not having power when we arrived. Communication was top notch! The view of the Acropolis from the roof was spectacular. A great location to sit and take in the beauty of nighttime Athens. My only complaint was the size of the shower. It was very small and made it difficult to move without hitting either wall or shower curtain. Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if in Athens!

Greeted by staff on arrival who helped with luggage and showed us to our room and the rooftop sitting area with a beautiful view of the city. 1st floor apartment had 2 bedrooms and kitchen area with basics including coffee. Very close to shops and restaurants. Staff arranged for transport to and from for us.

We loved this apartment, right in the middle of Plaka so the perfect location to walk to all the sights. Plaka is a very safe and pretty area. We chose the apartment for it's roof terrace and it didn't disappoint ! eating breakfast up there with views of The Acropolis and the rest of the city was wonderful. Sakis had great communication and a lovely lady cleaned the apartment every day. If I had one criticism it would be that the bathroom is a little small and this could be helped by putting a shower screen in , instead of a curtain but really that is a tiny observation and it wouldn't stop us staying there again or recommending it.

Wow!!!! Great location!!! Great service!!! Our host was superb. He arranged pick up and dropped off to the airport. This made everything so easy. He recommended 3 places for us to checked out and it was amazing. What was outstanding is helping us out on storing our luggages since our flight was at 11pm- Check out time was 11 am. This helped us tremendously. We were able to have extra day to explore the town without worrying about our belongings. And the view on the Roof top!!! Thank you!!! 🙏

Our family enjoyed cocktails and sandwiches on the rooftop deck with views of the Acropolis. Sakis was so responsive to our questions & helped us arrange transportation to various sites. Sakis & the staff were also very friendly and helpful in figuring out solutions for luggage storage. Thank you for making our time in Athens so special!

Stayed here with my kids from 7/20-7/29/24. The owner Sakis helped arrange airport & beach transfers. He was always available whenever I had any questions. We were greeted even though our plane was delayed & it was almost 2 AM, he greeted us with a smile & showed us around our studio apartment that we rented for the 9 Days. We were also greeted with bottles of water, a local bottle of wine & fruit! The transfer he had waiting at the airport in Athens held up a sign with our name, he had waited, even though we had major flight delays. The location of the property is prefect! All the major archeological sites are within a short walking distance. The area is clean & beautiful. It’s just outside of Athens & Plaka has a unique feeling all together, it’s almost like you are on an island! The rooftop terrace was the perfect place to spend a few hours after dinner each night, taking in the beautiful view of the Acropolis & Plaka. So glad this is where we decided to stay.

Great property in the middle of the Plaka district close to restaurants and the sights of Athens. Sakis, the manager, was very helpful and friendly, recommending some great spots for dinner and arranging our transport to the airport. The best part is a huge rooftop patio with exceptional views of the city and the Acropolis.

The manager of the property seems to ALWAYS be on call. He reached out to us, arranged transportation and even helped with dinner reservations on the spot. Couldn't ask for better customer service or location. A friend recommended this place because of their fantastic experience and, a year later, our experience was equally as fantastic. Will definitely be recommending and staying again when we go back!

We loved our stay in Athens at Acro&Polis. Lovely appartment in the heart of Plaka. Many restaurants at walking distance. It was cleaned everyday, and the owner was really easy to reach. The Dining room is on the small size. But we didn’t used it much, as we prefered to eat at restaurants. Finally, he stunning rooftop terrace with many tables and chairs is just amazing. We would definitely stay there again !

Sakis was amazing and the place is perfect! Right in the heart of Plaka and walking distance from everything. The rooftop has breathtaking views!!!! And we had it all to our selves! Sakis met us on arrival and made us feel right at home. Would stay again.

This is the most amazing gem in Athens. It’s very central, quiet and traditional in the very heart of town. You can walk everywhere. The ground floor apartment is wonderful for mobility. The roof view is just stunning - day or night. This is a home away from home and I could not have asked for a better place to be in Athens. Book early - you will live it. It is in the heart of the Plaka so it can be tricky for large vehicles to get there. Very walkable. Thank you Sakis.

We appreciated the space of a separate kitchen & living area. The historic sites are close by/walkable. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby including a coffee shop directly across the street. Enjoyed our stay at this charming boutique hotel!

Amazing location, right in the heart of Plaka. The apartment was clean and lovely with everything we could need: refrigerator, coffee maker, mini kitchen, and two separate, well-furnished bedrooms. The mattress was amazing and the apartment was incredibly quiet. Mr. Sakis and his team are so kind and helpful. They helped us arrange a taxi to the airport, and it was waiting for us the minute we stepped out the door. We will be back!

Amazing apartment right in the middle of where you want to be in Athens. Walking distance to Plaka, Monastiraki, Psyri, the Acropolis and its museum, and so much more. Loved this place and it fit a family of four comfortably. Hosts were great as well.
