Spick and span property. Very clean and room is spacious. Swimming pool is small though and breakfast area can get quite chaotic during peak season. Very close to the CiQ, City Central and Komtar JBCC. However the road in front of Capri Fraser can get quite jam pack as cars utilize the roads to get to the CiQ; particularly during the evening period This is a shared space with the Capri Residence. Carparking space is ample for guests as well. The basement carpark is quite a maze. Room and bath is large sized and comfortable with a separate standing shower and bathtub. There is also a living area with 4 seater sofa. In the attached kitchen is an induction cooking hob, a microwave /oven mid-sized fridge. Overall, a very comfortable property to stay in. Only inconvenience is the construction taking place btw Capri and Komtar JBCC making it inconvenient to walk to the mall. The property does provide a one-way shuttle to drop off guests at the mall on hourly frequency.

1) Those driving can forget about it. That route toward hotel will jam during busy hours . 2) after verifying ur credit card , u only have mins to drive out and the carpark is like a maze . That is the problem of sharing carpark with a condo 3) room is decent size 4) aircon is not cold at all even when I turn to the lowest temp possible . Won’t consider again

Capri has been our fav hotel of choice for staycation in JB. The staffs are always welcoming and polite. The hotel lobby always smells great! Love the room size, for 1 room bed, the layout is good. Plus point will be the laundry room, consist of dryer and washer, at Level 1 which greatly benefits us.

The hotel is at the end of the immigration customs clearance but walking there from the customs means jaywalking around roads with no pedestrian pathway and around construction sites. There is 1 small convenience store next to the hotel but the pathway is not very friendly with steep stairs going down to the store. There is only 1 cafe and 1 breakfast restaurant. The lounge is closed permanently. The pool is also quite small. The environment is noisy from the high traffic from the causeway and we can hear those traffic noises in the middle of the night. If you drive, you can park for free. Breakfast spread was good with local, western cuisine. It was from 7-11am and we enjoyed it. We got a room upgrade to suite and was very comfortable. However the soap dispenser at the sink doesn't use. And the bathroom is too huge with a bathtub which was difficult to climb in and out. Other than that the bed was super comfortable. We will love to come back to this hotel.

My go to hotel for a JB staycation, room is clean and considerably well maintained, staff is efficient at check in counter, would have loved to swim in one of my favorite hotel pools in JB but it was spoilt by huge family groups fooling around in the pool, probably wrong timing it’s New Year’s Day.

The Pool and the Gym was awesome. Unfortunately your main road entrance for your hotel residence is along the CIQ traffic so 2 nights when we go back after 9 or 10pm is terrible jam. Poor grab driver have to stuck in the agony. Near yet so far.

Property was decent, but can see some wear and tear in room furniture (e.g. table where wood has started chipping off). Location was near custom but hard to get to hotel by walking as there is no direct walkway that links the mall or custom to hotel, so either have to jaywalk or wait for shuttle bus from hotel / take a Grab. Great that there's is shuttle bus service that brings guests from hotel to / from nearby mall during regular hours.

Check in and room upgrade was very good. Breakfast was also pretty good with wide selection. Location wise, the sea view rooms afford a nice view of the Straits and causeway. However the housekeeping left much to be desired. Firstly the room was not properly cleaned with stands of long hair on the floor. The bathrobe had yellow stains on the inside; and for 2 days the shower gel was not topped up despite it being empty.

Outstanding room that was very clean and well maintained. Would recommend. However check in was too slow and that was the only con that I could think of. Breakfast also could be improved further with more main options. Overall a very pleasant stay!

This is my third time staying here and I generally enjoy staying at this hotel. This time unfortunately it seemed that my room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was still food from from the previous occupant in the fridge and the shower had quite a few hairs in it.

Pros: The super king bed and the staffs are polite and smiley. Cons: No backup tissue box nor toilet paper. No change of towel, not even the dirty foot towel with hairs on it. Make-up mirror light is broken and dusty. Lobby’s cheap and bad quality fragrance gives me a headache. Management (if there is any) should go out and see other hotels and even motels. For the above reasons the hotel is way too pricey. 2 star 80AUD motels in Australia can offer better housekeeping and backup toilet paper.

Pros: Spacious and clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast is pretty decent. Location is near JB customs. Cons: Sound proofing and chairs used can be improved, can hear stomping of feet and dragging of chairs. There are still gaps in the blinds used in toilet.

The hotel is in walking distance to the CIQ and City Square. I had a sea view room from which I had an amazing view of the causeway and Singapore - I highly recommend getting a room that faces this direction! The hotel room itself is modern and elegant and in my experience one of the nicest and most modern hotels in all of JB.

Fabulous stay at Capri by Fraser JB. The rooms were huge and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. I had a really good nights sleep. Made good use of the kitchen cabinet to eat in my room. What really stood out for me was the very friendly and professional staff from check in and check out by the team at the reception, to housekeeping taking care of my room and amenity requests and keeping the rooms in tip top condition. Another fantastic return stay and I would definitely be back to stay again. Awesome work team! 5* stay

Nice and clean hotel. Just one irritating and disappointing issue during my stay: I called housekeeping to request bottled water sent to my room but there was no reply, so my call was transferred to front desk. Made request to front desk, she said ok and will send someone up. After waiting for MORE THAN AN HOUR and still no water delivered. I had to go down myself to the lobby and collect the bottled water myself from the staff. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I'm fairly certain I'll be staying at Capri JB again.

It gives a fantastic 5 star luxury feel with staff rushing towards you to offer help giving you water even before we could checked in. Deepa and Sureen are two gems at the front desk. We enjoyed a lot talking to both of them and got upgraded and early check in. Service is excellent. Cleanliness is impeccable though it's about 5 years old. Best of best JB hotel I have ever stayed. Even checking out, we already book our next stay in December. Shows how much we love the place.

Left a note that I have booked the room for my parents and as it was also my father’s birthday, I checked with the hotel if they can also prepare a little surprise for him. I wasn’t expecting anything but when my father entered the room and saw the birthday card and the little piece of cake, he was really happy. It was really a small gesture from the hotel but meant a lot to the old folk. Thank you very much. Also to note that I did not include breakfast during the booking and we were deciding whether to have our breakfast in the hotel. We eventually did cause the staff at the dining area gave my parents a little tour of the buffet spread and they were so hospitable my parents were impressed with the service they decided to dine there immediately. Of course the spread of the food is good too.

I booked this property based on others reviews. The proximity to ICQ was the key to my selection. The hotel advertised as a 9mins walk from ICQ and some reviews have varies timing. All in all was still 10mins and below. My review is for a family of 5 with 3 young children age 4,5 and 6 of age. My husband and 1 decided to bring 1 luggage for the trip. Things that could be better. - no proper route / pavement to walk to the hotel from ICQ. On a personal level even without having a luggage in hand, to walk with 3 young children is definitely not advisable. It is very dangerous. - A male staff attended the cafe on 29th March could have show more sensitivity and proactive towards my order. Since the meal was for kids consumption. - Requested for a late check out was given additional 30mins grace. I understand from the bellman that i spoke casually the hotel occupancy was on the low since it was a weekday. I requested a late check out for 1pm and was told it will be chargeable. So i stick to the complimentary check out at 12.30pm Things that we appreciate: - Sahur is available during Ramadhan - Shuttle bus - Room size is very ideal for my family 38sqm - Toiletries is lovely

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. An absolutely wonderful and huge breakfast range. A lovely pool plus great & clean bedrooms. The staff were so helpful even when all computers were down to the global 'blue screen of death' issue recently. The only downside is there is large amounts of construction near the hotel so there are limited footpaths which one can use to walk to the entrance. However grab cars can take you there

Pros: Near city square, had shuttle bus. Free parking for those who drive, parking lot is safe and well-guarded - something that I was initially quite concerned about. Late check out given (1pm) even though I left earlier than that. Rooms generally clean, check in and check out process was smooth. Recommended a high floor or else you will be facing directly at CIQ which can be noisy from the sound of honks. Overall ok experience. Cons: Only disappointed with the breakfast. Felt that the spread was quite lacking; no usual hashbrowns or beef bacon here, cups provided were way too tiny and could only hold about 150ml (or less) of any drink. The layout of the buffet was quite poor, a huge long table near the spread made it squeezy to walk when its crowded or when others are helping themselves to the food. I would recommend going out for breakfast if possible for the price paid. Service was not bad though, good job to the service staff working there. Local food selections on the buffet were also okay (fried kway tiao, fried rice, etc)

Spacious 1BR family room with 1 King Bed and 2 extra beds for children. Room is clean but both washbasin in bathroom and kitchen sink needs unclogging. Water was slow to drain off. Staff were friendly. Had their buffet breakfast but food wasn’t great but it is convenient to have this option as there doesn’t seem to be any restaurants or coffee shops close by for breakfast.

The F&B facility on premise is inadequate and needs to be improved. We waited for 30 mins to get our order at the restaurant.
