Wouldn’t go back. Room smelled of animals. Property run down and in poor condition. Find another spot.

Room had a musty odor and had no shades on the windows so we used a blanket. The place was clean but very tired…ripped chair, dark lit bathroom, overgrown grounds, etc…and despite saying they had an ice maker I was unable to locate it. No staff is on the property. You have to check in and out at the Beekman Arms and when checking out we were not asked how our stay was…no shocker there!

overnight stays in this area are a costly affair, so having the option of a no frills inn with decent space and everything basic that's needed is a huge thing. that being said, i have stayed here twice in a room that has a problem with moisture /mildew odors. bathroom is fine but the main area with beds etc. honestly reeks. get a dehumidifier pronto and deep clean those carpets too. i do not think a room that's odor and moisture free is a big ask, even for someplace low frills. you do keep the facility generally clean--go the extra mile and fix this! the place needs a different upkeep and upgrades. would make all the difference to visitors.
