We had a good 3 nights at the hotel. We were in town to visit relatives. The location is central. We just walked to Jollibee,McDonald’s, supermarket and Goldilocks bake shop. There’s a pharmacy next door for basics like bottled water, pop and snacks. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There were 4 of us in the room and the room was comfortable. It had a mini fridge, a small sitting area but no microwave. Lots of shelving and closet space. The property was comfortable enough and modern with 2 full beds in the room. Their rating could be higher if they had a gym, restaurant and pool. Nothing fancy about the property. Great for the price.

Good hotel. Easy motorcycle parking with fulltime security guard watching your bike. Waking distance to the boardwalk. Good internet. Lots of shopping close by. The free breakfast is very good. Western and filipino food. The only complaint i have is i would of liked the shower to be hotter. But the water pressure is fine. Id book the hotel ahead of time if you plan on staying on a weekend.

Since the hotel is so close to everything in Dumaguete, I always stay here when I visit. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is quiet and safe. The facilities alone have begun to deteriorate, although they are still suitable for a few days' stay.

Henia was a wonderful resort filled with great staff. I had booked 7 rooms for our family and each room was kept cool and clean throughout our stay with the wonderful staff. Parking was simple even for two large vehicles as they were reserved and had 24 hour security present. Location to all the major bars and attractions were walkable and we felt safe doing so. Even for moments when we need a tricycle, security was able to flag one down for us, easily, and we were at our destination in no time. I will be back in Henia for my next visit to Dumaguete.

It was a nice hotel for the price. I think it was a good value. My only complaint was the lack of hot water for showers on one day. But this was a nice hotel and a nice location at a nice price. The breakfast was simple each morning, but adequate. I actually liked it that they don’t over serve you. It’s an easy enough walk to Rizal Boulevard.

The air conditioner had no remote control and needed to be turned on manually, and the room had no hairdryer, which the receptionist said had been borrowed. The balcony faced the noisy street and was barely quiet until 10pm. The water in the hallway was empty for two days and no one replaced it. There were black stains on the sheets. All in all, I was disappointed with the experience.

I requested a room I could see outside. The room didn't have a window and I was nextdoor to the housekeeping dept. They were drilling and pounding after 11pm, noise was mild but still they shouldn't be repairing or doing maintenance this late. Air-conditioning timer knob was broken and vents were dirty. However, the room was clean and the staff was professional and courteous.

Hotel is in a central location and most of the stores, bars, restaurants and nightlife are within reasonable walking distance. Staff usually helpful and friendly, but sometimes staff at breakfast were not. Breakfast was ok, but not great, but I persevered as it was included. Nice room, but thin walls, I could hear persons in corridor and rooms next door. On one occasion I could even hear the person in the room next door getting a massage (fortunately just a regular massage!). The door handle on ensuite bathroom door came off completely while I was inside and I was momentarily trapped, not being able to open the door. I had to shove the handle forcibly back on and was fortunately able to get the door open. The one time I requested a room clean, housekeeping threw out the hand soap and didn’t replace. They also didn’t replace shower gel or toilet paper. The rubbish bin in the corridor was not emptied for several days. I asked housekeeping to empty it and they did not. It was only emptied after speaking with front desk staff.

Enjoyed the room; staff very helpful. Biggest negative is the lack of soundproofing between rooms and between building and very noisy streets below. Dining very limited. Bed are comfortable enough but sit too low to the floor.

An older style refurbished large room with a corner glass enclosure of wc and shower (408). A large room with hanging space and useful desk. A comfortable bed that I feel was not fully changed before my occupation, but was swiftly corrected. Good aircon. No outside view as window opens to service shaft? Due to thin walls and city location can be noisy. Easy check in/ departure with helpful staff.

It does the job, but very noisy if you have a room street facing and the interior is worn. However you know what you are in for and cannot judge the room based on what it is not - rather what it is. 1-3 nights ok but if you need longer you may want a resort instead. Overall for our overnight stay it did the job!

We traveled with family. We had two queen sized beds and the room was relively quiet considering it was in the city near Rizal blvd. All the workers were courteous and kind. They took our laundry to be cleaned and booked taxis for us when we asked. Traveling with toddlers is difficult, but they made it easy.

Great initial stop upon arriving in Dumaguete.! You are next to Watson’s drug store and right across the public market! Easy access to pedicabs and close to Silliman,!Robinson’s and Sans Rival by pedicab!
