A very charming and well maintained campground. My little peach colored cabin was like something out of a storybook. Cassandra, the greeter in the office, was such a delight to work with!

Stayed 4 nights

Office closes at 5 pm daily. I have never experienced this at a camping/rv park; my family and I have stayed in many over the years. We arrived at 5:30 pm. Check- in begins at 4:00 pm. The key to the cottage was posted on a late-check-in board. Parking at Cottage is very far away. Not sure why, because there is a very big grassy area right in front of the cottages that could be converted into parking instead of grass to look at. Do not let the map fool you! Access to the bathhouse is blocked off by a fence. So guests of the cottages have to walk all the way down to the parking lot, then around the campground. The cottage is very, very small. Good for 2 people, but awful for a family of 4 or more. Would not recommend staying in cottages at all! The bathhouse was clean, but the faucets are falling off the shower, one door on the shower has been destroyed, looks like by someone punching it, the hangers are broken, and the first toilet you walk into constantly leaks. "Game room" is trash. The pool table is broken, and 2 of the 4 "arcade" games are broken. Hatteras Sands needs major upgrades to facilities!!! It seems the staff only does the bare minimum to keep it afloat.

These are the cutest little cabins in OBX, bring all linens (sheets, towels) even blankets. Micro, TV and small fridge. Nice cold Ac. We had a great time, centrally located for things in Hatteras. Would come back and stay. Kevin and his crew were great

We love our little cabin. Please fix the pot holes and better toilet paper. I would stay here again.
