Arrived late evening for an early flight the next morning, so didn't really see or use any amenities. No parking, which was a bit of a pain, but there was a car park at the Henley Arms up the road which I ended up using. Tiny room and loo/shower, and one of the hardest mattresses I can remember sleeping on. Fine for LCY airport, although I can't think why else you'd stay here.

Very clean room with basic facilities. Comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and food in restaurant was excellent and good value. So convenient for the airport but we had a job finding the short cut through at first but is only nearly 5 minutes away. It’s a brilliant location for a short stay when using the airport.

Enjoyed our weekend stay at the Airport City Hotel. The service was very good. The room & Hotel very clean, plenty of storage for short stay. The bathroom shower OK but did flood the floor somewhat. The hotel staff very helpful. Food very good. especially the breakfast, But I don't have any dietary issues, The only negative issue in my opinion is that the hotel is somewhat isolated from nearby shops & restaurants. Would certainly stay there again.

Parking is very difficult. There's an underground car park at £15 per night but unless you drive a mini it's almost impossible to manoeuvre. No other parking anywhere despite being told we could park in the shopping centre a 2 minute walk. That had parking restrictions after 6.30 am in the morning and was a good 15 minute walk. There wasn't any hot water and we were told the boiler needed re setting and we should have gone to reception to tell them but with only 15 minutes until check out we couldn't do that. No apology whatsoever. Very unhelpful and rude man on reception. I wasn't happy about giving my card details in case of damage. I stay in hotels a lot and have never been asked that. I wouldn't stay again for these reasons but it was clean and room was nice. Very noisy at the front because of the trains if you like the window open

The only good thing about this hotel is the staff. They were nice. The room was tiny and cramp and dated. The bed was uncomfortable. The worst thing was the pathetic impression of parking! Only suitable if you ride a moped. I had a big car and it was hugely stressful to park and get back out. I will NEVER come back!!!!!!!!!

We stayed for one night in May as we had an early flight from London City Airport the following morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable and the hotel is extremely convenient for the airport. We would certainly recommend it.

The staff at reception was very helpful and polite. My room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the towels were fresh. It had a towel warmer which i found convenient. The room had tea/coffee facilities. Overall, my experience was pleasant. The most positive factor was that this hotel is a 3 min. walking distance from London City Airport.

The hotel looks great from the outside. The reception and communal areas are all relatively stylish. Its location is handy for public transport. However, this is where the good stuff comes to a shuddering halt. The staff are monosyllabic at best. The room was extremely small and impractical, with very little shelf space and storage. The bathroom was a wetroom and again had little or no shelf room for toiletries. My towel was so thin and over-used it had a hole in and was stained. Our curtain was thin meaning that it was largely ceremonial and for decorative purposes only. It kept very little light out. I am at a loss to know exactly when the room was cleaned properly as there was a layer of dust over the surfaces. If you are flying from London City Airport and need a bolthole, avoid this place as God knows where you would store your luggage and actually be able to manouevre around your room as well. If you are using the hotel for business and would work from your room, avoid it due to the lack of usable space.

357 / 5.000 I came back late at night and they hadn't made up the room. The bathroom was still wet from the morning shower and having only one towel for the shower and one for my hands, I could only use the bed cover (washable as it is also made of towel material): they charged me 10 £. However, the staff were courteous and helpful.

Very noisy. Was awake from 4 am listening to running water down internal drain from floor above for 2 hours. Also when water tap used elsewhere the pipes hummed loudly. Not great if you want a quiet night. The DLR that runs outside was really quiet! Otherwise staff friendly and price reasonable.

This was just a 1-night stay before catching a flight in the morning. Nice and easy walk from train to hotel and from hotel to airport. Hotel offers breakfast at a charge, but we had to leave at 4:30 am so ate later. Good room - very, very small, but comfortable bed and great a/c. Check in & Check out staff were very friendly!

The map from the airport to the hotel was very deficient esp. if you are attempting it in the dark. The actual address was not readily visible. This needs a big update uncluding exactly which exit to take. The hotel waa good for its purpose. Snall room but the foid optiins fir dinner were oksy abd tasted good.

The hotel was great for my early flight, the only negative for me was the duvet was too thin and there were no extra blankets. Woke up at 3:30am cold and struggled to get back to sleep.

Very close to City Airport, the reason why I booked it. The room was very small though and not very modern. Proximity to the rail line is an issue for noise. Generally okay - convenience most important element.

Slightly old hotel. Was asked for £100 deposit in case I smashed up the room! In the morning to get my hundred pound deposit back after 10 minute wait to reception the guy finally turned up and actually went to check the room Despite having prepaid for the room The room itself is very small but adequate Whilst there is no doubt that this is close to London City Airport, the walk from the airport through a housing estate and through a dark path

It was a terrible experience. Firstly, when I checked in late at night, the receptionist made a rude comment about my name and assumed that I was a guy. I was tired and just wanted to go to bed, but unfortunately, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and hard. The duvet on the bed was so old and thin. To make matters worse, the heating was not working, and I later found out that it was controlled centrally from reception. The heating reset every time I put the key in the room, so I couldn't adjust it to make myself more comfortable. I was freezing all night, which was just bizarre. I set my heating up to the highest and hoped that would work, but it didn't, and I had to complain in the morning. When I complained about the terrible conditions the next day, the receptionist, who was Asian and whose name I can't recall, was incredibly dismissive and unhelpful. He made me feel like it was my fault for not asking for a heater earlier. To add insult to injury, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken, and instead of apologising for the faulty room, I felt like I was being accused of breaking it. When I asked for a second duvet because the one in my room was so thin, I was told that all duvets were the same. However, after paying a fee for a second one, I discovered that they did, in fact, have normal duvets. Also, the shower had no curtains, making it incredibly impractical. My stay was a nightmare. This a extremely handy hotel for London City Airport. Less than 5 minute walk from the airport and DLR station - convenient day or night, or very early morning as in my case. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the staff laid back but helpful. Great value and super handy.

Hotel is in a great place near London City Airport and rail station so noise is inevitable but it was minimal. Lovely hotel, staff really helpful and friendly. If you need the excel or airport perfect place to stay

Hotel is very new - a short walk from the airport. The walk would be slightly intimidating after dark if you’re of a nervous disposition, but absolutely fine in reality. Not much around the area, so plan to either eat in the hotel restaurant, which is ok, or before you get to the hotel. My room overlooked the road and the passing Elizabeth line. Road was extremely quiet. Trains pass regularly but didn’t disturb my sleep.

The hotel was fine - very convenient for the activities we ahd planned... my only compaint was that the window in my room didn't shut properly so the proximity of the train line was annoying, but didn't keep me awake too much. Also, the breakfast was priced at £17 - that seemed a lot so we went elsewhere.

It is within walking distance of the LCY airport - 5 min walk, but through a not so nice area (but safe). The staff were exceptional, especially Paulo (reception) and Krisztina (cafe). The room was clean with very comfortable bed, but cramped. The cafe has a delicious gluten free cooked breakfast for a fee. But gluten free options a very limited for dinner. It’s a good option for an overnight stay to catch a flight at LCY.

Enjoyed our weekend stay at the Airport City Hotel. The service was very good. The room & Hotel very clean, plenty of storage for short stay. The bathroom shower OK but did flood the floor somewhat. The hotel staff very helpful. Food very good. especially the breakfast, But I don't have any dietary issues, The only negative issue in my opinion is that the hotel is somewhat isolated from nearby shops & restaurants. Would certainly stay there again.

I booked this hotel last minute, due to an another hotel I had booked, being overbooked when I got there. The staff in this hotel were incredibly rude, with the exception of 2 staff members I met in the restaurant. In particular, the girl that was on reception when I checked in had the worst attitude I’ve come across. I stay in hotels all over the world with my job and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. The room itself is okay, though I wasn’t sure what to make of the TV screen being so high up on the wall. I did try to make use of the internet TV however after logging in to both Netflix and Amazon, nothing would load. I ended up just streaming something on my phone using my mobile data. The bathroom was tiny and to get in and out of the shower, I had to walk sideways. I did eat from the restaurant that evening, which was okay and to be fair, very reasonably priced. There is an outdoor terrace at the back for smokers. Was the hotel worth £170 for one night? Absolutely not, I would have priced this place below IBIS.
