This is a convenient and affordable stop off whilst travelling. Heating and bed were good. Bathrooms and toilet are outside…hard to explain! So cold to get to in winter.

A necessary stop over stay, cheap but not that clean unfortunately. Lots of bugs due to no fly screens and everything being open. Shared bathrooms, two but no bath (or deep soak bath) as advertised. Lovely staff, but a little slow on food. Genuine, well intentioned hospitality but not a luxurious stay. I felt pretty safe and well looked after though, just wished it was a little cleaner to be honest.

The Riverina is an old hotel with original rooms and shared bathrooms. Our room was clean and safe the bathroom close but not ensuite. We were made very welcome and the pub meals were good.

I stayed at Riverina Hotel for 1 night, I was impressed by the large room sizes considering how much I paid. There is are a couple of common Bathroom & Toilets and are very well maintained and very clean with no odd smell. My Room had a washing sink in it which was a bonus. There is a pub and there is dining option as well but I didn't use either, so can't comment on the food. Over all I would rate it highly considering the amount they are charging, Only thing I didn't like was the kettle was in very bad shape and had fungus inside, so I couldn't warm water at 5am for a coffee, This is an easy fix and could be replaced by management for $12 from Kmart. Yes I will stay again at this Hotel.

Sorry to say but (couldn't sleep all night and had to travel Canberra next day) really bad experience with the hotel. First of all, it was wrong advertisement about bathroom attached with the room but when we went their to see the room, it was nothing just a room. And the room was very dirty, sides were broken, pubs were downstairs, people were drunk and was yelling all night. Really couldnt sleep at all.

One thing I could not handle was the cobwebs on lights in hallway, on ceiling in toilet., as I am a cleaner and cobwebs I get rid of. But I can say is the Hotel room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly.

We had a great stopover on our way home from Port Stephens-the room was large and clean and the beds comfy. We had a great meal that night and the kids loved the jumping castle and video games. The stuff were all very friendly and helpful-would definitely recommend a stop over here between Sydney and Melbourne.

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! Worst experience. Didn’t even get a follow up call from the manager. I travelled with an infant. Their site showed they had bathrooms, however there were no rooms that had private bathrooms. Place was full of smoke and people who were very noisy. As soon as I saw the room, I returned the key and asked for a refund and the manager refused. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE. Even EXPEDIA said they can’t do anything.

This property is perfectly situated within walking distance to all shops and waterfront. It has a small kitchen and supermarket across the road is very convenient. Bistro downstairs also has a great choice of food. Rooms are big and comfortable. Only small problem we had which was not the hotels fault, was that we had people come into the room next door late after the hotel had closed who were very noisy and kept us awake most of the night and we had to get up very early the next morning. Unfortunatley, as the hotel was closed and there is no reception or security to contact, so had to put up with it. This could happen anywhere as there are inconsiderate people everywhere. Would I stay there again..Yes. Would I recommend it Yes..

Such a friendly and pleasant place to stop over. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Charmimg old style buiding with high ceilings and verandahs. Food is exceptional and prices are very reasonable.
