Great 4 nights spent at this hotel. Grab app was easy to use to order taxis. Nice breakfast with big choice. Lots of games to play in lobby area. Nice gym. Lovely sea views. Mahmoud was great member of staff as well as all other staff that work here. Also free mini bar in room. Would love to stay here again

Först och främst trevlig, tillmötesgående och hjälpsam personal. Vi bokade ett rum med havsutsikt, bodde på våning 7, och utsikten var väldigt trevlig med solnedgång över havet. Rummet var helt okej, inget anmärkningsvärt. Sängen var otroligt skön! Dock hade vi problem med ett högt ljud som väckte oss flera gånger per natt. Vi tog upp detta med personalen vilka försökte hjälpa oss så gott de kunde. Ljuden fortsatte även efter att vi sa till personalen, men inte lika frekvent. Frukosten var väldigt omfattande. Bra mat i restaurangen och roomservice fungerade utmärkt. Poolområdet var lite litet för ett så stort hotell, solstolarna tog slut fort. Poolen hade potential men tyvärr var den ganska smutsig, mycket hudflagor osv som flöt runt i vattnet. Den städades varje dag men det blev inte så rent. Stranden ligger en kort promenad från hotellet och är betydligt lugnare än tex Pantai Chenang (som ligger ca 5 min bilresa från hotellet). Very hip and nice breakfast buffet. The WXYZ bar great. The Chef Bob, Sharron and bar staff are amazing. Front desk staff are great and the security, housecleaning and weight staff great. Love pools. Infinity pool, jacuzzi and gym as well. Staff cartridges so convenient and so many suggestions for things to do and go. Launderer very efficient and done well. Highly recommend plus water sports and beach is so wonderful. Langkawi people are great

Great inviting set up at hotel. Open lobby, well done with roomy bar and common areas. Third floor hosts the pool deck, bar, restaurant, gym and kid’s playroom. All nicely executed and clean. Rooms were large, bathrooms huge. Nice balcony. Space to spread out. The real stars were the staff. Each friendly, helpful and professional. Absolutely exemplary. Kudos!!

We had a wonderful stay at Aloft. Family friendly place. Excellent services. Wonderful breakfast spread. Buggy service to the beach. Friendly staff. So glad to have picked this hotel for our vacation. Definitely coming back here when we make our next Langkawi trip.

The hotel was very clean and well staffed. The breakfast choice was extensive. The cocktails very cheap in the bar. Pool area also very clean and didn’t seam to get too busy. The gym was very well stocked for a holiday hotel and again exceptionally clean and accessible 24/7. Our room was large with an excellent powerful shower. Couldn’t fault the hotel although the resort was a little quiet for us

The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. However, based on the featured photo taken inside of the room, facing the balcony, we thought the hotel is right on the beach but alas it was not so that was rather disappointing. The bathroom tiles could use a good scrub to remove mould and there should be shelves in the shower area for us to put our own toiletries instead of on the floor. On the 2nd day when we came back at about 3pm, the room is hasn't been refreshed so we had no water & some needed toiletries. Had to cancel our nap as we wanted it freshen up. When we called the front desk, we were told that only rooms that required check-in on that day would be given priority for freshening up. We absolutely did not expect that answer especially since it was close to 3pm. When we got back later, only the bed was made and water replenished. None of the required toiletries were replenished. Not even the floor and face towel. So, it looked like a rush job just to shut us up. The buffet selection is good and the staff there are friendly and attentive. If only housekeeping is the same.

The hotel has a very contemporary and modern design. The service was freindly and helpful. The beach is close by, however large portions are reserved by other resorts and there is no shade to sit in. The toilet seat was dirty on arrival, although they cleaned it upon request, this should not happen. There was no compensation or explaination for this. There was a large variety for breakfast but it was all flavourless. For the 5 days of our stay the breakfast options were the same.

Simply put, the Aloft Langkawi has the best of both worlds. Far away enough to relax, unwind and enjoy. Whilst still close enough to walk to all restaurants and shopping. There is nothing not to love about this hotel. ALL staff were wonderful, happy and loved to have fun whilst still being attentive to all our needs. A special hello to Fuad the restaurant manager who just went above and beyond. What an assett to the hotel. The restaurant was bright and airy. Seating inside and out if you wish. The choices and quality of the food whether buffet breakfast or a la carte we exceptional. The choices varied daily and the food was always hot and fresh. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and bright. The super king bed was plush and wonderfully comfortable.The bathroom was just beautiful and soaps/lotions etc were excellent quality. The swimming pool was what dreams are made of. Infinity pool overlooking the beach and palm trees, spa pools and even sun beds in the pool itself. Simply paradise. We can not rate this hotel and its staff highly enough and are already planning another trip. Thank you to all of the staff and Adrian Chua for making us feel so welcome and at home. See you all again in the new year

My favorite part about this overpriced "4" star luxury hotel is that you kind of have to call to get the room cleaned at the time you need and then they don't come and clean...instead late at night they come and apologize for not cleaning and offer you water and towels after you request some clean towels. Especially after multiple very hot days and being with a baby who uses diapers and to top it all of it just happened for the second time in the row. Even tho we mentioned via call to please come today as you forgot yesterday. Just arrived back after being away half a day and again nothing. So out of 5 days not getting a cleaning service for 3 days in a luxury hotel. Lol Can't believe this place is a Marriott hotel. Awful service. Not gonna even mention other mishaps here just truly disappointed with the place. Quick tip: don't book here, many better options with much better location this here is a over hyped place. Not sure why ratings overall are so good as that was the reason I booked and now feeling like got scammed. Can't wait to checkout tomorrow.

The lovely friendly staff, the location and the bright spacious vibe of the hotel . The room was spacious and clean . The pool and pool bar were lovely and the nook restaurant was great and very reasonably priced for the excellent quality of food . I would definitely stay here again

Booked 2 rooms: 805, 806. Front desk was kind to meet my request of having side by side rooms since my parents are elderlies. They provided wheelchair upon request. Easy to access room. Clean, nice view, well-kept facilities such as the gym and pool. Parking for rental cars are made easy. Breakfast spread was excellent. Service staffs are well-trained, has great initiative, and polite to guests. A few notes to improve on: porter service was not prompt even after being offered, and there were strange noises from the rooftop at random, odd hours (12mn, 1am, 6.30am, 10.30pm), which they have no idea about and has no solution to. The noises like floor scraping and floor banging was too loud to be ignored. Other than those, the stay was good. Thank you for accomodating us in Langkawi.

Wij waren zeer tevreden over aloft hotel. Het lijkt meer een 5 sterren hotel dan een 4 sterrenhotel. De familiekamer was ruim, schoon en had een geweldig kingsize bed. Ook de badkamer is enorm. Het personeel is vriendelijk, er zijn veel activiteiten (ook voor oudere kinderen) en alle Extra’s zoals de sportschool, kidsclub etc. Maakte er een uitstekend verblijf van. Het enige minpunt vonden wij het strand aan de overkant. Aloft heeft hier geen eigen ligbedjes en er zijn weinig andere voorzieningen. Je kunt wel wat te eten halen bij de beachclub van een ander hotel, maar dit is duur en beviel niet. Hier ligt nog een kans op verbetering. Verder een dikke aanrader!

Excellent hotel. Great location, walkable to pantai tengah beach in just a few minutes, nearby restaurants but also not far from pantai cenang. Wonderful breakfast buffet with varied options. Very hip and nice breakfast buffet. The WXYZ bar great. The Chef Bob, Sharron and bar staff are amazing. Front desk staff are great and the security, housecleaning and weight staff great. Love pools. Infinity pool, jacuzzi and gym as well. Staff cartridges so convenient and so many suggestions for things to do and go. Launderer very efficient and done well. Great inviting set up at hotel. Open lobby, well done with roomy bar and common areas. Third floor hosts the pool deck, bar, restaurant, gym and kid’s playroom. All nicely executed and clean. Firstly, upon arrival, I encountered an unexpected delay in the check-in process and was only given a room at 3pm. After a long and tiring journey, the last thing one desires is a prolonged wait at the reception desk. Unfortunately, this inconvenience set a negative tone for the rest of my stay. However, what truly exacerbated my dissatisfaction was the persistent disturbance caused by the loud noises emanating from the hotel gym. It seemed that the sound insulation was inadequate, as the constant clanging of weights and people running on the treadmill permeated through the walls, making it incredibly difficult to find peace and rest within my room. I had hoped for a relaxing and peaceful environment during my stay, but this unfortunate issue proved to be a significant hindrance. One plus point was that the hotel staff agreed to give us a late check out at 1pm. As a loyal customer of Marriott group, I had expected a more pleasant and satisfactory experience. Unfortunately, this stay has left me questioning whether I would consider choosing Aloft for my future accommodations.

I booked a premium suite unbeknownst to me that it would be at the end facing the hallway. Due to religious beliefs, I informed the hotel immediately and requested a different room. I was told that suites are at the end of hallways. We agreed to move to a standard room less expensive (we paid $438/2 nights for suite) standard room we agreed to move to was only $160/ night. I felt I should’ve been reimbursed the difference, but the hotel only offered 200 Malaysia currency and a ride to the airport. I grudgingly excepted the offer due to long traveling day. Prior to staying at this hotel, I was in Penang. I found Penang’s hotel and restaurant staff were more courteous, more attentive, and friendlier than staff at this hotel. For instance, my wife and I ordered a simple hamburger &fries and a dis of spaghetti and it took more than an hour to make. We were not given any water, we had to request. In addition, we had to ask for plates and utensils. Four staff members were socializing at the front and we had to raise our hands for assistance each time. They were not attentive as those in Penang who would come to you and asked if everything was ok. In addition, I ordered room service of dessert and it took them over an hour to deliver. All and all, I was looking to this stay and was willing to pay too dollars for room, but it was a disappointment.

Simply put, the Aloft Langkawi has the best of both worlds. Far away enough to relax, unwind and enjoy. Whilst still close enough to walk to all restaurants and shopping. There is nothing not to love about this hotel. ALL staff were wonderful, happy and loved to have fun whilst still being attentive to all our needs. A special hello to Fuad the restaurant manager who just went above and beyond. What an assett to the hotel. The restaurant was bright and airy. Seating inside and out if you wish. The choices and quality of the food whether buffet breakfast or a la carte we exceptional. The choices varied daily and the food was always hot and fresh. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and bright. The super king bed was plush and wonderfully comfortable.The bathroom was just beautiful and soaps/lotions etc were excellent quality. The swimming pool was what dreams are made of. Infinity pool overlooking the beach and palm trees, spa pools and even sun beds in the pool itself. Simply paradise. We can not rate this hotel and its staff highly enough and are already planning another trip. Thank you to all of the staff and Adrian Chua for making us feel so welcome and at home. See you all again in the new year

Fantastisk hotel med vidunderlig udsigt fra værelserne. Jeg kan simpelthen ikke komme på noget negativt - det skulle da lige være, at der er lidt mangel på pladser ved pool og jeg kun skulle være der 5 dage. Når det er sagt er værelser, morgenmadsbuffeten, træningsrum, parkering, rengøring og venlighed af personale efter min mening tæt på perfekt. Hotellet ligger 5 min fra strand og der er masser af plads på stranden, nok fordi hotellet ligger et par km udenfor centrum, men ikke længere and man sagtens kan gå, og ellers er det jo bare at bestille en Grab. Hvis jeg skal besøge Langkawi igen vil dette hotel stå øverst på min ønskeliste.

La spiaggia è raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti ma x visitare l’isola consiglio di noleggiare uno scooter proprio vicino all’hotel con soli 6/7€ al giorno. La benzina costa 40 centesimi al litro. Si possono facilmente raggiungere le più belle spiagge

The staff at this hotel makes the stay even better! Beautiful modern hotel with superb rooms. We had a great room on the 6th floor overlooking the sea and pool view. The rooms are so quiet with great a/c, so we had perfect sleep conditions. The evening buffet is fantastic value including drinks and we akso tried a number of local restaurants within 5 mins walk.

I booked a premium suite unbeknownst to me that it would be at the end facing the hallway. Due to religious beliefs, I informed the hotel immediately and requested a different room. I was told that suites are at the end of hallways. We agreed to move to a standard room less expensive (we paid $438/2 nights for suite) standard room we agreed to move to was only $160/ night. I felt I should’ve been reimbursed the difference, but the hotel only offered 200 Malaysia currency and a ride to the airport. I grudgingly excepted the offer due to long traveling day. Prior to staying at this hotel, I was in Penang. I found Penang’s hotel and restaurant staff were more courteous, more attentive, and friendlier than staff at this hotel. The hotel has a very contemporary and modern design. The service was freindly and helpful. The beach is close by, however large portions are reserved by other resorts and there is no shade to sit in. The toilet seat was dirty on arrival, although they cleaned it upon request, this should not happen. There was no compensation or explaination for this. There was a large variety for breakfast but it was all flavourless. For the 5 days of our stay the breakfast options were the same.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had a lovely room, with a gorgeous view overlooking the pool and the ocean. the toiletries were wonderful, and I loved the scent of the body wash. The facilities were great - and we had a game of pool or two each night, and a drink at the bar. The buffet breakfast was amazing!! The hotel atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable - we had a great time!

Lovely big clean spacious room. staff were excellent very helpful and kind too many to mention but they certainly looked after us, we stayed for 11 nights. Breakfast was good but mostly Indian cuisine there was plenty of choice so you wouldn’t go hungry cereals, pancakes, bread and cheeses. The beach is across the road (hotel offers to take you on buggies but we just walked) lovely white beach with many jet ski’s and banana boats etc. only a few chairs, umbrellas and tables in a very small area of the beach felt the hotel could have put loungers instead of chairs would have used them. The pool and to jacuzzis were clean and we used them well 🤗 We will definitely return there are also many restaurants nearby
