Casino was wonderful. All the staff we came in contact with were helpful and polite. Casino was very clean and beautiful. Our room was perfect. We had a king suite. It was spacious. It was very clean and had a beautiful view. This was a trip for our 10th wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed our time. We ate at one of the restaurants and enjoyed the little coffee shop store. Parking was plentiful. Either out front or in the covered garage. Our room was quiet at night with no disturbances. We had the best time.

The room was comfortable and clean. Our only complaint was our confusion about where the hotel entrance was. We arrived after dark and couldn't tell where to go. We asked staff at the casino and they were unsure about where we could park to unload. After struggling with our things from the parking lot, we were told we could have pulled up close and someone would have gotten our things for us. Frustrating!!

The room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very clean. I wish there were rooms with a balcony. The pool looks better in the pictures, it was very dated and not well maintained, the hot tubs were not working. Overall I would stay again, I would just be more prepared for a different stay than what I expected.

The resort seems well maintained except for a few areas, the pool seemed like it was not manned. When I arrived at 4P it was a complete disaster towels everywhere and no one to ask for a clean one. The rooms and hallways on my floor were very smoky smelling, I guess they allow smoking which is fine for smokers but was not clear on the reservation. Plus when you sign in they make you sign your life away that you will not smoke cannibis which is legal in the area (of course we did not) but it just seems so hypocritical to do that when the place smelled so bad in the rooms. When we left our clothes smelled like the room still, not cool especially for 400 a night

Four Winds is a very nice facility - however a couple things have slipped since our visit one year ago. The carpet was visibly dirty in our hallway, room, and parts of the lobby. The 3rd floor hallway smelled of smoke and the carpet in our room was damp. There was no pool server and the poolside menu has changed a lot. We missed the delicious appetizers that were on the menu last year. We kept the room temp set at 60 and it was still not very cool and it felt damp. We were told we would have a room on the 9th floor but then there was a problem and we got put on the 3rd floor. However, the manager (May) was very helpful and offered us a comp to make up for the room issue. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we would return. But don't stop keeping up on all the little details that make the place great - clean carpets and clean smelling areas go a long way in impressing customers!

Requested non-smoking room, hiwever, the floor below us was all smoking. Complained about the whole floor and room smelling like smoke. Told they don't move you to a different room because that one might smell like smoke too.

It is a fabulous place to get away and relax in comfort, have fun and take in nature's beautiful scenery. It is so close to downtown New Buffalo. Easy to get around.

Really taken aback by how beautiful, comfortable, and immaculate this hotel and casino is. It was much better than I expected. Staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Never had a bad meal in all of New Buffalo. We ate a couple meals at the casino restaurants (Kankakee Grill and Timber). Check the hours on the restaurants as they are not all open the same hours. One thing to note is the cleaning staff does not service your room daily, so you must ask for more supplies each day if needed. The room is impeccably appointed, and bed is very comfortable. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and has a bar and grill attached. Great patio around it, too, with towels available. Casino has every imaginable slot and gaming one could ever ask for and is spotless. Loved this place!

The hotel common areas and casino were freezing cold. It was ridiculous! It was cool outside/they really needed to put on some heat! Luckily you can control the temperature in your room. The buffet & steakhouse were closed. Not many food options.

Had a great couple days stay at the hotel and casino. We enjoyed the seafood buffet with all you can eat crab legs very much. The casino was pleasant and we felt very safe the entire time. No breakfast included with hotel stay was disappointing. A buffet pass for hotel guests would have been nice as well as it's a little pricey.

We thought the hotel was beautiful and we were pleased with the room and overall its cleanliness. I am not particularly fond of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel from the refillable containers. Check in was nice and efficient. The casino was very big and had a lot of fun games, even though we didn’t win we still had fun. The food is our biggest complaint. We ate at the grill, it starts with a k. My husband’s steak was so bad he couldn’t eat it. It was cooked correctly but the steak meat itself was terrible. He spit it out. We both had a sangria and it tasted like the wine had gone rancid they used in the drink. It was not good either. Our bill came to $137. It was terrible. We felt very let down. Our waitress was nice but very overwhelmed. The hostess was also very rude and at first told us she didn’t have a table for two. But looked down and changed her mind quick. We didn’t know what to think. Anyway. We ordered room service the next morning and it came at the correct time. It wasn’t good either. I had the biscuits and gravy. No flavor and very very soggy My husband had the same and added bacon. Didn’t even like the bacon!!! We are telling you. Everything is fine here but the FOOD!!

Our stay was amazing. Such friendly staff and decor. The casino was so much fun. The buffet was really good we went on a Thursday seafood night. The line does get a little long so get there early but it's worth it.
