our stay at the South branch in was not up to par. We had extreme noise all night, long near our room and even though we called the front desk, nothing was done. I had booked two rooms one room room number 111 had no hot water and the fire escape window was unopenable upon checking in we were grilled as if we were criminals asking for IDs ridiculous way to do business. My overall rating for this hotel is zero as if I would never stay there again and I recommend anyone who is traveling through Moorefield to choose another hotel.

We stayed at this inn for one night in August 2024. Property was recently renovated, so we could still smell the paint. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable just a little small. The beds were double instead of queen They had nice breakfast - frozen egg/sausage sandwiches (which can be heated in the microwave), bread, muffins, and cereal There are lots of places around the property to order food. There is also a walmart nearby.

I always stay here when visiting Moorefield to float the Trough.Clean hotel in a quiet rural setting. Prices are a little high due to no other hotels in the area, but staff was nice as usual. Also, hotel going through some upgrades, so looking forward to that!

The staff was incredibly. I reserved a room ahead of time but had to make changes but during that change they forgot to add that I'm handicapped in a wheelchair. I had a great a fantastic receptionist that didn't hesitate to change things up to assist me. My room was on the second floor, (no elevators). LOL 😂

I was really impressed with the cleanliness and condition of the facility. I do have to wonder however if I was given a room that appears to be just a standard room was because I booked through Orbitz. Each room in the hotel has been upgraded and renovated to be a special unique boutique room except the one I was given. I noticed that while the majority of the rooms had door tags noting their unique theme there were a handful of just standard rooms like mine. This was not noted during the booking process so I strongly suspect that this is tied to the rate of the room. Which is a shame as I would have probably paid more for one of the other rooms if that had been an option. The continental breakfast was a very simple date of microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, toast, yogurt, etc However all in all this was a very nice clean place to stay while on the road!

Toast, Muffins, Microwavable biscuits as well as juice, coffee and pastries. Lady handling was well on top of items as needed to be replaced or coffee re-made. Nothing major but we were happy enough. People were very friendly and welcoming. Would stay again and hope to if we ever return this area. THANKS!!!!
