Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square South

Check in is at 4pm and not a minute sooner. That was extremely disappointing. They were on a new system so checking in was extremely laborious and whenever I needed to buy anything from the lobby store it was an extreme chore since the register didn’t work. The lobby smelled like cigarettes and the staff never answered the phone. Ever.

I am furious as I tried to exchange my room for you Penn Station location and NO ONE would help me. So I ended up paying for two rooms and never stayed at the Times Square Location. INCREDIBLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL PROBABLY NEVER STAY AT A FAIRFIELD AGAIN.

The location of this hotel can't be beat for drivers, with only a 2 minute drive to the tunnel. The spaces were immaculate and staff so kind. The breakfast buffet was large and fresh. The downsides: parking is a five minute walk away in a garage, which was challenging in the rain. The loading zone was crowded. Also, our room was very warm and humid despite having the air on - we only stayed one night so I'm not sure if that's common.

Checked in very late c. 10:30pm; got a very pleasant and warm reception from Jeff the receptionist, who offered changing reserved one king bed room to a two queen beds at higher floor; the room is small and a bit cramped; next day morning breakfast was better than expected; location is fine, within walking distance to where we want to visit.

Mycket bra läge, nära till tex. Penn station och The High Line. Fantastisk utsikt från rummet på 22 våningen och mycket hjälpsam personal. Helt ok frukostbuffé och väldigt praktiskt att den ingår.
