Our room was located in a nice area. There were cameras around the rooms and parking area which we liked. The room was very clean and worked well for us. We were on the ground floor. I would have preferred to be on an upper floor since the rollup window coverings had to be all the way down and closed for privacy. The door lock was fussy, but the attendant in the office went with us to our room and showed us some tips and we had no more problems with it. It is a 25 minutes drive downtown Victoria. My wife and I both agreed we would stay in this facility again.

We stayed at Solo Suites with a large group in March. The suites were spacious and wonderful with full fridges, stoves, washer and dryer. All of the suites look different and unique inside. The keyless entry to the rooms was fantastic and convenient and parking was onsite and we had no issues finding a spot during our stay. Housekeeping only comes once a week but you can go to the front desk during the day to grab extras if needed. We were a 20 minute drive to downtown Victoria and 30 minutes to the airport. There was a Superstore, Costco and Walmart within 5 minutes. The main street, Goldstream, is very walkable with a lot of coffee shops, restaurants and stores. It was a very beautiful and safe area. We would definitely stay here again!

The office staff was excellent! The rooms are not very soundproof, we could hear our neighbours talking and it was as if they were in the same room with us. There was no decaf in the room and the remote batteries were dying, but the front desk staff took care of these small issues right away. The shower doesn't have much water pressure, so a little tough to shower without banging your elbows on the wall because you have to stand right up at the tap. Otherwise, great place to stay. A little pricey but includes a kitchen with capacity of long-term stay (apartment-sized fridge, full stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc). I would definitely stay here again, and the front-desk staff has a lot to do with that!!

What we liked most about this property was that it was perfect for sharing with another couple, with each of us having our own bedroom and bathroom. The location was great—close to everything we needed—and the unit was well equipped. It took us a little while to figure out the dryer since it wasn’t heating up, but we managed fine. Parking and check-in/out were easy.

The property was clean and comfortable. We had the corner unit which had 3 nice large windows. The kitchen was well stocked (other than no cutting board or flipper). The unit was right beside the elevator which was very loud. Thankfully it was not as busy at night. Staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful.

The room was very clean. I was very surprised how quiet iwas considering our room faced the main road. I would definitely stay there again. Having all the conveniences of home made it more pleasant than staying in a hotel with a fridge and a coffee maker. Did not feel liike i was sitting in a box. Also it is situated within walking distance of coffee shops,, grocery stores and restaurants. I found the people there were very friendly as well. Highly recommend staying at Solo suites.

Overall, the room was very nice. However, there were some concerns. The dishes from the previous tenant, while clean, were left in the dishwasher. My wife and I enjoyed dinner, however, there were no paper towels or napkins we could use in the kitchen. I suggest a simple roll of paper towels would’ve solved that problem. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too big for our comfort. Most disturbing though, was the bra pad from a previous tenant left lying on the floor under the bed. Our concern was if something so obvious was left unattended, what else was missed? Also, there was one tray of ice, but when I checked with the manager about an ice machine, I learned there wasn’t one; however, he did offer me another tray. Overall, this was a generally clean and serviceable room, but the road noise immediately outside of our window, made this a less than desirable location for couples.

The area is nice and parking is great. The sound protection inside is awful, though. Can hear clearly through the walls, traffic outside, etc. Our door was finicky, one of the door handles inside was installed upside down, the mattress felt worn in and squeaky, and other little things that felt like cheap corners. Overall, it serves its purpose and was a great location for us. All staff were incredibly kind and warm.

We booked 2 nights at the SoLo Suites. The images on Hotels.com don't do it justice. We though we were getting a studio but instead received a very spacious 1-bedroom and living room with kitchen and in-suite laundry - perfect for 2-3 people. The sofa didn't fold out into a bed but it was long and comfortable enough for our grown son to sleep on. Clean and 5 min walking distance to the downtown area. The manager was very friendly, brought us extra towels and coffee pods for our 2nd night stay, and let us keep our bicycles in the suite as there is no secure bike parking. The only thing to keep in mind is that it faces on Goldstream Ave which is a major street so you'll hear cars drive by, but we were still able to get a good nights rest. I recommend this place for your stay at Langford.

Our suite was huge! Loved the kitchen and couch. WiFi kept cutting out, very annoying and the street noise was pretty loud. The king size bed was a great size but somehow lumpy and the pillows were way too puffy. Would stay again if the price was right.

This was a great place to stay! Everything was so clean and comfortable. Plenty of amenities - lots of kitchen appliances and dishes, even a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The bed was especially comfortable. The air conditioning saved us during this hot weekend. Loved that we just had to sign in and then we could relax. No keys to loose, lots of privacy. Despite being very busy they got us into the room early - which was great since we were preparing to go to a wedding. The only thing I would have liked to see honestly, is a deadbolt lock for the inside of the front door. This is mostly because I have a mischievous five year old, who is sometimes know to let herself out lol This did not happen while we were there - but I did think I should mention it. We will definitely stay here when we need a place in Langford in the future.

Xavier, Manager was above & beyond. You couldn’t wish for a more helpful and hospitable manager. We arrived a few hours early and he was able to accommodate us right away, which was appreciated after a long flight! Suite is clean and spacious with a great bathtub! We will be back.

The system they have in place for self check in and lay out of these suites are excellent. This is the best place for pet friendly option in the area. We will definitely return. We used this hotel for one of our employees during a recent business trip. The response back was that the hotel was "OK". The biggest complaint was about the lock code access. The code times out rapidly and, consequently, several attempts to enter it became necessary before access was possible. The location was convenient for our purposes.

Great place in a super convenient location. VERY impressed that there is full kitchen and laundry facilities right in your own room. Less than 5 minutes from Highway and also shopping centers. Front office was very helpful and friendly and I would highly recommend this place.

No phone call. No reminder email. Nothing. Just a small paragraph in the middle of a long email stating I had to visit the office prior to check-in. What’s the point of self check in. I had everything to get into the room and when I showed up someone else was in the room.

Was the first time staying at this property - I booked it as it was close to the venues I was attending over my two day stay - and I would definitely book again. I was a little concerned about the traffic noise, but has the evening progressed, the traffic decreased substantially. Room was clean and had all the amenities needed.

I loved the area. Langford is so pretty.The suite we were in had all the amenities that we needed and more, however we faced a busy street and it was a little noisy at night but it was such a nice place to stay that after the first night it was easily overlooked. The parking was very convenient as well. We would definitely stay here again and make it a longer one next time.
