Private 2BR in Uptown by Hosteeva

Location cannot be beat. 1 mile from Tulane campus. And more restaurants within a three block radius than you could possibly visit during your stay. Also, really convenient to be across the street from a grocery store. The house has a very cute backyard. A sweet front porch. A nice kitchen with minimal but useful supplies. The beds were comfortable. It is a true shotgun layout so the bedrooms connect to each other. This was not a problem for us. My two negatives were one, the couch in the living room needs replacing. I sat on it once in the six days that I was there and that was enough. The rest of the time I preferred sitting on the kitchen chairs. We only had neighbors in the other side of the house for one night. There is no sound protection between the two sides. That one night it was difficult to sleep because our neighbors were very up and about. Overall was very glad to have found this place.

This uptown duplex is nicely outfitted and in close proximity to plenty of restaurants. Of note, street parking can be a challenge.

Convenient to many shops. Needs to replace the couch
