The Inn at Whitewing Farm

Stayed at the Inn for 2 nights. Made reservations through Expedia and paid in full. We reserved the Hackney suite. Prior to the arrival date we received 3 messages from The Inn at Whitewing Farm welcoming us and letting us know of all amenities and the fees associated with them nothing else. The property was in a great location and had beautiful grounds. The property was clean and the breakfast was great. Upon arrival we were shown the room given our key and an overview of property. Lance the owner was very informative and pleasant. Our problem was upon check out which is in the main building where the guests gathered. We told Sandy,the other owner, we were leaving and she said we had un unpaid bill. Was quite surprised since had paid in full through Expedia. She proceeded to inform me in front of other guests that Expedia didn't give her enough money and we owed the taxes. Sandy then gave us a bill for $94.82 and of course we had to pay. When I reached out to Expedia to resolve the issue they said the we owed for B&B taxes even though we had paid in full.b So beware if you book through Expedia when they state on your itinerary all fees are included and you pay in full that evidently all fees aren't included. Very disappointed with Expedia for not disclosing all fees and with the manner Sandy handled the situation. Be careful.

This place was amazing! A quiet, beautiful farm with such a cozy and peaceful room. It was so much better than staying in a regular hotel. Lance and Sandy were so kind and accommodating. The charcuterie board was delicious and such a nice treat after a full day of shopping. The barn was open all day, stocked with soda, hot drinks, and even a snack bar for guests. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious! We would definitely stay here again. And the best part—it’s only a few minutes from Longwood Gardens!

Lovely hosts. Beautiful grounds. Comfortable, large room. Also, very close toLongwood Gardens!
