Good clean hotel, love that rooms have a fridge. The upgraded room had a pod coffee machine which is great. Nice breakfast room with cooked to order hot breakfast.

Location very good, easy to find and large multi storey car park near by. Room was decent size, reception friendly and helpful. Breakfast in Masons Bar next door was very nice and the staff in there top notch. In quite a loud vibrant area but we didnt hear any noise in our room Only downside was the price but this was due to Taylor Swift concert so everywhere in Liverpool was at least doubled

Great location, Nice big room and incredible value. However I really don’t understand the adjoined club where dinner and breakfast is served. We arrived at 4:30pm and it had disco lights and a guy with a laptop pumping out drum and bass at ear splitting volume. Checking in behind us was a coach load of pensioners who were having dinner there that night? Is it meant to be a nightclub for people who go to bed early or a bar or a restaurant. Staff were lovely btw. But I’d drop the disco on a Sunday afternoon.

This hotel is in a great location if you want to be near all of the hustle and bustle, restaurants and shopping areas. The downstairs reception area was being decorated when we arrived, this was fine however there was only one person on reception to check people in which meant the area was very busy. We were given an upgrade to a balcony room, which was much appreciated. The room itself was large and clean however both the bedroom and the bathroom were very dimly lit. Bed was very comfy and nice touches with the slippers and robes.

The hotel was under renovation with towers being used, hammers and drills. Only 1 receptionist which resulted in 20-25min waiting time until i was checked in. Shower was leaking and the extraction fan was louder the usual.

Popped to Liverpool for a two night break which turned into 3 nights. Everything about the hotel was great, location /facilities and staff who did everything to make your stay a pleasure. The adjoining restaurant Mason's prepares freshly ( at an extra cost) a fantastic breakfast of your choice. We shall be returning to this jew of a hotel located in the very heart of the Liverpool night life.

Was good and comfortable but got a bit warm at night, midsummer booking. Parking at nearby Q-park was convenient. Not impressed by a cash deposit required at check in, should have been taken at booking stage if necessary.

Despite that the hotel is in the middle of some alterations, it was clean, efficient and friendly. It is also convenient for the city centre attractions. I was less impressed by the adjacent Masons bar/restaurant, where service was indifferent and food served tepid.

First time staying at this hotel. Staff were friendly and we were really lucky and informed on arival that we had been given a free upgrade. The girl that told us was so lovely and exited telling us that we couldnt help but get even more exited. Thank you. My only advace is if your a family looking for a quiet hotel dont take first 3 maybe 4 floors as it was noisy with the bar down stairs, but luckly we were on 5th floor so were ok. Be intressting to see how it is once they finish the revamp x

Great hotel,well situated,excellent breakfast.

First night the sheets had not been changed from previous guest and were not pleasant. Second day were changed after I requested it but fresh towels were not given. No phone in the room meant I always had to go down to reception to communicate. Noisy area so sleeping was a challenge

We had a lovely stay and would certainly recommend these hotels. A few thoughts from our stay. The location is excellent and we received a good welcome on arrival. Our room was a very good size. It could have been cleaner, we moved the beds to meet our needs and the floor had lots of stuff on it. All staff were very friendly. We cud have done with more towels (we did ask) and the beds weren’t made brilliantly each day.

Had a cancelled flight so stayed till me daughter came home from her separate break with house and car keys , staff were very friendly but I was ill and flu with temp so I asked for laundry bag to keep housekeeping safe mattress protector was clean but I removed it to laundry bag and was accused of staining the bed even though I went through menopause 7 years ago and tried to explain under no circumstances could the stain be mine , even though the sheet and mattress protector had no stains, as retired NHS nurse got Bottle of TCP and washed all surfaces down as best I could with the white flannel from bathroom that by the end of my deep clean was black, a rude head of housekeeping brought 6 different members of staff into the room to look at the stain changed the matress and also the owner in who charged me £150 cleaning fee which I paid because he threatened to charge more to my card I’d had a viral chest infection I was a solo disabled traveller and the Irish Boss spoke down to me trying to intimidate me because he had my credit card on file so be aware you can leave the room cleaner than you arrived strip the bed because you have had a viral chest infection and temperature find a sock and a vape that was not mine under the bed filthy windows and sills and still charge you extra and accused me of stealing a pillow so I opened my suitcase to prove I had not then checked out got told to wait out in the cold for my taxi so guests wouldn’t hear the bosses rudeness to me !

I’ll be honest wasn’t expecting a lot! However this hotel was one of the best I’ve stayed at in Liverpool city centre especially for the price. The room was massive, very clean and perfect for my one night in the city. The sound proofing was great I was even in a room overlooking a busy bar!

We booked two rooms. One was a good size but the other was smaller. I did not have my room cleaned in the 3 nights I stayed there, only the bed was made. Didn’t even take away the dirty cups or open the curtains. Also took the wet towels and bath mat but didn’t replace. My colleague faired slightly better with his bed made twice. Breakfast as basic with limited choice and not really very good quality. Great location if you want to be in the heart of the nightlife. I asked for a quieter room and they did give me one at the back. I slept ok in the comfortable bed but did get woken my loud guests on the Friday and Saturday evening

On arrival the reception guy was, very helpful on advising us the best way to get to Anfield. In the morning we reported to the desk that there hadn't been any shower gel, shampoo or hand wash in the room. They told they would get it sorted. After a day out, we went back to find the room was serviced, but the above had not been replenished. Told reception again. We left early hours and no one was about to check us out or to lodge our dissatisfaction. Although this hotel is in a prime location, i wouldn't be staying in it again.

We stayed here last night and have visited this hotel before its transition to Ropeworks. During our previous stays under the management of Epic Hotel Seel Street, we were always welcomed by friendly staff, enjoyed clean rooms, and appreciated the good facilities. However, since Ropeworks took over, we have stayed twice and have been thoroughly disappointed each time. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The room we stayed in had peeling wallpaper, a large chip in the sink (which poses a hygiene risk), and a dirty shower. The complimentary shampoo and body wash were diluted with water and not replenished. Additionally, the shower door did not close properly. The room was very dusty, and the poor lighting made it difficult to get ready, especially for a night out in Liverpool. The only positive from the stay is the security gaud on the door ensuring the safety of guests. We did raise our concerns and the member of staff said “we will inform house keeping” and that was it! No apology or how could we improve this for the future.

Rooms are fantastic, hotel is in great location. Noise from night club to 4am was not the best. But would stay again. I now now to ask for a room at rear

Really spacious room with all comforts; bed good, shower good, big window. Super nice staff (Thanks, Harry). Great location (just know due to it's location can get a bit noisy at night but that is just part of staying downtown in Liverpool).

Very convenient for city centre. Staff friendly and accommodating. It was a very lively and noisy weekend but no noise seeped into the room, which was very spacious, clean and well equipped.

Comfortable and spacious room in a central location in Liverpool, very convenient for Concert Square, Liverpool Central station etc. Modern and attractive design and friendly staff. Have stayed here a couple of times this year and would come back again.

Great location. Nice enough place. Bed comfy, pillows were dreadful. Very dark bedroom rooms and bathrooms so putting make up on is by mobile phone torch light. Other than that it's a good base to see the city from

Staff not very welcoming felt like an inconvenience to them.Bed was uncomfortable.Partner left house keys in the room i rang the Hotel 15 mins after checking out to notify them but mysteriously.They were not there 3hrs later when they eventually made a half assed attempt to find them.We have stayed here before but this hotel has dropped its standards in customer care and service.Will not stay here ever again.

Staff not the most welcoming, lacking the 'enjoy your stay' or even asking how our stay was on checking out. Took a while to check in because we asked for our rooms to be away from the front of the hotel. I messaged about this about 2 weeks before and received it a positive reply. On the day it was treated like a massive effort for the reception staff, was told it was taking a while because of our requirements, apart from the fact it was 4:30pm and they had more than enough notice to sort it out. Staff not the most welcoming or even engaging.

Friendly, efficient check in staff and an unexpected room upgrade made this a good choice for a business stay in Liverpool

Arrived quite late and didn't get the normal excellent and pleasant service from reception. I didn't feel like the regular customer that I am. Normally get upgraded room with the VIP booking no chance. £50 deposit taken this time despite never normally taken as a regular.

Hotel reception area looked like a bomb site was obvious from the start the hotel is not fully ready for guests. Also reception was busy with other guests complaining loudly about their deposits not being returned to their banks We should have left at that point We had booked three rooms one of which was a family room to sleep two adults and a child. On entering the room we found it was only a double Reception was shown confirmation of booking and stated they would ensure trundle bed was added to room as per our booking and payment! We returned at 9:30pm to find no additional bed in room. Reception then informed us that they were overbooked and they had no more trundle beds. We tried to be understanding as this was a management problem and not receptions fault and asked for a duvet and pillows. A duvet arrived after 11:00pm. The manager was not available at any stage to speak to us despite being told they would be available after 8:00am the next morning This hotel had serious issues with housekeeping The towels in two of our rooms were not dry. No housekeeping available during our stay. No food available despite the hotels website stating breakfast available The reception staff appeared to be dealing with a lot of issues that were above their pay grade I have still not received ANY contact from the management despite a request for them to contact me either by email or phone A hotel that does not fulfil its contract to provide a bed is not a hotel

Arrived early, reception staff put our bags in luggage room till we could check in. Hotel is right in the city centre with many bars and restaurants on the door step.

Very noisy at night from the street, could have done with triple glazing. But it was in the middle of the party part of town so if your out with the best of them you will not mind ! Staff were great and the hotel is right where you want to be

Can’t complain, was exactly what we needed, and was better than our expectations. For the price point, it was fantastic. Great location, great amenities, very clean. No complaints. One note is that the tv was not connected to the internet so the apps didn’t work.

room face on to main street, could hear all the music most of the night, however I was not put of by this. But if your looking a quite night ask for a different room. great location 5 minute walk to Liverpool one for shopping. loads or places to eat drink on bold street, try honest burger , and albert schloss for a great night. the Christmas markets amazing. Would stay here again close to everything. staff very pleasant and helpful.

Very attractive, comfortable, modern and well designed hotel. Located in the heart of the very noisy Seel Street entertainment district, so a great base for visiting the city centre, but not a good choice for those looking for peace and quiet.

Absolutely no issues with hotel. No noise coming from the night clubs. Excellent night sleeps. Central hotel for everything in Liverpool

Other than the racket from Concert Square a great hotel to stay at. Always Professional Reception Team. Quality rooms and services. As a VIP I appreciate the late checkout and coffee.

upon arrival terrible smell in lift area but this had gone when we left. No fruit for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was cold.

I liked the room design - modern, stylish and functional. The staff provided great customer service - like going out to buy an extra shower mat for me because all the others were with other guests. Restaurant staff at breakfast were very professional and friendly. Enjoyed the cooked breakfast.

Fan not working in bathroom, which maintenance knew about as part in order,no temp control in room and far too hot. Breakfast was awful, stale croissants and cereals not topped back up. Very poor for price
