The beds weren't very comfortable, the toilet ran unless you jiggled the handle and the floors are very squeaky. Location was great to I75 and at least half a dozen lakes. Small town charm and safe.

The atmosphere of this little cozy room was so nice, I hate to give it such a poor review but as a motel/hotel you only have one job, to provide a bed to sleep in. That unfortunately is where this place failed miserably. The mattress was absolutely terrible. I rarely ever leave a poor review and I LOVE how they have fixed up this place. It was soooo cute and was nice and clean. But the mattress was absolutely unsleepable! Me and my wife are not the complaining type, so if you are reading this keep that in mind.

Very clean well maintained property. Lost my wallet and it was found and returned to me by the owner. Highly recommend the Waters Inn. Quiet clean and comfortable. Priced reasonable, restaurant across the street. Homey atmosphere. I will be back.

We really wanted to like this motel. They accommodated us with an early check in and Bob was very gracious. Unfortunately, the room was very dark. We had every light on in the place but it was still gloomy. The bed needed a new mattress, the chairs were comfortable for about 5 minutes, and the air conditioner was not functioning to cool the room down. Because the room was so stuffy, we departed for the next leg of our trip at 5 am.

The place was clean. Beds were comfortable. Everything seemed to work as expected. Bathroom is tiny small. Shower is about 28” wide. Front desk has lots of stuff in case you forgot something.

Two things. One actually cannot be helped. That’s the bathroom. You can barely turn around in the shower and if you bend forward on the toilet you smack your head into the wall. But on thing that truly ruined the night was the mattress that was so hard I was in pain all night long. It should have been changed out years ago.

A small beautiful motel away from the crowded city. But close enough to be considered Gaylord. The rooms were clean, manager was nice, they had a nice TV and bed plus a fridge. Everything I needed really. I will stay here again for sure. There’s only a few rooms. So not all noisy!! 9/10!

Cute mom & pop. Owners friendly. Everything very clean. Shower is VERY small, but I doubt my 6'4" 250 lbs boyfriend would fit for a decent shower, Beds were hard and pillows flat, but if that is your preference, then don't hesitate to stay at this little gem. Overall a good stay. Convenient bar/restaurant across the street for dinner. My only issue is the address on hotels.com says Gaylord, MI and my GPS said no such address. After finding the hotel it is actually a Waters, Mi address. So if you want to be in Gaylord this is not the place for you.

Always love staying at waters inn really cute themed rooms. Very friendly staff. It’s quiet and I feel very safe when staying location is super easy from I/75. Will return again as I have stayed many times before.

This is a hidden gem! I totally recommend staying here! The owner is wonderful and the small town has a cute ice cream shop, bar and The Gobbler restaurant!
