The many blinds were broke on the West wall they fell off in the middle of the night scare the s*** out of us. Couldn't get a hold of anybody at checking they would not answer the phone. People thought we were the office coming up and knocking on the door because there was vacancies. Coffee Maker does not work. The size of my fist in the screen. Because of the location you couldn't open the windows there were so many people no privacy that unit should not be rented out. Overall the whole place should be shut down and refurbished it is really disgusting and it's a sad thing that you're doing to big bear had I seen it looks so run down I looking for a refund

Dirty, Outdated, Pool was dirty, No Air Conditioning, Shower had a large crack in the floor hard telling where that water was going. I do not recommend this property unless you have no other choice.

I absolutely love staying here at the Snow Bear Lodge, it’s always very clean. The morning cleaning crew is very nice and helpful. This lodge is literally across the street from where we dock our boat, and close to the community park. I just wish their pool was filled so we didn’t have to make friends next door, to swim after hours from the lake

this place is awful. I felt totally "Cat-Fished". Nothing like the pictures, pool was a mud hole and behind a locked fence, no deadbolt on the door to feel safe, no A/C but you also can't open the windows because the screens have holes, ceiling fan in the room but makes a noise when it runs, no coffee pot, no where to put your clothes, floors were dirty which we discovered when we wiped up water from the cooler we brought with a washcloth (no hand towels either). No office staff to speak to hence the virtual check in. Have no idea what it is doing on this website.

Coffee shop and pizza within easy walking distance, as well as a convenience store, which was good because there was no parking, Big Bear was very popular that weekend! Snow left some parking unavailable but they had plowed to clear as much as possible at the hotel. Room stayed cozy and warm, fireplace added to the heat.

There was no internet and the heather had a very unhealthy smell when I turned it on. The answering person, said to be on another state and the weather affected the internet. Wrong, a store owner had signal. Will check if the nanager could call me. another

There was contactless check-in, which was great. We received an email on the morning of our arrival with the code to get into the room. That was great. The area is a half mile from The Village and very walkable. Convenient liquor stores even closer. Price was good. Room is old and dated but clean. Bed was not comfortable and there’s no AC. For what we needed it was fine.

Our room smelled strongly of cigarettes and the walls are paper thin. I could hear kids running around in the next room and you can hear all the traffic outside since you're right on big bear boulevard. Was rough getting some decent sleep in that place.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin with the twin beds. Perfect for what we needed! Cabin was clean and comfy! Only complaint was the only tv was in room with the twin beds. Kinda inconvenient for the adults. Kitchen had dishes and coffee mugs but that's it. No silverware, coffee maker (glad i brought my own), pots or pans. We ate out but in case anyone plans to cook, better bring stuff with you. We would still stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay Snow Bear Lodge. Our room was very spacious and we were pleasantly surprised with the bathroom and shower sizes as well. It was perfect for our quick trip for snowboarding. And a quick walk, less than 10 minutes to the village. Would definitely recommend staying here and would book again!

The room is very spacious with lots of light. Very comfortable bed. Love the fireplace and the ceiling fan. Nice TV. Shower got hot quick. Overall really happy with my 1 night stay. I will definitely stay here again!

I did not receive my check in code or room number until almost 5:00. I contacted the hotel 4 times starting at 10:00 am. By 5:00 we were cold and just wanted to get into our room and warm up with a cup of hot coffee. However there was no coffee maker. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay Snow Bear Lodge. Our room was very spacious and we were pleasantly surprised with the bathroom and shower sizes as well. It was perfect for our quick trip for snowboarding. And a quick walk, less than 10 minutes to the village. Would definitely recommend staying here and would book again!

I absolutely love staying here at the Snow Bear Lodge, it’s always very clean. The morning cleaning crew is very nice and helpful. This lodge is literally across the street from where we dock our boat, and close to the community park. I just wish their pool was filled so we didn’t have to make friends next door, to swim after hours from the lake

Our room smelled strongly of cigarettes and the walls are paper thin. I could hear kids running around in the next room and you can hear all the traffic outside since you're right on big bear boulevard. Was rough getting some decent sleep in that place.

Coffee shop and pizza within easy walking distance, as well as a convenience store, which was good because there was no parking, Big Bear was very popular that weekend! Snow left some parking unavailable but they had plowed to clear as much as possible at the hotel. Room stayed cozy and warm, fireplace added to the heat.

I've been staying at this property for years. It gets me close enough to the mountain so that I want to drive very far to because snowboarding at the resorts.

Hugely over priced and under whelming. In need of some serious maintenance, a good clean and some paint. Prior to arrival you’re supposed to receive a 4 digit door code to access the accommodation as there is no front desk (or staff it seems) at the location. Following the instructions received from the property on the hotels.com message system we checked in online but received no code. I suspect this property does not monitor the hotels.com client message system even though this is how you receive information from them. Very frustrating. They didn’t respond to messages and we eventually got help from the hotels.com chat agent who got a door code text to us from the property. We stay at many different accommodation providers in all different budgets and categories and this was the most disappointing I can remember for sometime. Way overpriced for the product.

Bed was clean and comfortable. Easy parking. No Air Conditioning. Fan cooled it down a bit. Pool didn’t look too maintained. Okay overall.

It’s an unmanned location that you need a code to get into the room. I never got an email and had to reach out to figure out what are room was and how to get in. There is no ice, AC, and the pool is not heated. It was a cheaper option but I guess that’s why.
