Everyone we encountered were helpful, nice, and informative. Love the location, just be prepared for a decent walk to park your car, at around $55/day. The room is cozy and comfortable enough for a few nights stay. Dog friendly! Very secure.

Water pressure was awesome for showering. They cook Jumbolya every Saturday for guests. Have a fridge full of soda for free and a community kitchen. Also have water available free. Super clean. A little far from Bourbon street after a night down there.

This is a very small ‘family’ style hotel. Amenities are minimal: small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Nice outdoor communal space. VERY friendly, small staff. Easy to walk the French quarter from here. Nice breakfast place next door.

The Haunted Hotel had easy going staff that were easy to chat with “chill”. If you’re looking for a resort style stay this isn’t the place, but if you’re easy going, fun and like to hang out in an open courtyard this is a great place. Keep in mind it’s a heritage hotel. Our poor little air conditioner was working hard (we named him Aaron) so it would make a grinding noise every 7 minutes for a 2 mins. However we told staff and they were very kind and understanding. We would stay here again, due to its proximity to all the “New Orleans” vibes and walkability. Hotel isn’t wheelchair friendly (from what I can tell) and has stairs for the upper levels. Had a great time and thank you Haunted Hotel!

The staff gives personal attention to guests, and made us feel at home.

This was a perfect spot for our 1 night stay. We were close to Bourbon st and we even took advantage of the firepit in the courtyard after our adventure touring the city. Our room was small but clean. The host was very kind and helpful. I would stay here again!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Haunted Hotel! It was quiet, clean and the refurbished rooms were well-equipped. We loved the spooky decor, and thankfully had no ghostly visitors in the night! It's just a block or two from some of the coolest spots in the Quarter, including restaurants, bars and some great shops, as well as an easy walk down to the river. After such a lovely experience with the hotel and its staff, I don't think we'll ever stay anywhere else in NOLA!

+property was unique, quiet, safe and had a great courtyard. staff was great! -room needed repairs in the bathroom, bathroom wasnt 'corner clean' , floor was 'gritty' and the bed was terribly hard! The bed ultimately was our issue with this room...but overall a good experience.

This is a gem nestled in the French Quarter, both Catherine's are super sweet and hardworking, our room was perfect and squeaky clean. We loved staying in the part that's 300 years old. We will definitely be back !!

While the manager was tremendously nice, the haunted hotel was a true horror show. The hotel had an awful mildew musty smell. The room was very dirty and there was hair all over the floor and on the sheets, sink and towels. One wall looked like someone head had gone through it. The toilet ran constantly and the tv did not work. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and you could feel the springs in your back while lying down. All of this for $800 for 2 nights. (Super Bowl weekend). Only thing this place has going for it is location. Stay away from this horror show!

It was great distance from bourbon street and the heart of the french quarter. Walked to anywhere we needed to go. Great staff. We were late arriving die to flight and they were accomodating as well as late to leave due to a luggage malfunction. Air conditioner worked well and very clean room and courtyard.

The room was delightful-especially the painting of the axe man on the wall.The room was clean and comfortable.The grounds were decorated for Halloween-nice courtyard to hang out in. What set this hotel apart, mostly was the customer service from Christina. Never have we had someone call from any of the hotels before we arrived-we always had to call them. She informed us our room was actually ready early in the morning. She was there to greet us and walk us to the room-let us know she felt the air conditioning didn't feel quite right-and that someone was coming to fix it. Absolute professional, kind, and honestly cared about us. We will be back.

Staff is very friendly, the hotel has been updated and very nice rooms. The hot water in room B 5 takes around 5 minutes to warm up of not longer. The Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms (other guest complained) and neither did our cell phone service. That was a must have for my for work but I managed.. Would I stay there again, no just because of the Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi does work in the courtyard, but that is the only place. The convenience of the hotel is perfect.

This was a great hotel. We stayed over Mardi gras and were able to step outside and enjoy the loud party and then come back for a nice tranquil respite in the garden. This is a small boutique hotel and the rooms are in historic building, which is great. The walls are thick and we never heard anything. Best sleep I've had at a hotel in as long as I can remember--which is pretty amazing since it was during Mardi Gras. I was not expecting that. Cristina (I believe) at the front was extremely helpful.

Our room (B-3) was comfortable. Small, no room for a chair (which would have been nice). No wifi or cellular reception in room (and I'm told most rooms are like that) but the reception is fine in the courtyard. It's close by the French Market (really crowded during Mardi Gras) ,Jackson Sq. and Cafe du Monde. There's a couple of decent nearby places for breakfast. It's a bit of a hike to Canal St...the closest access to most of the parades. We found that the corner of Poydras and Tchoupitoulas (near Canal St.) is good for viewing most parades. Ginger, the manager, and her husband and the rest of the staff are very nice and helpful. We had a crawfish boil which was nice. I think, though, that if I were to come here again, I'd want to be closer to Canal St (but away from Bourbon St.). But if you stay here I'm sure you would have a nice experience. Oh, and they ask that you don’t clog the drain with body parts.

The location is great. The staff is great. The bathroom was very modern and renovated. The kitchenette in the room was nice. The courtyard was charming. The bed was horrible. Very uncomfortable. I would recommend the update their bedding., we enjoyed our stay.

What set this hotel apart, mostly was the customer service from Christina. Never have we had someone call from any of the hotels before we arrived-we always had to call them. She informed us our room was actually ready early in the morning. She was there to greet us and walk us to the room-let us know she felt the air conditioning didn't feel quite right-and that someone was coming to fix it. Absolute professional, kind, and honestly cared about us. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Haunted Hotel and Christina could not have been more hospitable!! She had the room warm and comfortable for our late arrival. Her directions for entering the property were excellent and included videos. We really enjoyed the courtyard and overall the hotel was very quiet and relaxing while being a short walk from the heart of the action in the French Quarter. The old building had so much character and charm. We loved our stay.

The property was clean and easy to navigate. The property manager, Ginger was easy to contact via text for any room issues. Additionally, the on-site manager, Christina, was super friendly to help with any of our local questions with parking, Mardi-Gras parades and got us anything else we needed. We look forward to coming back should we ever come back to NOLA.

The actual room was fine. No one was on duty to check us in-luckily someone was able to get us in and a key. Gate to property was very hard to open was told to "jiggle" the key. One time it took almost 2 minutes to get in. Parking was very difficult with a public parking lot about 1/2 mile away. What a great hotel. I would definitely come back! The 3 hosts were wonderful and very helpful. Very family oriented place. Beds were very comfy, A/C worked, lots of water pressure. We did not experience any ghost or stuff like that, which I was totally fine with :) They don’t have a normal front lobby. When we got there, we just called the phone number and they come let you in the side gate and walk down a path that opens into a beautiful court yard and the office is right on the corner. Everyone we encountered were helpful, nice, and informative. Love the location, just be prepared for a decent walk to park your car, at around $55/day. The room is cozy and comfortable enough for a few nights stay. Dog friendly! Very secure.

This was a great hotel. We stayed over Mardi gras and were able to step outside and enjoy the loud party and then come back for a nice tranquil respite in the garden. This is a small boutique hotel and the rooms are in historic building, which is great. The walls are thick and we never heard anything. Best sleep I've had at a hotel in as long as I can remember--which is pretty amazing since it was during Mardi Gras. I was not expecting that. Cristina (I believe) at the front was extremely helpful.

It was great distance from bourbon street and the heart of the french quarter. Walked to anywhere we needed to go. Great staff. We were late arriving die to flight and they were accomodating as well as late to leave due to a luggage malfunction. Air conditioner worked well and very clean room and courtyard.

Water pressure was awesome for showering. They cook Jumbolya every Saturday for guests. Have a fridge full of soda for free and a community kitchen. Also have water available free. Super clean. A little far from Bourbon street after a night down there.

Our room (B-3) was comfortable. Small, no room for a chair (which would have been nice). No wifi or cellular reception in room (and I'm told most rooms are like that) but the reception is fine in the courtyard. Herb was very helpful with recommendations and information! The courtyard was great for having coffee in the morning and hanging out in the evening. The hotel is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, mini marts. Our room didn't have a chest or dresser to store clothes and some hooks in the bathroom would have been nice, but otherwise a great place to stay.
