Homewood Suites by Hilton Ronkonkoma

Clean and friendly spot. Pool was out so we had to use the pool in the courtyard right next door. Two restaurants available on grounds such s Smokey bones and Red lobster. Other wise great spot and clean.

Though Expedia says free parking, there was a $12 parking fee applied per night.

The gym was well equiped.

We liked the breakfast. The room was very spacious. Staff was helpful. Didn't like having to pay $15.00 for parking.

Unnecessary paid parking that is not gated or anything. The area is car dependent, so a car is necessary. Documented Emotional Support animals are still charged as regular animal fees.

Nice size rooms. Quiet. Nice view of courtyard. Unfortunately no gluten free breakfast options other than scrambled eggs and yogurt for my celiac disease. Paid parking seems excessive, given already inflated daily room charges.

Having the kitchen made my stay so convenient. The room was very comfortable and the fitness center was super clean. Overall, super happy with my stay and absolutely would recommend

Our stay was comfortable. We stayed in one of the suites ; the 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 younger children. Everything was clean, the service was great. Only complaints would be that the temperature of the pool was quite chilly, the continental breakfast could use some improvement, and that there was a parking fee per day. For the price we paid, a parking fee seems ridiculous.

Suite cleanliness was top notch. But, the hallways were not very good. Breakfast was okay. Waffles were very good. Hot water for tea was amazingly hot -unusual and very nice.

Checkin was easy enough and the bed was super comfortable. Here ends the positives. When I got into the shower (first of our family to do so) there was hair on the wall from previous tenants. The toilet tank was leaking every time the toilet flushed. One of the nights the battery to our door lock died. We described the problem to the front desk and she says “it’s probably dead but here’s new keys to the first. Come back if they don’t work” — it’s 12:40 in the morning and if she could already diagnose the issue then why send us back up with a solution that she knew wouldn’t work (spoiler, new keys don’t work cuz she was right). When someone did come to change the battery it took a few tries because something was stuck in the unit. My husband is literally sleeping in the hallway at this point and we don’t get into the room until 1:15am. The next night the toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom. I immediately called front desk and my husband had to turn off the water valve to stop the flood. It took someone 20 minutes to show up and the guy was questioning why we turned off the water valve — uh, so the flood didn’t reach the carpet in bedroom??? Didn’t cause actual damage to the property?? And the person helping resolve the toilet issue didn’t even have show covers so he’s trailing toilet water through the room upon exit. The hallways in the hotel didn’t appear to be vacuumed regularly as there was debris all over every day of our 3-night stay.

Extremely dirty and unkept rooms. Caked on grime, mold, dust. Moved rooms and second room was only slightly cleaner after the staff wiped it down before we came to see it. Unfortunately, the next closest hotel was not pet friendly or we would have checked out immediately. Our feedback was noted and no follow up from the hotel manager.

This hotel was very clean and the employees were all super friendly. Our suite was comfortable, clean, the king bed was comfortable and we loved having the kitchen, full refrigerator and a dining table. The free buffet breakfast was very good. We will definitely be back!

The front desk staff was very welcoming. The rooms were so clean and comfortable and the grounds were lovely. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. We would definitely stay again!

Room smelled so bad like cat urine. No other rooms available so we had to deal with it.

The room is the perfect size and very comfortable. Everything felt very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night. Breakfast had a lot of options but fresh cut fruit would be appreciated and non dairy milk options.

Non smoking room smelled of smoke, unable to be moved.

Everything was wonderful. My only issue was the hallway carpets. As the week went on they became very dirty and not cleaned. Otherwise the property and room were spotless

The floors/walls aren’t as soundproof as desired, but everything else is fantastic. So much space in the rooms and so much professionalism from the staff. Really enjoyed my stay.

We stayed overnight. The hotel was modern and clean. The suite was large. Breakfast was tasty.

Noisy until 3in the morning. They gave us a room next to the lobby and you could hear lobby music well into the AM and drunks and groups in the lobby.

Loved having a kitchen and living room separate from the bedroom. It allowed for food to be eaten easily at a table rather than in one room near the bed. was very clean and had everything needed which made it easy when travelling with kids.

Nice enough hotel, but the heating system was in poor repair, and sounded like a jet taking off every time the heat came on. Very disruptive to my wife's sleep. Front desk staff very friendly and cordial, and the attendant in the dining room at breakfast was incredibly helpful (brought me bananas and peanut butter when i couldn't find them). Location is convenient, minutes from the LI Expressway.

Suite was lovely. Except for the heating/air conditioning unit that was either too hot or too cold and would not turn off. Was told by maintenance that they were planning on replacing units. Hopefully done by next summer when I come back. Thanks Homewood Suites for a great stay.

Cris at the reception desk was very professional, kind, extremely friendly and always inquiring if we were happy and comfortable with our accommodations. He always asked if we needed anything. Just 3 minor problems: 1. One of our bath towels had seen better days. It was thin and had several holes. 2. The shower head had a lot of water calcium build-up obstructing several holes thereby diminishing the water flow. 3. The table lamp flickered on and off indicating there may be a short in the wiring. I told Cris about it for safety concerns and he said he would advise maintenance. We had a lovely stay. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. When we visit again, we will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Ms. Rose front desk and the cleaning lady really shine at their dusties. At the breakfast buffet. He was awesome and very friendly. He would even greet us and asks how was our stay so far. Everyone was family friendly to us. I just have to mention that on my arrival, checking in the front desk that that received us gave us a room that was not cleaned. I even asked if the room was next to the elevator and he did know because he has been working for only six months.

Staff is very friendly and caring. The hotel was clean and well kept. Breakfast was included, the food was good. The breakfast area was clean and well presented.

Wonderful staff

Clean hotel. Great location. Communication with staff wasn’t great. Room was asked to be cleaned 2xs and wasn’t .. cleaning staff came in took all our towels never replaced them. When we asked for the room to be cleaned again .. was told that was yesterday after telling them it wasn’t. They still didn’t come and we had to go get our own towels!

Worst experience you can ever imagine staying at Hilton in Ronkonkoma. Worst Employees, bad behavior, don't know how to talk with the customers. Do not know how to handle customer service. Poor management. I have been Customers with Hilton and Marriott for the last 15 plus years and never seen the worst disrespectful service and employees don't know how to treat loyal customers. I will go highly and take care of this matter in Law/legal terms.

This spot was exactley 6.5 minute walk from the ronkonkama train station. Its a 5 minute drive to lake ronkonkama. Its only a few minutes from great food and 10 minutes to the smith haven mall. Just a great area.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. An added bonus is that it is within walking distance to the Ronkonkoma LIRR station.

Enjoyed our stay. Spacious rooms for our family of four. Came to visit family nearby. Beds were super comfy, spacious rooms, daily hot breakfast was perfect, friendly staff. Close to the LIRR (Ronkonkoma station) just a few blocks away-convenient to get to the city. Two teenagers, two TV's were a bonus.

We got an unexpected upgrade to a suite. The rooms were clean and we felt comfortable. Loved the central location to restaurants and the LIRR. We would stay there again.

Great place to stay on LI. The rooms are large, there is a fireplace and mini golf course on the property and free breakfast in the morning. The area around the hotel is bit limited with amenities but there are still some stores nearby and it is walking distance from the Long Island Railroad.

Amazing service.We stayed 9mights. We were traveling with our special needs son. They were kind to him always. The breakfast is slightly different every day and very good. The suites are very clean and convenient. One day I forgot sensitive information and they didn’t touch it. Great family hotel!

The breakfast (although it was included in the rate) was NOT so good. Bacon was rubbery, Eggs seemed like processed scrambled eggs. Waffle was not that good either.

Great hotel. Super clean and modern. The only negative is breakfast ends at 9:30. Way too early for guests who are on vacation.

The free breakfast was terrible. Eggs and homefies were ice cold. Very busy and had to wait for toaster.

The suite was perfect for my family. The beds were so comfortable. The housekeeping personnel were so kind and ready to help. The continental breakfast was wonderful
