I loved that it did not feel like a hotel. It felt like being at home in an apartment. The two issues I had were that there was only one working elevator, and it was too busy of a weekend for that to be. I found out the night before checking out that there was a freight elevator available after waiting 25-40 minutes for the elevator to come several times. Also there were alot of teenagers on the elevators with no room key/no adult and they would push all of the floors.

This was certainly a historical property. The room had several faulty electrical outlets that wouldn't work. The washer and dryer were from the early 1980s and barely worked -- the dryer would shut off after about 4 mins of running. The listing for this hotel on this site said there was a pool...and there is...but it hasn't been in service for over 2 years. The self-parking is awful. The garage is pretty sketchy and the code that the front desk provides never worked. Every time we would try to exit, it would error, and no one would answer the service call from the machine. We would have to back our car out, get out, run back inside to the concierge desk and get the code reactivated. All night long we were kept awake by sirens and crackheads screaming bloody murder from below our room in the alleyway. I would not recommend staying here for anyone.

Only one elevator was working and as busy as the hotel was, this was an inconvenient for everyone that was staying there. Overall, the service was nice and hotel well cleaned. Felt very secured, walking to our vehicle, which was parked in the garage. Parking garage fees are expensive be prepared to pay. Felt safe walking in the area.

Beautiful historic hotel but unfortunately an older elevator with only one of two in service. Site of weddings, so lots of guests coming & going. Great location in midtown directly across from the Fox Theater. Expensive parking.

The valet was terrible it took me two hours to get my car at one point. I scanned the ticket to get my car stayed outside for over an hour still no car then they send me a message and say they are busy wait 10 min and try again so I talk to valet guy and he say he works alone at night which is terrible when people are paying 55+ dollars for valet. Then this morning I scan my ticket and it send me a message saying the are to busy that I needed to come down and request my car what’s the point of valet if I have to go thru all that and plus it’s very expensive. The rooms were clean and the front desk people were very nice even the valet guys were nice just took forever to get my car

Staff was wonderful and the property was clean. Remote for the TV did not work, and the shower bathroom tiles were uncomfortable to step on. Otherwise, the room was wonderful. The only property issue was the lack of functioning elevators with only one in service during the time which made it necessary to take the stairs or wait upwards of 10 minutes before being able to take the elevator up or down to our room. If the elevator was already full, we would have to wait again or bring our luggage down the stairs.

The Location of the Georgian Terrace is perfect and makes much of mid-town easily walkable. The room (we were in 2 bedroom suite) was really spacious, had a full kitchen, and was quiet. The room was a bit dated but still an excellent bargain. Note: The Georgian Terrace rooftop pool IS NO LONGER open, and this was a MAIN attraction for me. So, if you want an amazing pool, look elsewhere.

Nice historic hotel as the vibe we wanted . Was clean. Cold rooms nice. Breakfast area was quaint cute and yummy. Friendly staff. The only two Elevators were really slow tho. Not sure if anything can be done about that tho. They finally did open up stairs as an option tho. The gym on top floor was spacious and like a sunroom loved; but equipment just needs up dating or maintenance. We enjoyed our stay. Scooters parked everywhere were so convenient as well. And easy to operate. Nearby several coffee shops too. There are quite a bit of homeless in the area. But I think that’s becoming sadly more common. We still felt safe here. Park27 Korean Bbq was a great dinner spot and lil walk. Fox theater to me is a nice aesthetic to the eyes. We sat outside coffee shop watched folks gather for Superman premiere. Was neat.

Rooms did not match pictures online: kitchen was not updated, floorboards were damaged, door frame/lock was damaged. There was dust on the bathroom walls and ceiling, along with floor corners behind doors that obviously hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Our daughter stepped in broken glass in the bathroom doorway (luckily, did not break the skin). We requested extra towels the second morning of our stay and never received them. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the room; we ended our stay using the box of tissues in lieu of toilet paper. The hot water ran out halfway through every shower. Only one elevator was working for half of our stay (we were on the 10th floor and ended up using the stairs multiple times). The pool was under construction and unusable (would have been nice to know ahead of time). The kitchen was very sparsely stocked: two forks, two spoons, four cups, four bowls, one plate. The dryer stopped working after five minutes and wouldn’t turn back on. The fitted sheets were clearly too small for the beds and kept coming off, along with being inside out. Parking was $45 per night to self-park, $55 per night for valet, which is extremely steep. The room was spacious and served our needs, just very disappointing for over $1200. There was also a Netflix series being filmed for part of our stay, which was cool to see, but some communication from the hotel would have been nice since some entrances/exits ended up being blocked off.

One of the best hotel experiences in Atlanta- from the fabulous front desk to the concierge who seemed to help everyone with any request. The room was immaculate and in a great location!

The outside of the hotel is beautiful. The lobby is very inviting. The hallways and the rooms are terrible. Carpets are dingy, walls are scuffed, furniture is old and looks beat to hell. Found a cigarette on the tv stand. Towels were thread bare. Room smelled like stale cigarette. I assumed I hooked a king size bed. We had a tiny bed where we couldn’t turn over. Bathroom tile was old and very worn. This hotel stay was not worthy of the $250 we paid.

Public areas were beautiful. We had a suite, which was poorly maintained. Some light bulbs did not work, the shower had mold and needs to be re caulked, my husband couldn’t shave because the lighting was so bad. Lampshade in bedroom was beat up. Cheap toilet paper. Furniture full of nicks. All the staff was polite and wonderful. Restaurants were good. The bed was very comfortable.

Used the valet parking which was convenient, we stayed for a football game which was a 10 minute walk to the Bobby Dodd stadium. Only thing that was a little unfortunate was wifi you're only allowed to connect one device so that was something weird have never had to consider who gets to use the wifi. But staff was very friendly. Coffee shop is very good as well.

Perfect location for a visit to Georgia Tech. 10 min walk to campus and surrounded by restaurants in midtown. Parking is extra but to be expected in big cities. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious for our family of 4. There is a full kitchen and a small dining room table if you want to heat something or order in. I’d call this a historic hotel with modern updates. It’s also a beautiful wedding venue. I will come again.

For an older property, it’s in great shape. We had a 2 bedroom suite, full kitchen, washer/dryer in unit, pleasant views and over all and very nice stay. Breakfast at Livingston Restaurant was delicious!!!! Great experience!!

This is a historic hotel. The lobby and dining was very nice. But, the rooms are very dated and you can hear everything,especially traffic. We had yrouble with our room being ready, but they were very nice with comps. Several things in walking distance.

Beautiful historic hotel in Midtown. Friendly staff. Room was comfortable- it was listed as an apartment with a full kitchen, however had to call for mini fridge and microwave. Many dings on the wall from past guests. Only 1 working elevator which created significant delay.

I love the historical aspect of the hotel and the location was great. The Staff were great, friendly and responsive. The lobby is beautiful and I enjoyed the coffee shop. It was extremely quiet and lowkey. Great views of the city from the room I did not like how old the furniture/fixtures were. All of them even the toilet seat was extremely old and worn. The room had a slightly musty smell. The tv kept going out but maintenance did come to replace it. The shower head was old and extremely loud to the point where I wanted to wear earplugs! There was also no microwave or small fridge in the room. If it wasn’t for how outdated everything was I would return but I will have to pass on visiting again until the location is updated

The Location of the Georgian Terrace is perfect and makes much of mid-town easily walkable. The room (we were in 2 bedroom suite) was really spacious, had a full kitchen, and was quiet. The room was a bit dated but still an excellent bargain. Note: The Georgian Terrace rooftop pool IS NO LONGER open, and this was a MAIN attraction for me. So, if you want an amazing pool, look elsewhere.

There were many many reasons why I wouldn't recommend his hotel. The staff were unprofessional and rude multiple times. Once we asked about snack and convenience options in the hotel and were given abrupt and angry responses as if we were in the wrong for asking. We went into the restaurant and were ushered out by a rude waiter. The concierge never pick up the phone no matter how much you dial. We learnt the first day that there is no daily cleaning even though there is a sign for it in the room. So then we requested cleaning the next day. No one cleaned the room the next day. When we talked to them, they just sent towels to us after 4 hours. Nothing else. We asked for more toilet paper and they literally didn't respond at all. In all, the staff are not only unhelpful, they avoid you and if you can catch them, act very rudely. The facilities aren't good either. The toilet didn't flush well, you have to hold the flush for 20 seconds. The bedsheets don't fit the mattresses and keep coming off. The TV didn't work until we fiddled with the wires. There's no fridge.

Clean safe property. Spacious rooms. Nice bar, but the service in the main restaurant was really slow on Friday night even though the restaurant was not crowded. No room cleaning was done on the Saturday we were there (8/30).

Fojan, Jada, Khandra, Thembela, Jeremy, and the rest of the GT staff are absolutely divine! The hospitality is top tier! The historically preserved hotel is soooo aesthetically pleasing and the rooms are comfy! Never a bad experience! Edgar’s has THE BEST Caesar salad everrr! GT is also in close proximity to so many eateries and is walkable during the day and at night, with caution! 10/10, would recommend! Thank you all for everything, always! Will ALWAYS choose GT over ALL!

Thembela and the gentleman she was training were INCREDIBLE! From the minute I began check-in, when my kids and I returned late from the Braves game, and when we had questions/needs the next morning, then were so helpful and personable. Probably my best hotel experience because of the personnel we interacted with. Please please please be sure both of your employees know how they made our short trip to Atlanta perfect. The valet was terrible it took me two hours to get my car at one point. I scanned the ticket to get my car stayed outside for over an hour still no car then they send me a message and say they are busy wait 10 min and try again so I talk to valet guy and he say he works alone at night which is terrible when people are paying 55+ dollars for valet. Then this morning I scan my ticket and it send me a message saying the are to busy that I needed to come down and request my car what’s the point of valet if I have to go thru all that and plus it’s very expensive. The rooms were clean and the front desk people were very nice even the valet guys were nice just took forever to get my car

The check in staff was extremely nice and very helpful. We tried to order room service and they never answered the phone, had to call the front desk to ask if our message we left was received. They called and finally someone called us to let us know that there was no room service that day. That was disappointing.

Perfect location for a visit to Georgia Tech. 10 min walk to campus and surrounded by restaurants in midtown. Parking is extra but to be expected in big cities. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious for our family of 4. There is a full kitchen and a small dining room table if you want to heat something or order in. I’d call this a historic hotel with modern updates. It’s also a beautiful wedding venue. I will come again.

Great place to stay! Very conveniently lovated near MARTA station. Close to downtown. Hotel has a very unique view once inside. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Definitely get down to the speakeasy and get a slice of their Turtle Cheesecake.

The hotel is lovely. No late bar. Have to ask for linen to be changed, beds towels etc. Location has lots of homeless around it, day and night to just be aware. Not the hotels fault but does become part of your stay

If you're going to see a show at The Fox Theater, this hotel is the BEST deal in Atlanta! Fantastic hotel with great service. Very clean. Convenient dining options. But the major bonus is that it's literally directly across the street from the Fox Theater. You literally cannot get more convenient than this! We will stay here every time from now on!

I had a king bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. There was a window shade and blackout curtains which was nice. The room also had a bit of a hallway leading up to the bed area and it was nice to have more distance from the room door. The closet was also super spacious, but did not have a light, which was a downside. The TV didn't initially work in my room. The bathroom sink was also clogged, did not have a stop plug or hot water, and the water also did not flow well from the faucet. When I asked, the staff did promptly send an engineer to the room who fixed the TV and the sink. The sink still had no stop plug though. The bathroom had a nice uncovered medicine cabinet, which was helpful because there was no sink counter space; there was a bit of a shelf under the sink though. The toilet is older and sits lower. The pool was closed during my stay and this was not appropriately advertised. The property offers food and beverage credit when pool access is booked at other properties via ResortPass. The lemon pepper chicken wings at the bar on the lowest floor were extremely salty and the chicken quesadillas were overcooked on the outside and the filling was bland. The tuna poke was pretty good (and I say this as someone who spends a lot of time in Hawaii and California). When going to the restaurant and bar on the main floor, they seemed understaffed and I was slow to be acknowledged on a few occasions. There was a QR code in the room for non existing room service.

The hotel itself if beautiful easily accessible from the Marta train from the airport. The first day we received no room service and had to ask for fresh towels twice before we got them. The cleanliness in the bathroom was just so so. There was coffee or something all over the inside the bathroom door. We had ordered wine and a charcuterie board and they took forever. The board was meager especially with the price!! The main restaurant was closed on Sunday which I find very inconvenient when traveling. We had late check out at 12 noon and of course the cleaning people were knocking on our door to clean, hmmm. We had brunch in the bar and the bar tender was very good and the breakfast was good. If you expect good service I would recommend another hotel.

Beautiful hotel that did not break the bank. We've stayed here twice now and felt the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had great cocktails at Edgars and really good food and the room was spacious and luxurious. Definitely would stay again!

Great hotel and nice amenities. Ms. Barbie in the Edgar's Proof & Provision bar was AWESOME! Only issue we had was a leaky toilet. Maintenance responded and said they would have to replace the seal when we leave. All in all, great experience.

Staff was amazing. The hotel is historic so expect of see dirty grout, sticky doors, shower doors that don’t work right, flooring with holes in it. I’ve stayed in a lot of historic hotels but the rooms were still clean. The room I stayed was was in need of some extra cleaning. First night ate at the Speak easy in the lower floor. Decent food but was severely under staffed. Next morning ate breakfast at the main restaurant. Service was good but food was just edible. Was expecting more.
