I read the reviews before selecting this place, so my I had moderate expectations of it. This place actually turned out better than I thought. It's not high end fancy, but it was in good condition. Our room for 5 people was a suite, one room was that standard hotel style room, bathroom, mini fridge/microwave, desk, dresser, TV, bed and couch with pull out mattress, the second room had the bed, nightstand, dresser/TV and clothes rack. Each room had it's own HVAC system. Breakfast was minimal, as I knew about based on reviews. First morning we had oatmeal packets, pop tarts, juice/coffee/tea. The second morning the food was restocked, so there was a large variety of packaged pastries, individual applesauce and fruit cups, and fresh fruit of bananas and apples. Not at all like a full breakfast, but it was a good variety. Staff was super friendly. No guest laundry available, the ice machine had lots of ice, they sell some food/snacks and even postcards. Overall, this place was better than I expected based on reviews. There is a gas station next door, but nothing else immediately available. Right off the freeway, easy to find. The price was readonable for the location and what I got.

This property is newly renovated and absolutely beautiful. Staff was very friendly. It has lots of convenience snacks and drinks, and a continental breakfast. It's right beside a gas station in case you need anything else, and also the surrounding views are just beautiful. So serene, and close to lots of natural recreation and parks.

The staff were friendly. The hotel was clean. They did mention that there was a series of movies about inbred cannibals in the area based on true stories. That was fine till we realized we did not have a deadbolt lock on the door to the room. There was no elevator. We had a lot of luggage (some heavy) and had to carry it upstairs. The breakfast was PopTarts and other premade food. The 1st day there was more of a variety.

Very clean and quaint. The building was a little older, and other than the gas station next door, there didn’t seem to be much around. However, the lady working the front desk was lovely, and the little breakfast and 24/7 coffee and tea was a delightful unexpected touch. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a particularly clean hotel. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Unfortunately, the facility fell short of expectations. There was no elevator, and there was no mention of that in the site information. I have a bad knee, and it was difficult to get up and down the stairs during my stay. The breakfast was skimpy at best, and there were no nearby places to eat breakfast out.

The bed was very comfortable! My only complaint was there was hair in tub so had to clean it before my shower. Would like to see better or more choices for breakfast, ex. Tea bags that aren’t all fruit flavored (plain black or earl grey tea) since I don’t drink coffee, maybe cereal and milk or a waffle maker.

There is not a continental breakfast, rather a corner of the lobby with packaged muffins and granola bars. It was quiet for sleeping and beds were fine. Older place/ needs updating. Many reviews mentioned how clean it was but it wasn't particularly clean, not gross/dirty but cobwebs in corners, small hairs around the sink. It was okay for a one night stay but I wouldn't want to stay longer than a roadside stop.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay and you care even a little about yourself then please consider going somewhere else! This hotel is dirty, moldy, out of date in so many ways….if you have kids then this is definitely not the place. I had a bug under my pillow in one room and when moved to a different room the ac was broken and I slept with the window open in 89° weather! Please pay a little more for anywhere else, I promise you will be happier that you did.

Just a few miles from Lewisburg but much less expensive than other places to stay. It has kind of a nature feel to it. The TV was a little finicky but eventually worked. The bed takes you to the middle of the bed. The pillows could be improved. The lady at the front desk is very customer oriented.

It was great! The lady at the front desk (so sorry I can't remember her name; this was like a month ago) was so nice to us after we entered, and created a great conversation. The room was gorgeous, very clean and smelled fresh. This was after a 9 hour work shift and a 4 hour drive, so we were super happy to get there and have no problems. Honestly I have never felt such a comfortable bed besides my own, I was joking about taking it home with us.

The staff were friendly. The bathroom was very clean. The mattress was terrible. Rolled towards middle. There were a lot of empty rooms but they put a family with two children right above us. We wanted to sleep but couldn’t. The family made a lot of noise like jumping and dropping things.

They waited for us after check-in hours, due to is being stuck in a 2 hour traffic stoppage in Dayton Ohio. Extremely nice and had us ready to go to our room to get some sleep immediately upon arrival. Great little breakfast area for a quick snack to get your day started.

The Dawson Inn met our need perfectly. As a family traveling from the midwest to the east coast, we were pleased to fine a comfortable, easily accessible, and pleasant place to spend a few hours to sleep and regroup. The staff was very pleasant at 1am! I recommend this hotel for an overnight when traveling!

Although this location is remote, it is still worth the price. It was very clean and quiet. They offered a basic continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed a place to overnight on our trip to the coast and Dawson Inn was perfect. It was clean, easy to find, quiet and the price was right. For roadtrip accommodations we don't look for amenities, just a place to stay. We'll stay here again the next time we are passing through.

They advertise breakfast but it is very very limited. Signs are up that they only have a limited supply and not to take more than what you will eat. Breakfast was packaged muffins, two flavors, and package donuts, with strawberry packaged oatmeal. The coffee was gone. They ran out. No elevator for second floor so you have to carry bags up.
