I spent a very pleasant night in Escalante at this lodge. The lodge is small with parking in front of the room. I had the Single king room which was nicely furnished with lots of nice touches and perfect for my needs. The king size bed had a nice firm mattress but the pillows were kind of soft and didn’t provide a lot of support. The tv was a connected to an antenna so there was only a limited amount of channels and sometimes the reception was spotty. But since the purpose in visiting Escalante is to get out and enjoy all the wonderful hikes and drives available this was no problem. The room has a microwave, small fridge, and a coffee/tea area with fresh ground coffee available. It would have been nice to have a small office chair so I could set up my laptop on the desk. The bathroom has lots of towels and a nice shower. The room has a back door that leads to a seating area in the back with a nice view of the mountains. The front of the rooms has a firepit and a grill and a nice seating area as well. The lobby closes at 6pm but the owners are available by phone to text or call. They are wonderful hosts. I had the pleasure of talking to and getting to know Terry and Wendy when I had a waffle for breakfast. They do not offer a free breakfast but they do have a small restaurant that sells incredible Belgian waffles and wonderful fresh ground coffee. The next time I am in Escalante I will definitely stay here again.

This was the best place we have ever stayed. The host could write a book on hospitality. They have thought of everything you could possibly want or need. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, patio had 2 rocking chairs with a blanket and a great view. There is a free guest laundry and they provide pods and dryer sheets. We want to come back and stay for a week.

What a gem! All thee other reviews mention that “ this place thought of everything”. I wondered what they meant… until we got there! Every detail from band aids for sore feet, dog treats, stain remover for red soiled clothes, a laundry room, to a blanket on the outdoor rocking chair for chilly nights. The rooms have a as small fridge for snacks or breakfast and all the utensils you need to enjoy it. Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio and beverage of your choice out there at night. Two nights was not enough! I was worried if we should spend two nights in such a tiny town but there is so much to do in the surrounding area we would have happily stayed here one or two more days! We talked to Wendy and Terri and both we friendly and offered suggestions for activities and restaurants! The Burr Trail Grill was a delight, so thank you for that too! This is a tiny town and these people are working their tails off to provide an oasis in the desert! If you are driving through Utah to see the parks, consider spending time in Escalante! There is more to do than you can imagine. Stay at the Entrada Escalante and you will not be disappointed!!!

We just completed a 10 road trip through Utah and Estrada Escalante Lodge was our number 1 lodging of 6 places we stayed. We took some short drives from the property along Scenic Hwy 12 and enjoyed lots of beauty that was not within the Natl Parks. The managers were very present and available for any questions and direction, along with sharing their backgrounds, etc. We loved our room that was fully appointed with little extras like snacks, bandages, toiletries, eye covering, etc. We also had a full kitchen and complimentary laundry facilities right next door. It was quite cool so we did not use the outside deck area, but it was lovely. We had a wonderful time and will be recommending to friends

Cute, well maintained "cabin" with awesome amenities (ie. Snacks, local coffee and free laundry facilities). Check-in was easy as it was "self-serve". Nice little patio outback and communal fire pit too. Too bad it was to cold to utilize 😢. Overall great stay.

Fabulous place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. Room was spotless and in great condition. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the lack of TV stations and the ones available the reception was poor but this is such a minor issue I would not worry about it. If I am ever in Escalante again I will definitely stay here. Nice!

We loved our stay at your lodge in Escalante! It was so quiet and perfect location for a walk we wanted to explore! All the little extras, we’re certainly appreciated. Newly remodeled and very clean. The bathroom was our favorite was separation of the shower, toilet and sink!

Spacious, clean and quiet hotel. We really liked our unit that had a full kitchen, unique artwork and comfortable bedding. The host was extremely attentive and helpful! We will definitely stay here again when in the area. We also liked the back patio so we could watch the sunset. Additionally we could walk to restaurants in the area which was convenient!

Everything about this place was great, the room is spacious, clean, waking distance to local restraints, and well decorated. We picked this location so we could explore the area during the day and enjoy a view of the evening stars at night, and it did not disappoint/1 The only setback was trying to make coffee in the morning and not knowing how to use it. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful, very comfortable small and unique motel with a boutique feel. The bed was extremely comfortable with luxurious sheets, The room comes outfitted with a basket of free snacks, delicious pour over coffee from a small local roaster and dog snacks and bed. Parking is right at the front door. Each room has a back patio with unique rocking chairs so you can relax and watch the sunset over the beautiful horizon. I loved this property and will definitely return for a longer stay. It’s an extremely good value for the money.

This was a fantastic experience for us. The attention to detail was amazing! We’ve travelled a lot in both Europe, Africa and the US. I can honestly say this is the best place we have ever stayed. Met the owner out in the yard working and he was very informative and helpful. If you read the letter that they send out check in is very very easy (of course I didn't read it all the way through). The resort is very impressive with all the comforts of home. Would stay again if in the area.

The room we had was perfect for a couple. Parking space next to room was easy to access our luggage. Upon arrival we found we couldn’t secure the door between adjacent room. Terry arrived promptly and fixed the problem. The room amenities are top notch: coffee, teas and snacks. Highly recommend this gem!

really enjoyed we really enjoyed our stay at estrada Escalante. The managers Terry and Kim were so helpful.. they brought me decaf coffee, jumped our car and called us when my husband left his glasses. The room was spacious, please and had great artwork that Terry had created had decorated with. We would definitely stay there again

The Lodge was excellent - I would absolutely stay there again. The perfect place to relax after a day of hiking in Escalante! The property is clean, quiet, modern and well-furnished with everything you need. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful.

First time in a long long time we had a well designed, executed and clean facility. We like to look at the dark skies using our long chairs. The back patio is small and to use the backyard was challenging because of seriously uneven grounds with stones, rocks to fall easily... Easy to fix. The waffles breakfast is a plus. Walking distance from all, art and music festival included. Thank you very much.

Spacious, clean and quiet hotel. We really liked our unit that had a full kitchen, unique artwork and comfortable bedding. The host was extremely attentive and helpful! We will definitely stay here again when in the area. We also liked the back patio so we could watch the sunset. Additionally we could walk to restaurants in the area which was convenient!

Escalante is a quiet little town and not for those who like a huge variety of restaurants and shops. However, this area is right up our alley. We are more interested in peace and quiet and getting from the unit we stayed in, to the scenic byways without hoards of other tourists doing the same thing. The property we stayed on was very well furnished with more than what we needed and the staff were all friendly. We spent quite awhile visiting with the managers who were very down to earth and helpful. The property is well cared for all the way around. We will definitely return and enjoy these little well put together units and their beautiful surroundings as soon as we can. And by the way, the two places we did eat at were very tasty. They were Nemo’s and Big Bubba’s.

This property is a 10. The suite has everything from a front and back door to band aides and spot remover! It has two managers who are genuinely concerned for your well being and needs. What a plus! The place is simply both immaculate and cozy. It has all the newest features. Because it is on the Main Street of this very small town of 700 , visitors have walking access to shops, food and the bank. It sits at a great take off point for all the activities of the area.

We had a great stay at the Entrada Escalante. Great, large room with tons of little extras, they really go the extra mile. Nice view from our room and around the property. Walkable to dining and shopping options, convenient short drive to parks and hiking trails. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautifully decorated, with thoughtful amenities and quality touches - a complimentary snack basket with lots of snacks, hot chocolate, etc; a French press with local ground coffee, a welcome kit for our pup including bowls, blanket, treats. There was also complimentary laundry. We loved the studio apartment set up with dining room table, mini kitchen with microwave, toaster oven, plates, glasses, silverware etc. worked great for our family of 4 plus pup for 2 nights but could easily stay comfortably for several more days. Located close to several good restaurants too! Also there is a back porch open to wide fields where deer wandered across. Highly recommend!

I spent a very pleasant night in Escalante at this lodge. The lodge is small with parking in front of the room. I had the Single king room which was nicely furnished with lots of nice touches and perfect for my needs. The king size bed had a nice firm mattress but the pillows were kind of soft and didn’t provide a lot of support. The tv was a connected to an antenna so there was only a limited amount of channels and sometimes the reception was spotty. But since the purpose in visiting Escalante is to get out and enjoy all the wonderful hikes and drives available this was no problem. The room has a microwave, small fridge, and a coffee/tea area with fresh ground coffee available. It would have been nice to have a small office chair so I could set up my laptop on the desk. The bathroom has lots of towels and a nice shower. The room has a back door that leads to a seating area in the back with a nice view of the mountains. The front of the rooms has a firepit and a grill and a nice seating area as well. The lobby closes at 6pm but the owners are available by phone to text or call. They are wonderful hosts. I had the pleasure of talking to and getting to know Terry and Wendy when I had a waffle for breakfast. They do not offer a free breakfast but they do have a small restaurant that sells incredible Belgian waffles and wonderful fresh ground coffee. The next time I am in Escalante I will definitely stay here again.

A really awesome place to stay. Can’t say enough positive things about our stay. I loved the little special things they had in the rooms. Decor was inviting and relaxing. We ate at outfitters cafe. The cafe was fantastic!!!! Pizza and sandwiches wonderful. Hotel I will be telling everyone about and if I come back I will be staying there.

The Entrada Escalante Lodge more than exceeded our expectations! The room was well furnished and filled with so many personal touches! Truly one of the best places we have ever stayed. the room was impressive, from the ease of checking in to the comfortable chairs and view on the back patio. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was more than we expected, the room was super quiet, and I must mention the coffee. We’ve stayed at places where the coffee was not fit for drinking, but we left there and days later we’re still discussing the coffee. Highly recommend the place!
