The room was nice and comfortable. However, we chose this hotel because it has a swimming pool. Unfortunately, we didn't know that the swimming pool would be closed during the duration of our stay. My children and I were very disappointed that it was not available. Although the staff was very apologetic about the pool situation, we would have most likely selected another hotel if we had known this in advance.

Parking is very very limited. I did not like having to get a park pass to stick in the window and park in a dark spot on the street with my 5 year old and her mother.

Property was clean, room was very comfortable. There is NOT a EV charging station on site as listed. It is across the street at another Marriott hotel which is not convenient or safe for someone traveling alone to have to walk across street in this area. It should be disclosed the EV charger is across street.

Great hotel for the price range. Excellent front desk people. Full size fridge& freezer is a plus. Close to mall,walmart,&, many dining options. Free breakfast AND dinner. Will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel with grills. The outdoor pool was kind of small. Rooms had kitchen and sofa bed. Was very spacious. Enjoyed the pool table. Breakfast had many varieties even no pork options. Enjoyed the city view at night. Staff was friendly.

The receptionists are friendly and helpful, but the hotel falls short in several aspects, especially cleanliness, maintenance, and the quality of breakfast. The room was visibly dirty upon arrival, with issues such as a completely crooked chandelier, a stained and sticky carpet, holes in the bathroom walls, dirt accumulated in the corners, and dirty bathtub and cabinets. Additionally, the daily cleaning is inadequate, as they don’t even clean the floor properly. The breakfast is also disappointing, with limited variety and low-quality items. Unfortunately, I would not stay at this hotel again.

There was definitely dry blood in the middle of my floor, and blood droplets on the bottom, half of the other bed that I wasn’t sleeping in. The lock almost locked me in and out of my own room. But the hotel staff was friendly and accommodated.

Our stay was ruined by roaches. We called down to the desk to report multiple roaches and they sent a maintenance man with a jug of no name brand “roach spray.” He messily sprayed it in a few places and was gone in less than 5 minutes. We didnt receive an apology from him or the desk staff when we called. Roaches were in the kitchen area, bathroom and loads of them appeared when we opened the closet door. We took all of our belongings to the car and had we known they would not move us to another room & they would only send someone to “spray” which did nothing, we would have just checked out early and found other accommodations. Only thought to take photos after we realized we were stuck in the reservation for the evening.

Tbis place was filthy and in poor overall shape. Thankfully we only stayed one night. Several Kitchen drawers were broken, toaster had greasy fingerprints, and coffee pot was disgusting. Bathroom not bad, but shower drained poorly. Mattress was not good. Lumpy and mushy. Sofa/loveseat looked and felt dirty and didnt smell very good. Tbis.place.is dated and in poor condition.

We booked a 3 night stay through expedia. First off I have to.mention that the staff is very friendly. The room was missing the large mirror. The kitchen light was off and had to be reset at the breaker inside the room (did this myself). The carpet had some stains. The bed sheets were nice and crisp. Our second night there we saw (and killed) a very large cockroach (about 2 1/2 inches long). When I reported this to the overnight receptionist, he didnt seem surprised. It was too late to bet another room so we stayed that night. Reached out to expedia but they werent able to domanything because they needed to speak tonthe manager whichbwas not in at night. When we checked out in the morning we spoke to the manager regatding a partial refund and she offered us BonVOY points. I assumed that they were for the inconvenice. After speaking to expedia again, the property denied any sort of refund request due to issuing the points. Expedia was able to give me some extra credit on my account. On our way out we noticed that the pool had been closed by the dept of Health. Overall I would not recommend this property.

The room was just ok, but the bathroom was terrible. The flooring is sticking up and the makeshift taped piece was a trip hazard. The shower leaks water out onto the floor & it was moldy. I tripped over the raised flooring in the kitchen twice. They shouldn’t be able to let anyone stay with the room like this. Never again!!!

Room had a wadded up dirty sock, toilet ran all night. Hall carpets were filthy. On the 17th of March @5:30, breakfast kitchen set off whole property fire alarm forcing us to curtal our stay due to our pet being traumatized by piercing sirens. Regretted our stay here, pass on this Marriott property.

Property seemed to be very nice and inviting from outside. Front desk was rude to my husband . Was ok with me. We were here from Ga. Tagged along with husband for work. Got into the room it was decent. Was looking for a place that has a stove top and frig. No other hotel in this area had what I needed. OMG!!! The longer we stayed the more roaches came out. I was surprised. So I called the front desk (wanted to call an exterminator )and the receptionist asked me why am I calling on Wednesday and not when we checked in on Monday. And then said, how can I help you because we don’t have another room to put you-in. I told her the longer I’m here the more roaches we have to kill. She said let me call my manager. I told her I am calling corporate. She acted as if she didn’t care and said ok. Will not stay here again. Hate to leave this kind of review. But the receptionist did not try to help.

If it hadn’t been for a couple of things, easy and quick fixes, that denoted lack of care in the room, this hotel would have been 10/10! 1. Fix water pressure issue in the bathroom sink, 2. Attach loose corner wall metal trim, 3. Clean up caulk stains on the bathroom floor, 4. Replace two cracked tub tiles, 5. Touch up the chip paint on the bathtub, 6. Make sure pool is available specially in summer season! See, none of these are expensive fixes.

Property “upgraded” our room but gave us a smaller bed size than reserved. Could not fix this issue the first night but moved us the next day. After settling into the new room with our previously requested king size bed, experienced issues with the television and its connectivity that were not resolved by the time we checked out.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, both domestically and internationally, and I can say without hesitation that this was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever been in. The king suite is gigantic and fully accommodated and the breakfast that was served on the day that I stayed was plentiful with a lot of selections. Brenda and her staff do a phenomenal job.

Great room size for the price range, friendly staff, and a very good breakfast. 12pm checkout was also a huge plus. Only complaint is, sometimes the window didn't seem to block much noise. Potentially making it a little noisy for some being close to the interstate.

It exceeded our expectations, as the room was spacious with everything inside. Everything includes kitchen utilities for cooking, a big fridge, a dishwasher, etc. The bed was comfortable, and the washroom was great and spacious.

The clerk at the front desk was very nice. I guess you get showed love on day shift because the afternoon and night shift don’t even care nor acknowledge you. Our room had a little musty smell and the shower curtains were nasty but overall the room was okay.

Bed was old and lumpy. Breakfast standard. They charged us $150 for a pet fee for one dog after telling us that the fee was $50 upon arrival. The manager on the phone was super rude and refused to reimburse us the difference.

The hotel itself is clean and quiet, breakfast was good but a bit early from 5a-9a. There was no room service or housekeeping services during the stay. The surrounding area is not safe at all, drug addicts and unhoused people roaming the area and I was uneasy that the doors were not keycard locked after 11pm like the sign said. I booked two rooms under my name but they did not reserve them close together, they werent even on the same floor. There was no cable only a few local channels, and one of the rooms smelled strongly of mold, probably because the toilet was leaking. We were told they were completely booked and there were no other rooms available. The night check in lady was not very pleasant, not rude, but not pleasant; kind of just flat. As a Marriott property I would expect more, but the pillows were fluffy and the room and bathroom was clean. It was an average stay.

The hotel is located 14 miles from downtown, didn’t realize that when I was booking it. Traffic is terrible. If you prefer to stay out of crowds this is the perfect location for you. Breakfast was good but not too many choices.

We stayed here, one reason because of the location. We visited Magnolia Plantation and the market and Bay Area. If you know the traffic situation in Charleston this was kind of in the middle and we didn’t have to wait in traffic as long. We went down town one day and Magnolia Plantation the next! The price of this place was reasonable and very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great stay in North Charleston. Hotel room was spacious and comfy. All of the staff we met were nice and seemed to be happy to be working there. Definitely a perfect spot to getaway to Charleston.

This hotel was very quiet and clean. My only slight issue was the fact that breakfast was the same everyday. The main dish was scrambled eggs and sausage. I did get sausage that had not been heated up enough. But overall I would go there again.

From the moment we checked in, we were treated with a smile and kindness. I wish I could remember the name of the man who checked us in, but he was so accommodating and constantly checked to ensure our stay was to our satisfaction. From the Happy Hour snacks to the excellent breakfast, the food and coffee hit the spot. Our room was great! The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had a fridge big enough to accommodate our groceries. I highly recommend this hotel!
