Cobblestone Inn & Suites Fairfield Bay

The tv channels did not work so we barely had any to choose from...u can't park at the facility u have to go across the street in an abandoned parking lot to park your vehicle and boat and can't see it from your room ..we had to wait for our room to even be ready ..it was not ready at check in ....

Amenities weren’t available. Tried to eat at restaurant twice but was told it was closed for the day. Gym was closed for ??? reason. Pool unavailable

Super clean and comfy beds!! Breakfast bar severely lacking. This morning we were pretty sure we were served yesterday’s breakfast bar’s leftover ham. Extremely hard and dried out. This hotel has no parking lot. 4 spaces for cars, and then you’re asked to park across the street. We were told it used it be the parking lot for the failed conference center. Someone decided to build a hotel. Don’t count on the restaurant (closed in February) or spa. We’ll be looking elsewhere the next time ….

Good check in, Great room, good price, ok breakfast. Parking isn't great but its fine you just have to walk about 75 to a 100 yards and cross a highway. Over-all, for the money and area it's not bad at all.

Check-in was pretty easy except for them not having the room i booked. I booked a handicapped room. I have to have one because I'm in a wheelchair, paralyzed. They switched it to a different room but we had no bed for my son. Had they given the room i called and requested this wouldn't have been an issue. We were on the third floor and my mom was on the second floor. The third floor had this horrid smell. It didn't transfer into our room thank goodness but it was terrible. Also, the second day, I saw that the maids had dish soap, i asked for some to clean bottles with because I left mine on accident. She tells me, "sorry, its only for guests that are staying in a suite." I was so put off by that. I've never had any hotel tell me that. I travel often. The rooms are pretty basic. Not a whole lot of channels on tv. The beds are nice. My mom had an issue with the room having trash left over from the previous guest. Breakfast is free, it was really good Saturday morning. Lots of hot options but Sunday it wasn't the best. The restaurant in the hotel is okay. It needs some work but the family that runs it are the sweetest people so that was good. The pool is about a mile down the road. But its pretty nice. Theres very limited parking for the hotel. Theres only a little gas station *they don't have gas* harps & DG in the town but theres a walmart, Casey's, & a few other things in Clinton which is about 27 minutes from the hotel. Its a nice area. People are VERY friendly!

NO POOL ON SITE! There is a community pool that is $10 a person down the road. Check in was supposed to be at 3 and our room wasn't ready until after 4. The TV might of had 10 channels that worked... Very disappointed

The hotel is clean, modern, and spacious. Parking is a bit odd, its across the street. They even have a spa for pedicures, manicures, and massages. If you are visiting the property, book those in advance.

Parking was minimal directly at the building. Other than that, the place was great! Teresa at the front desk was so warm and welcoming!

This is our second time staying here and enjoy the quiet and cleanliness of the property. The staff is the best and provides excellent customer service. When you are in the Fairfield Bay area we highly recommend this excellent hotel.

We had a really nice room. Very clean, modern, comfortable.

Staff was friendly. The parking is not great at all. Definitely enough space for the size of the hotel. Everything was still in good condition. One of the beds in my double bed room had not so clean sheets. I just checked the other bed and stayed the night in it.

The room had a lot of space. Bathroom was great. The breakfast buffet and coffee was good. Only on minor issue was the tv. Most of the channels did not come in.

Well maintained property in a resort/retirement community. The lady at check-in was friendly and humorous, and our room was in good shape when we got in. Breakfast options were pretty basic and limited. It was very quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. TV reception and selection were not that good, but fine for single overnight stay.

The wonderful lady working the morning breakfast service, Candace, voluntarily made my son and I a separate meal to accommodate our food allergies and it was delicious!

Hotel manager was very attentive

Nothing worked right. The tvs didnt work nor did the bedroom door to our suite. They actually charged our card again fir the room even thougb we paid through hotels.com. we spent 40 more dollars than we would have if we would have just booked through them. Now the front desk guy was very helpfull he is the reason i gave it any stars. We called them when we were traveling home and realized we were almost out of money due to them charging us twice and the lady we spoke with was so rude about it and when i told her about them over charging me and they took my money to get home on and i Was traveling with my 2 kids she laughed. I didnt see where it was funny at all.

The breakfast staff are amazing. Ana was very patient when my card declined bc of fraudulent activity on my account. After several minutes I thought of another way to pay. Very embarrassing for me but Ana handled it in such a professional manner.

It was great, i regret not booking with them earlier. Fairfield Bay has so much to offer. The hotel was exceptional, especially for the price. Very impressed will be there again for black out on the bay!! This hotel is located in a perfect area and the amenities are wonderful it is a very nice place.

You have to park across the street. They dont have their own parking lot. Very inconvient and dangerous with small children and lots of bags. The site says they have a pool, which they do, but it's a mile from the hotel. You have to drive to the pool and drive back soaking wet. Also inconvient with small children. The fitness center on site was also out of order. The restaurant in the lobby was very delicious, but the service sucked. It took 20 minutes to order our meals and over an hour for our food to come. Took over 45 minutes just to get the appetizers. I would have been more upset if the food wasnt good, but it did taste fantastic. The beds are comfy. The hotel service and cable channels are terrible. Bring a computer to stream something if you want to watch tv.

Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Eggs have shells in them. Bacon and sausage seem to have been in the refrigerator for a month. Just not good.

The property was clean and the staff was friendly. There are only a few parking spaces in front of the hotel so we had to park in a parking lot across the street. The breakfast offered by the hotel was horrible. The biscuits were so hard we couldn't bite into them.
