Older looking hotel, but nice and clean inside the room. Checking in was easy and the staff were polite/ friendly. Easy walk to downtown as we were tired from riding our motorcycles. Parking is good. We played golf at the nearby golf course. Great course and they rent clubs!

The grounds are well kept. It's quiet, and you can park right outside your door. The staff is kind and helpful. The room is cute and has a fridge, coffee pot, and microwave which helps. The bed and pillows are very comfortable! I want the bed! The shower inserts could definitely be updated, but I still felt comfortable using the shower. The room needed to be dusted and swept, but the bathroom and bed were clean.

We were upgraded to the Cottage. A delightful bungelow with its own parking, well-stocked kitchen, and two very comfy beds. For those not cooking, there are nearby places to eat. We had a great breakfast at Monica's.

This was a last minute booking, but it was perfect for what we needed. Pet friendly, clean room, amenities, walkable to restaurants. The check-in was easy and friendly. The parking was right outside the room. The bed was comfortable.

Room was updated and modern with many extras. Staff was very helpful, super friendly, and thoughtful. The room was $80 less than closest competitor. Lots of thoughtful amenities went into the room from flower head shower to first aid kit to coffee and tea to doggie treats and tennis ball to huge flatscreen tv to remote control for heater/cooler to microwave and fridge with a separate freezer on top to toothbrushes to good smelling shampoo and conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the attention to detail i everything. It was a painless checkin and checkout process with a dog park area.

Driving in to the property, it looked very sketchy dirty and ghetto. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and accommodating. We got our keys, opened the door and were shocked to find such a charming one bedroom apartment! It was tastefully decorated with a full kitchen. They also allow dogs for a fee which worked well for us. We were able to cook a pizza after our long trip and relax. Overall, the accommodations were great, the outside needs some work. I believe the front desk lady said the property is under new management.

The website shows a lovely house, making believe that's where you would stay. Not true. The motel was less than flattering. Where to start. Floor was seeping some type of liquid, if your feet were wet. It was snowing, so our feet were wet. The bathroom has mold all around the walls and flooring of the shower. There was no hot water in the shower. There was thumping, and a very loud TV all night long in the room next door. Taylor is the owner and she said please forgive us, we are under renovation. Maybe they should have done a little more before opening the place to the public. In her defense she did try to help with the noise overnight. Sorry, we won't be back for $104 per night. There's a nice hotel just out of town, that we'll stay at next time my husband wants to ski with his friend.

This is an old property that evidently is being renovated. There was black mold in the shower, no table or chairs (so you have to eat, use your computer, or other tasks sitting on the bed). It took forever to get hot water. However, the beds were comfortable and the property manager was friendly and helpful. Hopefully this property will improve!

Friendly check in BUT... Shower was not clean at all including inside shower and I took pics as proof as a just in case and as well the outside of shower with grime and grit and gross build up and not bleached and scrubbed in a very long time! The above matters to me LOTS! I paid 242 dollars CDN after tax for just two nights and when it should have easily been 160 CDN!, MAX! -Hardly any plug in outlets -Fridge BARELY kept cool, very minimal and on last leg -Tv was a nightmare as we could not just watch some live tv/sports and did not want to bother them at front desk on it as we were only there during the nights. Just streaming channels that froze up lots! I cannot say I will be returning sadly to report as was not pleased on the condition and time will only see it get even worse??? Time can only tell and the price was super heavy for what we got. They do a good job promoting other businesses in the area though, just not their own place sadly. Need much better clean up crews! And to fix the important things I have mentioned. May 2/3/4, 23.

What I liked was that this unit has a full kitchen in it and it was very close to Chewelah park where we had our reunion. Everything in the unit was fairly clean, however In the bathroom, the fixtures were coming out of the wall in the shower area. The bathroom sink which was a pedestal sink was not at all fixed to the wall. That whole bathroom needs a re-do! The bed feels like a blow up mattress as well as the pillow. I will also mention that we were left with a quarter roll of toilet paper and a few sheets of paper towels. There wasn't anyone to call for more, we were able to ask the cleaning gal for some the next day. Also, please replace that couch....it has more lumps than a beginners gravy.

The room was ok, if i were to make suggestions, I would have to say bring a extension cord, there is a corner table but no light in that corner or plugin receptacles to place one on it. One of the bed lights had a non working USB port. In the bathroom there was a non working ceiling fan and a window that didn't open. The center of the bathroom floor had a high spot that the door kept catching on, would suggest they trim the bottom of the door to clear it. The shower enclosure is dated and should be replaced soon. The shower curtain almost touches the lip of the enclosure and some water was able to run out onto the tile floor. It looks as if the owners are trying to upgrade and it is better than some of the others that I have had the opportunity to stay in and if the owners corrected the small issues they would have a very nice facility there.

Pros: Cozy rooms, friendly staff, smart TVs, close to everything, great water pressure and affordable price. Also- dog friendly! Cons: like most motels you can hear pretty well through the walls to the other rooms but that’s pretty typical. Overall good stay and highly recommend for ski trips to 49 degrees north!

The staff was super helpful. I book a room that had to many stairs for my disabled son and they were able to put us in the cottage. it worked out really good for us. it was super clean. I'd defiantly go back.

Our second time at this property in a year. Rooms in the motel have been updated nicely, beds are comfortable. (Pillows both stays not so much, but that\'s personal preference). Our frustration is with left behind items. This place has no reasonable accomodation for this. Our first time there, we realized 10 minutes down the road that we had left a a 4 pack of coffee drinks in the fridge, and when we returned the gentleman manager would not allow us back into the room to get them "because housekeeping didn\'t find anything". This past stay, a clothing item was left behind. Same gentleman informed me that they would hold it if I came back, but "company policy" prevented him from doing anything else, even if it was an item with value like a cell phone. Super irritating attitude, when I can name a host of both large hotels and small Mom&Pop places that would do it differently. It\'s not that hard, and much appreciated.

Ive stayed here a couple times because of the location to Mt. Rainier entry, the rooms are old but semi updated. You can hear everything from every room including the hallway. Kind of feels like you’re a guest at a house. WiFi is good, parking is great. Location to restaurants is not convenient unless your driving to them. What I’m amazed at each time I’ve gone the front desk people are always so unfriendly. Its not a deal breaker, but they truly look and act like they hate you and their job. Friendliness upon entry and exit is easy to provide.

Room was updated and modern with many extras. Staff was very helpful, super friendly, and thoughtful. The room was $80 less than closest competitor. Lots of thoughtful amenities went into the room from flower head shower to first aid kit to coffee and tea to doggie treats and tennis ball to huge flatscreen tv to remote control for heater/cooler to microwave and fridge with a separate freezer on top to toothbrushes to good smelling shampoo and conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the attention to detail i everything. It was a painless checkin and checkout process with a dog park area.

Older looking hotel, but nice and clean inside the room. Checking in was easy and the staff were polite/ friendly. Easy walk to downtown as we were tired from riding our motorcycles. Parking is good. We played golf at the nearby golf course. Great course and they rent clubs!

Pros: Cozy rooms, friendly staff, smart TVs, close to everything, great water pressure and affordable price. Also- dog friendly! Cons: like most motels you can hear pretty well through the walls to the other rooms but that’s pretty typical. Overall good stay and highly recommend for ski trips to 49 degrees north!

Property is in a good location and is quiet. Chewellah is a nice small town and we did plenty of walking around town for exercise. Drawbacks of the property are lack of shelf space (bathroom, bedroom) and no chairs. I will stay there again when I'm in Chewellah.

We were upgraded to the Cottage. A delightful bungelow with its own parking, well-stocked kitchen, and two very comfy beds. For those not cooking, there are nearby places to eat. We had a great breakfast at Monica's.

Incredible value. You get a mini fridge coffee maker, good size does good size TV. This is more than you usually get in a motel six for less money. The staff is friendly and genuinely interested in making sure you have a good stay and enjoy the area.

Very happy overall. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but is warm and inviting on the inside. The managers are friendly and very accommodating right there if you need anything. The information book in the room is chock full of places to eat and fun things to do and see. The room is small but set up nicely plus they have a huge tv and Wi-Fi service. Will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

It was pretty good and clean for a cheaply priced room but they definitely didn’t have soundproof rooms and a memory foam mattress like the details of the room said they did. We had the room with one queen bed. There also wasn’t a coffee maker in the room like places usually provide and there was a sign at the front desk saying coffee is provided from 7am-11am. It also wasn’t a problem for us but if someone’s needing to sleep during the day the curtains aren’t blackout curtains like they usually are so just some things to keep in mind
