Beautiful historic property. Very clean and well equipped. The bed in Room 7 was comfortable but rather squeaky such that I believe I woke my neighbors when I got up during the night 2X to use the bathroom. Also note the rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator (they didn't have them back then) in case you are limited in mobility. Great stay.

Our host was very welcoming and attentive. We stayed for dinner which was delicious! Our room was spacious and elegant. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. Highly recommend this charming hotel and restaurant.

The interior is beautiful. Well stocked coffee area. The only down thing was the bed was so very soft on one side a bit firmer on the other. Communication with the staff was good.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. My daughter and I had the room with the detached bathroom and it actually wasn't a problem at all. The hotel was quiet and the room and the bathroom were lovely and clean. There is 24 hour coffee / water area that is just great if you're an early morning coffee drinker like me. And the balcony at the front of the hotel (open to all guests) is a nice way to spend a warm evening or a rainy day (we did both). :)

The room was lovely! The Hotel had a very popular restaurant and bar area. We had just returned from a wedding and didn’t eat but had a nice conversation with the bartender and also the owner. Will definitely return to enjoy the restaurant!

We thought this place was one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. Bathroom and room were extremely clean, mattress extremely comfortable, staff is really friendly. We ate dinner and breakfast there. Food was very good and very reasonably priced. We didn’t want to leave, and plan to return when we can.

This three star property provides a 5 star worthy review. It is a beautifully maintained old hotel. I am very picky about where I stay and this small town historic hotel exceeded my expectation. Lovely room, comfortable bed, exceptionally clean and modernized bathroom. wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The Broadalbin had a nice small town feel with a hint of history. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the different nooks where you can sit. Most especially was blown away at the comfort of the beds. Best comfort at a hotel stay.

Pros: Room looked nice and clean. Cons: Was sent a text for my Sunday stay to park in rear, was given a code to enter back door which I had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs which I almost fell coming down, key was in room door, exterior run down, stayed in Osborne Room which was right by road with loud traffic so we got hardly any sleep, King bed had creaky springs and very loud, we woke up with back aches, room was freezing when entering, no cable, small tv, no blackout drapes, light came through 3 sides of door from hallway lights making room too bright, no bar soap or disposable toiletrees given but only glass bottle with shampoo, conditioner and lotion in room for each guest to reuse with Covid still going and antibacterial liquid hand soap.Too late to cancel reservation. Restaurant closed, cafe closed. Church across street kept making loud dong noises every hour at 8 am and loud music. Rooms not sound proofed, heard tv, someone yelling, vaccuuming, making load noises. Never again. This is not a quiet place to stay and out of over $190 plus 4% fee.

The room was clean and nice. Room 5 was a bit loud with the kitchen below. I asked the cook to turn the radio down around 10 and he was a gentleman, probably didn't realize it could be heard. Would definitely suggest this place to anyone tired of staying at a chain.

I was traveling and decided to stay at the Hotel Broadalbin. It is a nicely restored 170+ yr old hotel with restaurant/bar on the main street in a small village. Had a nice chat with the owner. It has the feel of stepping back in time. All the rooms were restored a few years ago and have that 19th century feel, antique furniture, etc. The bed was comfortable. I liked the smart Roku TV. I stayed there again the following week when i came back through. So much nicer than any of the chain hotels.

Everyone was so kind and friendly and made it so easy to check in whenever it worked for us. Dave, the owner, communicated with me on text to make sure we did t need to adjust our check in time, or how he could make it easier in any way. We loved the historic nature of this hotel and it was maintained and decorated to compliment that. Definitely a very welcoming and comfortable place to stay, as well as clean and Comfortable. We will certainly return.

Special from the Moment we booked to arrival & departure! Brittani accepted our booking instead of a computer & had a pleasant professional touch to her correspondence. Dave greeted us upon arrival with his small town welcoming & showed us the room & amenities. Thanks to Brittani we had dinner reservations less than 200 steps from our room. They have a down & upstair roomy porch. We watched the sunset top (thanks to recommendation from Dave!). Even the morning employee ask if we needed anything for our room.

We arrived late and hungry, but the kitchen wasn’t taking any more orders. Luckily the woman who checked us in (owner perhaps?) said they could do soup & salad, which was perfect. This hotel is a vintage full service hotel with dining room and bar and a friendly, accommodating staff. Very reasonable rates as well. We will gladly stay there again.

Not a totally pleasant experience. The owner was not a pleasant human. He should not be the face of their customer service team! He has a ready fire aim personality and made our stay uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. Although in the end he admitted his mistakes to his credit. He could use some training in his delivery and manners! Unfortunately I will not return to this establishment based on two separate incidents. Otherwise a satisfactory stay.

I've been travelling rather a lot for work lately, and I got so sick of the chain hotels that I have been a little more daring, taking my chances with smaller, in-town, more quirky spots. I was a little concerned about my night at the Hotel Broadalbin -- the outside is a little run down and they did check-in by phone, which I'd never experienced before. But inside is tasteful, clean, and well-ekpt. And my room was just perfect -- small, but very comfortable. Totally updated bathroom and access to a really nice second floor porch.

I was a little concerned about my night at the Hotel Broadalbin -- the outside is a little run down and they did check-in by phone, which I'd never experienced before. But inside is tasteful, clean, and well-ekpt. And my room was just perfect -- small, but very comfortable. Totally updated bathroom and access to a really nice second floor porch.

The Historic Hotel Broadalbin was a quaint place to stay in a small town. The gentleman who owned the hotel was nice and attentive to our needs. The room was small, but comfortable and in good condition. We ate dinner in the hotel. The food was ok. I don't remember the name of the German dishes that my wife and I got. My wife's pork dish was delicious. My beef dish tasted good, but was over cooked. My son's burger was decent. Our room was above the kitchen, and you could hear them playing music and banging around as they cleaned up until about 9:30. Overall, it was a good stay with minor inconveniences.

The hotel is stunning! I found it while scrolling through Expedia and seeing one mediocre chain hotel after another priced like resorts (when did Holiday Inn & Hampton become $300/night???). This hotel popped up with a $112 night special and while it was slightly out of the way for me, the price was right enough for me to detour. So glad I did!! Late check-in was a breeze and the staff was incredibly kind. I travel across the country frequently and will absolutely stay here again.

Location is centrally located around restaurants, bars and our family. Staff was great, from owner to wait staff, bartender and cleaning lady. Stayed in the Saratoga room. Bed was a little squeaky and on first night other customers were on the balcony smoking and talking until pretty late. Not a hotel problem a lack on respect from customers. This is a no smoking property and signs are posted. Local area has limited Uber, Lyft. We do not recommend Glove City Cab, cars are unsafe, drivers are strange and they are not reliable showed up 30-45 minutes after they were supposed to. We will stay here again they treated us like family. This hotel is historic for sure.

We thought this place was one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. Bathroom and room were extremely clean, mattress extremely comfortable, staff is really friendly. We ate dinner and breakfast there. Food was very good and very reasonably priced. We didn’t want to leave, and plan to return when we can.

The room was lovely! The Hotel had a very popular restaurant and bar area. We had just returned from a wedding and didn’t eat but had a nice conversation with the bartender and also the owner. Will definitely return to enjoy the restaurant!

We arrived late and hungry, but the kitchen wasn’t taking any more orders. Luckily the woman who checked us in (owner perhaps?) said they could do soup & salad, which was perfect. This hotel is a vintage full service hotel with dining room and bar and a friendly, accommodating staff. Very reasonable rates as well. We will gladly stay there again.
