The hotel is in a very historic building and the hotel preserves that. The rooms are quirky, i.e. there were 2 lamps on each side of the bed and the lampshades were old that no longer had any fabric over the metal frame. It was very different but it worked well. In the morning there's a coffee shop attached to the hotel, in the evening theres a separate small bar.

This place is a gem. The rooms are spacious and there are dining options downstairs. The beds were very comfortable, the digital check in process was very easy to complete and the room amenities were superb. We walked the downtown area and found good dining options available.

Only shortcomings of hotel were lack of grab bars in shower, and lack of comfort height toilets. Everything else was perfect!!! I will stay there again. Note: walk-in shower tile floor was not slippery, very safe.

Hart Hotel was perfect. Medina was charming, people very friendly. You just go to your room with the code that is texted to you. Our room was a studio with small kitchen area. Hotel is convenient to the Erie Canal and we stored our bikes inside. The Newell bar in the lobby was very inviting and the employees very pleasant.

We loved the quirky Hart Hotel where industrial heritage has been transformed into very comfortable and attractive rooms with very thoughtful extras like lots of USB sockets. After an evening meal elsewhere we returned and had excellent cocktails in the bar, enjoying the ambiance and having a chat with the knowledgeable bar tender.

Hart House is nice and has a lot of character. Very clean. The bar area is very nice. On the downside, it has the slowest elevator on the planet. Note also there is no breakfast offered. There is no front desk - the hotel is completely self-service. I overall I give Hart House 4 stars out of 5. I would give it a 5 if the price was more reasonable, but I stayed on a Friday night and they jack up the rates significantly on weekends.

Best AirBnb or hotel experience. The interior design, warmth of staff, toiletry offerings, simple and clear directions for the fireplace, every element of detail is carefully tended to at this hotel. The food and drinks in the cafe downstairs were delicious from a foodie perspective and they were happy to accomodate to those with simpler tastes. The hotel was pleasantly quiet, very walkable to plenty of dining options and GORGEOUS. Definitely plan to return.

The Hart House is an excellent stop for anyone visiting the Erie Canal, or biking its length (which I was). My room was great and really enjoyed the cafe downstairs for breakfast the next morning. The owners are lovely.

Room was very clean. Cleaning staff were very gracious and accommodating. Coffee pot did not work. Could not poke hole in coffee capsules so water spilled out. After cleaning up we poked a hole in the capsule manually and it sort of worked. Minor glitch really.

Amazing stay. Completely enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Hart House. The room was clean, well stocked and the woman there to clean was very friendly and helpful. If I’m ever back in Medina I will definitely stay again and will recommend to others!

We enjoyed our stay at Hart House —our second— after a hot day riding the canal path. The room, Unit 3, was welcoming and small but cozy with excellent air conditioning and a spacious and clean shower with wonderful amenities. A very short walk to Medina’s best dining. Comfy bed, we slept great. We enjoy staying here after our annual trek home from the Shaw Festival. There is a little street noise but it quieted after 10 pm which was fine. Love that the in-room coffee is an excellent quality.

Because of contactless checkin, Had to call the hotel 2x for different reasons. Questions answered and/or fixed within minutes. Didn’t miss “not” being able to speak with receptionist at a front desk. Everything was very well organized. Enjoyed our stay.

Had issues entering the front door. Called Andrew and he provided a back up code immediately. Not sure how people can enter their cocktail bar without the entry being unlocked, but he was there for us.

This is a contactless property. Communication was excellent, all amenities were as described. I loved staying in this modern space in a refurbished building. Beds were super comfortable and shower was absolutely delightful after a long hot day of bike riding.

This was a totally unique hotel experience for the three of us, a delightful blend of factory-era structure and modern convenience and innovation. We loved the cushioned window seat that extended over the sidewalk just 30 feet from the hub of Medina. Make sure to visit the extraordinary train museum a short walk away.

Lovely refurbished old hotel with modern flair and decor blended seamlessly w the vintage. So many artistic touches and thoughtful details. Beautiful shower!!! Located in the heart of downtown Medina, a quaint and friendly town right off the Erie Canal bike trail. We biked from Niagara Falls that morning, arrived around 2pm. Met Andrew who got us settled in to our room. Had a much needed shower and had dinner at the local pub with friendly locals. Overall a wonderful stay in Medina at a gem of a hotel.

Hart Hotel was perfect. Medina was charming, people very friendly. You just go to your room with the code that is texted to you. Our room was a studio with small kitchen area. Hotel is convenient to the Erie Canal and we stored our bikes inside. The Newell bar in the lobby was very inviting and the employees very pleasant.

I was pedaling the Erie Canalway and Medina was my first stop. I really liked The Hart House. It was convenient and reasonable and had character. Communication and check in was simple. Enough to do around the hotel to have a pleasant evening.

Coffee shop attached was perfect !! Pandan pistachio coffee and delicious breakfast sandwich Newell was nice for nightcap .. bartender made excellent drinks and pleasant Zambristro was walkable with good rooftop bar and food

The hotel is in a very historic building and the hotel preserves that. The rooms are quirky, i.e. there were 2 lamps on each side of the bed and the lampshades were old that no longer had any fabric over the metal frame. It was very different but it worked well. In the morning there's a coffee shop attached to the hotel, in the evening theres a separate small bar.

We loved the quirky Hart Hotel where industrial heritage has been transformed into very comfortable and attractive rooms with very thoughtful extras like lots of USB sockets. After an evening meal elsewhere we returned and had excellent cocktails in the bar, enjoying the ambiance and having a chat with the knowledgeable bar tender.

Best AirBnb or hotel experience. The interior design, warmth of staff, toiletry offerings, simple and clear directions for the fireplace, every element of detail is carefully tended to at this hotel. The food and drinks in the cafe downstairs were delicious from a foodie perspective and they were happy to accomodate to those with simpler tastes. The hotel was pleasantly quiet, very walkable to plenty of dining options and GORGEOUS. Definitely plan to return.

The Hart House is an excellent stop for anyone visiting the Erie Canal, or biking its length (which I was). My room was great and really enjoyed the cafe downstairs for breakfast the next morning. The owners are lovely.
