Wonderul stay at the Lord Nelson with very friendly staff to welcome us. Part of our tour through England/Wales this is where we started for a couple of days in this area. very nice location in town, with plenty of parking just behind the inn. Great food for dinner, had a good couple of nights rest. Had a great meal at the inn on one night. The other we went to "Little Italy" for tapas. Both recommended from our side! Had a nice walk along the water a couple of miles out theres a bridge and come back the other side back to town. By car we found plenty of sites to visit for walking routes.

The room we stayed in had a double bed and 2 single beds. it wasn’t big enough for the double bed never mind the other 2.. no wardrobe just a few coat hangers above the single bed. The floor was sloping so head lower than feet. The bathroom was tiny with half used toiletries. The pillow I had was filthy as was the fan. The window wouldn’t open so really stuffy. This room was £96 for 1 night without breakfast. Needless to say we will not be recommending or staying here again.
